Level 30 Necromancer/Master of Quest 64
|
I haven't played Dungeon Dice Monsters(mind you, I bought the double pack that contained it and Destiny Board Traveler), but they're both fun Yugioh games. I haven't played Metroid Prime 2. I still have yet to play Guantlet Legends(PSX), all 3 BK games(XBox/360), and a couple of other PSX/PS2 games I've gotten. |

I've played every game I have for at least a few minutes, but there are some I haven't played for any longer than that. |

Hi Stinger, how's things? It sounds like True Crime: Streets of New York is as bland as TC: Streets of LA! At first I thought I'd like it but even although there's this huge world to explore, there's nothing very interesting in it. All the houses look the same as well, which doesn't help in trying to memorise the layout. In the end I traded the game after only having played a handful of missions. |

Wizards and Warriors (NES) is the only game I own that I haven't played. Almost every other game I've played for extended periods of time and beaten. I'm currently in the process of selling a lot of my games. When it is all said and done I will only own an NES and an N64 (and PC of course). |

- alxbly things are good. i finally got burned out on monster hunter after 140+ hours. i put it down 3 weeks ago. i am not sure what to play next. you been doing all right? yeah streets of new york was bland and boring. it had evey problem the first one had (sprawling lame cities and repetitive peds) and EVERY single ped you pat down will cuss you out. i get mad and off them, and then i get bad cop points. it just isn't fun.... |

^ That's one I can definitely cross off my shopping list then!
Wow, 140 hrs is serious dedication... Is it Monster Hunter for PS2 or PSP that you've been playing? I've not played either game, but they look pretty good. If you want a good GTA clone I'd recommend Just Cause. The side missions can get a bit repetative but the island you can explore is simply jaw dropping! And the abilities your character has are pretty cool... completely unbelievable but still pretty cool! Just like the best GTA games there's loads of different vehicles you can use; cars, boats, planes, helicopters, bikes... everything you could want. There's one really big... nah, I don't want to spoil it! Weapons are all pretty meaty, with a good selection including pistols, machine guns, assualt rifles, rocket launchers and RPGs. The goal of the game is to bring about regime change on a group of islands and to do that you need to work with your "agency", a group of guerilla fighters and a drugs cartel. The more you work with each faction, the better the weapons and vehicles that you'll have at your disposal. Missions are similar to GTA with tasks such as collecting weapons, meeting contacts, stealing specific vehicles, races, etc. There's also liberating certain parts of the island, which plays like the gang wars in San Andreas, except that you're fighting against soldiers who are armed with heavy weaponary (including rocket launchers, tanks, attack helicopters, etc). It's definitely worth a look, especially now that it can be found for a bargain price. The Xbox 360 version runs pretty smoothly but I've not played any of the other versions. It does suffer from occasional glitches, though. |

That's Criminal! That game's bosses are second only perhaps the Shadow of the Colossus! And even then, MP2 has the advantage of being able to fire missiles and blow stuff up! |

At least half of the games in my (embarrassingly small) collection have received the "30 minute" treatment.
