One of my friends linked me to this site: http://www.urbanretrolifestyle.com/2007/07...ng-room-around/ Errrr... it looks familiar. I didn't even know this was on the net, otherwise I'd have blagged some publicity for N64 Answers and Nintendo 64 Forever!

That's a good point actually. How a stranger would manage to stumble across your pics is beyond me. Maybe someone from another forum you're a member of? |

Upon closer inspection, I don't think I see the familiar gray box-like pleasure box that is the NES in your stockpile of games. Tell me it isn't so--! |

It is so. I've never bothered rebuying a NES, as there's very few 2D games that I can replay for longer than a half hour or more at a time. The games I used to love playing on consoles like the Atari 2600, VIC20, Commodore 64, NES, SNES and Megadrive really only interest me for nostaligic reasons... My SNES very rarely gets used, so I suspect a NES (or any of the other consoles I've mentioned) probably wouldn't be a worthwhile purchase for me. The few games that I do miss are available in other ways; in Animal Crossing for example, and as extras in other games. I'm aware that this will probably shock people, but 2D never really done it for me. It was only when games moved to 3D that I began to get seriously interested in them, before that they were a distraction but they didn't really interest me that much. In fact, my brother was probably more interested in videogames than me... until the days of Doom, the Playstation and the N64. |
