... that they should pay us to read it. EGM = Electronic Gaming Monthly. It seriously has an ad on every other page.

EGM blows. It's one of the worse gaming magazines. |

Are there any gaming magazines or big websites that aren't heavily ad saturated and, for want of a better word, crappy? |

At least Nintendo Power has ad's for games, and not stupid stuff like bubble gum. But yeah, it is quite annoying having to go through an ad every couple pages when reading a magazine. |

egm was my absolute favorite gaming magazine in the late 90's. the magazines were huge, and i really liked their rating system. then the mag shrunk to half the content, but kept all the ads. what a dissapointment <_< i still probably would buy them over anything else. |

I'm a library aid during 3rd period, so I usually look through their copy of EGM whenever the issue comes in. The articles arent that bad, and theres a few unique things in every issue, but the reviews are terrible. All three reviews have the same opinion for the most part, so its just three different one-paragraph write-ups that pretty much say the same thing... |

EGM used to have tons of great previews for games and show lots of screenshots, but then they changed the whole format and barely do any previews.
