This year I' ve replayed so much N64 games:

Zelda Ocarina: 100% (not Hyrulean Loach)
Majora's Mask: 100%
Shadowgate: 100%
DK64: 100%
Rayman 2
Banjo Tooie: 100%
Banjo Kazooie: 100%
Conker's Bad Fur Day: 100% (just finish the game, nothing to collect)
Goldeneye 007 (all levels in 00 Agent and more time cheat achivied, still miss target time on Train, Facility and Caverns).
Perfect Dark (Only 3 mission in Perfect Agent....tomorrow I try to finish others levels).

This games ( ok not Shadowgate eheh) are still funny today.
I think that some of these are still the better games of ALL TIMES;-)

Some days ago I've unlocked all time cheat of Goldeneye.
Now I've joint the "Elite" (site where people register GE and PD fast time).
Now I'm really far from the top 100. I hope to get better

I've finish Diddy Kong Racing.. In 1998 it took me a lot and now I've beat it in three days (about 3 hours at day).
Now I'm going to try time trial...

Great game (and great soundtrack)

Ps. Wow the famous guy with a lot of Jurassic Park!

I've almost beated Turok 3 Shadow of Oblivion . This game surprised me pleasantly . The levels are huge but you'll never get lost, in fact they are divided into chapters. There are some platform elements , sometimes you can treat yourself with some stealth strategy . The weapons are fun , the graphic is solid and well cared for, is not at the highest level but given the size of the levels is truly amazing.
Musics are boring but have some moments.
You have ti play this game if you like a between Turok games and classic FPS.

Would you say its better than Turok 2? How does the game save, on the cart or the memory pak?
Memory Pak ;)
Turok 2 is very different, is more frustrating because of the incredibible huge levels but the graphic is a bit less cold. I would say that Turok 3 is more immediate and funny ;-)

Today is a sad day:

After 36 hours with Paper Mario I realised that I can't complete it 100% :(
I collected all the items, 160 star pieces, all the upgrade blocks, all the recipes, all the 64 Chuck Quizmo questions without mistakes, but I didn't give the "Peach's badges" to Mario and after the chapter six it's too late :-( so badges are 78/80.

One day....

I'm playing Excitebike 64 in these days, a fantastic racing game.
The graphic is impressive (even not in hi-res), it looks like a game of the successive generation.

@Decontendo
I almost finished Tonic Trouble. I'm surprised because the game is very short, the main world and the levels are very small if we think about the main N64 platformers, few enemies and all is pretty easy.
By the way I'm having a great time playing this game, just because a game like this has to be quickly enjoyable and immediate.
Graphic is very similar to Rayman 2 but obviously his big brother got a better (and first class) graphic (especially with Expansion Pak). Same about the musics.

Bot games are real platforms, so you will find 2D mechanics in 3D levels.

There is a way to find all the 500 cadeaux?
I beaten the game this year and I found about 450 cadeaux I seem. This is strange, becasue I explored all the rooms, so if was missing about 5-10 cadeaux was acceptable, but I don't think to have missed/skipped about 50 cadeaux.
There is a secret way to find them?

Congratulations, great work man! You mastered the game, unlock Screamin' Eagle is not easy at all :-P
I beaten it two months ago, very funny game in my opinion. The sense of speed is crazy in the last races.

I made an incredible fast lap on the last track (Extreme Extra) in Z Class with the car Extreme Green, all default settings. I didn't found a YouTube video with a faster lap, even with faster cars. I'm sure that someone did better than me but I invite you to try that race with that car man.

Look the last lap (made without other cars ahead) :dk:

Ok! Now I read better, I've seen the photo of Screaming Eagle so I thought that you beaten 100% the game (but there are other secret cars later ;)).
About Extreme Green, I advice you to use it, it could win every race but you have to never touch the walls, so it requires practice and a perfect knowledge of the tracks. Good luck! ;-)

Man after you beat this you have to beat the masterpiece called World Driver Championship. An hardcore gamer like you will love it (but maybe you played it yet :-P)

Yes this game can be frustrating, sometimes overtaking seems impossible and if you touch the car ahead you slow down.
Personally I beaten it without drifting, playing as a normal racing game. The most important thing is not touch the guardrails (one ot two touches are ok but not more) and the other cars, so the game requires to memorise every single turn.
My favourite car is Extreme Green, it's the most difficult car to drive, but when you learn how to drive it and you memorise the turns is fantastic.
However you want to beat 100% RR64 and you claimed Body Harvest some months ago...you like impossible things haha.
Good luck :yeah:

Beaten today Buck Bumble. I was playing two files, one for "training" and another one to attempt a longplay without die. Well...mission complete! As you can see in the photo 10 life on the last level.
Technically I beaten the game twice (plus once back in days).
The game is still very good, what a pity for the graphics (not horrible but not even good), I would have liked more ideas implemented on the gameplay, however the game is funny. Isn't Rogue Squadron of course, but I like it ;-)

In the last two days I beaten for the second time Donald Duck: Quack Attack (Donald Duck: Goin' Quackers).
This time I 100% beaten it. The game is very easy as it's child oriented but it's funny, it's a perfect mix between Rayman 2 and Crash.

Thanks MrKoippa ;-)
Yes I noticed that Floyd missions wasn't hard and frustrating as more people says. I think that all the racing games that I played lately maybe helped me haha.
But the mission was very hard anyway (even if not almost impossible). It took me about an hour beat the mission where you have to take all the 16 blue items and destroy the 10 white items under 55 seconds, and it took me another hour beat the mission where you have to collect all the 24 DNA parts under 55 seconds.

I'm curious to see your progress on RE2. I played on CRT some months ago and it's a beauty. Unfortunately this time I didn't beaten it, I beaten yeard ago but I'm not a survival horror maniac.
Thanks fot the info, I didn't know many of the things you wrote about the game.
Good luck for your run man!

Next week I will start with Rush 2049 for the BEA ;-)

Both of these games give me a different feel about the N64. It expands my perspective of the system.
I totally agree. When you play NTSC-J N64 exclusive is like discover another console completely different.

It's hard to believe that Sin and Punishment is an N64 game for example.

I played a bit Neon Genesis Evangelion, is it possible to beat it without a guide if you don't know Japanese?

Fantastic post man!
I love to read about games not in standard reviews but in the words of people who discovered every single aspect of yhe game.
You made an incredible work, congratulations! :yeah: :yeah:

I beaten the game again in these days and, as I'm playing TGR2 too, I can appreciate the controls and cars behaviour. Much better than any N64 car game.
Make perfect laps it's very addictive ;-)

Great work!

This week I beaten 100% V-Rally. A very hard task but very rewarding too.
If you don't mind the PS1 graphics, the awful sounds and the ridiculous (and frustrating) collisions system, this game is great!
