Went to the Vancouver Gaming Expo yesterday: http://www.vancouvergamingexpo.com/

Picked up Banjo Kazooie and Extreme G for the N64 there. Nice deals. Looking forward to playing them, but first I've got to finish off NHL'99 and WWF No Mercy.

That's cool, I really enjoyed Killer Instinct on the SNES, I should try to pick up the N64 version sometime.

I'm level grinding in Pokemon Stadium, hopefully I'll get the team all to Lv.100 soon.

I'm starting to get the hang of Extreme G, my most recent purchase. Awesome fast racing game.

Also playing NHL'99, almost done the 2nd round of the playoffs. I miss real NHL hockey.

Finally got 2 of my Pokemon to Lv.100, only 3 more to go and then I can finally finish off Pokemon Stadium. After having my memory wiped out earlier this year, it's been a long road back.

Also won an NHL '99 Hockey game 3-2 in overtime vs. the Vancouver Canucks. Now I'm up 2 games to 1 in the 3rd round of the playoffs. Every game is tough on all-star difficulty.

I've finally got my Pokemon team to level 100 on Pokemon Stadium: Mewtwo, Mew, Zapdos, Starmie, and Venusaur. Yeah, it's a cheesey team but who cares, I'm just beating the CPU.

Even with the team on Lv.100, there's still that blasted Stat Experience to work on. Grrr.

I'm on the Stanley Cup Finals in NHL '99 (yay, almost done!), facing off against the Pittsburgh Penguins. They're really good, especially on the maximum difficulty. I've discovered that their goalie, despie having really high overall statistics, seems to be pretty bad at stopping short-range shots. Also been playing a lot of WWF: No Mercy, just when I have some spare time and nothing else to do.

Extreme G: Man, some of the later levels of this game are insane! So glad I picked this game up, having a blast with it. Took me a while to get good at it but now I seem to be pretty consistent. Now the only issue is finding time to play.

I keep chugging away at Pokemon Stadium and WWF No Mercy, not much new to say about 'em. But soon...

Oh, and I bought Mario Tennis for Game Boy Colour off Ebay, so soon I'll actually have a game to use the Transfer Pak on besides Pokemon! :)

Aww man, I almost had Survival Mode on WWF No Mercy beat, less than 10 more CPUs to eliminate, and I get eliminated by one sweep kick from Saturn.

I know I'm close... I'm getting consistently close to beating it every time, but it's aggrivating playing for over 90 mins and just not quite getting there. When I finally do this I'm running around the room with my arms in the air.

When I play by myself (not too often at college), I've been playing F-Zero X. I love that game, and I'm going for 100% completion. I have beaten all but the first circuit (don't ask why) on Master difficulty.

Has anyone here beaten all 4 circuits on Master?

I've done all 4 on Master. Which drivers are you using?
F-Zero X is a great game. I can't get over how fast some of the level go.

I've barely played any games at all in 2013, but today I finally beat Meltdown mode on Extreme G, started my season of NBA In the Zone for the Game-off, and I boguht Namco Museum off E-bay (for only $10 bucks too, pretty good compared to other prices I've seen).

I also bought Extreme-G 2, but I'm waiting until I've beaten more of the first one more before diving into it.

Played an hour and a half long Super Smash Bros match (yes 1 match).
These were the results. I was Link. The lives were set to 99, damage to 200 and all items at very high spawn rates.

Haha, that is epic. I've always thought about doing that but I figured it would just get too repetive.

What stage were you fighting on?

Star Wars : Rogue Squadron keep messing up bringing down that bloody walker on the 4th level,

Star Wars: episode 1 racer, just as great as i remember it on the Dreamcast

Oh man, that Rouge Squadron level, I know exactly what you mean. I've never beaten that thing. The worst thing is when you make a complete rotation adn you think "Yes! I'm doing it1 This is the time!" And then nope, the tow line breaks again. :(

Sigh.... One day I'll beat that level. One day...

As for what I've been up to, I just picked up Mortal Kombat Triology for $10 off Craigslist. :)

Now I just need to find the time to play it...

It did get pretty repetitive after about the first 15 minutes. :P I was playing on Sector Z, my favorite stage.
I figured it had to be either that stage or Hyrule Castle. In the smaller stages where there's less room to manuever you would be constantly fighting the entire time. In the bigger stages you at least get to take a bit of a breather now and again because the CPUs aren't always in your face.

Just imagining trying to play for that long in the Dreamland stage... I think I'd give myself high blood pressure if I ever tried to do that.

You had a pretty good K.O. ratio, if you played for 90 mintues you basically did an elimation every 55 seconds. Not a bad pace for that long of a session!

I finally managed to do something that most people never do: Unlocking the "Ho" character in WWF No Mercy, which costs $500,000 at the game's shop.

I'm not sure if this gives me bragging rights or if it's just a sign that I've been playing this game way too much. :-/

Yeah, F-Zero X is a great game. I think there are just so many great racing games on the N64 that it's hard to stand out from the pack (except for Mario Kart, of course).

I've been busy lately, went on a winter vacation and work and school are both demanding, so not much N64 time for me. But I did finally pick up Goldeneye as part of a Craigslist purchase. :D

I managed to give myself a nasty papercut on my left thumb at work so I haven't partaken in any N64 this week - Dark Rift is hard enough on my thumbs already.

So I've just been sticking to Game Boy instead. Tonight I'm finishing off Dragon Warrior 3, which I've been playing a lot of lately.

Just got done playing some Doom 64. Havnt played this in years and IMO is still a great game. I'll get to playing NBA Jam 2000 for the game off when it arrives in the post. Might pick up Doom 64 too if nobody else has claimed it.
I don't own NBA Jam 2000 but I do own NBA Jam 99.I'll probably pick it up one day though.

Do you have '99??

So, I finally finished the greatest gaming journey I have ever embarked upon. After watching my brother play it for many hours those eight years ago and finally picking it up for myself two years ago and finishing it today, I have completed... THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME! :w00t:  :n64: :link:

It was such an incredible game and after many many hours of frustration, usually due to my inept gaming abilities, exhilaration and much use of guides  I beat the game today. Definitely my proudest gaming achievement at the moment. I have some high expectations for Majora's Mask. :D
Congrats man. I know how good it feels to scratch that one off your to-do list. I'm probably one of the few people out there who beat Majora's Mask first though.

Trust me, Majora's Mask won't disappoint. :D

I have to say that now that I've got to play Dark Rift and really gotten to know the game, it's not bad at all. It's not great by any means, but for a $5-$10 game I think it's worth it if you put the effort in. It's a decent challenge and it controls really well with the thumbpad. I think that when people try to use the control stick that's where they go wrong on this game. The control stick is very hard to handle on, moves just don't come out right. i think I actually prefer it to KI Gold, which I never really got into. Maybe it was just too fast for me, Dark Rift is a much slower fighter in comparison. (Then again I had huge problems getting the hang of Street Fighter 2 Turbo, so maybe it's me.)
