how do you get people to your forum?

Find a few people that honestly care and post interesting/funny things, and your board will grow from there. Either that or just bribe me to go to your board. I can work miracles (points to member title).

This. I am also "co-owner" of another forum, and we also have between 5-10 "regulars" or as you would call: core members. As long as they keep posting and visiting the board regularly, the board most likely never will die and it's still growing
