Hey! It finally worked for me. Found out that the URL wasn't the problem at all actually...everytime you upload a url you have to be careful to watch for the http// thingy. This site likes to automatically put that in there BEFORE you upload your actual url link, which I copied and pasted the entire url including the http// heading LOL. so I had http// and then another http// followed right behind it. Silly me! Anyways thanks for setting me straight bro.

I couldn't have found the place with out you Axlbly. I like what i'm seeing in these forums so far. Smaller tighter community of gamers. Everybody seems pretty friendly too. It's one of the first message boards I have visited that has been just this pleasent. Most sites deal in harsh critics whom you can never please. Anyways, your glad im here and i'm glad to be here!

Yeah... but if you so much as have a negative thought about the Nintendo 64, I'm going to beat some respect into you with a baseball bat. Otherwise though, I'm as friendly as a big pink dinosaur. Take that as you will... |

Ahh come now....why would I join the Nintendo 64 community on this site if I didn't actually LIKE the N64? LOL... Anyhow, it's nice to get a lot of response from folks around here and thank you. And that's right baby...WHO DEY! Think they gonna beat dem Bengals, where do they play? In the jungle...I said nobody! Yeah man that feels good. I'm a big time Cincinnati Bengals fan. I'm just as much into Cincinnati Bengals football as i'm into Nintendo gaming. By the way, you all should pay the Queen City a visit some day. Really nice world famous Cincinnati style chilli made with a spicey and sweet flavor. We actually add cinnamon to our chilli or even a touch of brown sugar.....Ok I think i'm getting hungry now.... |

I'm guessing it's their football team's slogan/battle cry. XD Down here in Alabama it's a rivalry between Alabama Vs Auburn..Auburn's is "WAR EAGLE" which is stupid because their mascot is a tiger. And Alabama's is "ROLL TIDE!" |

Yeah it's a Cincinnati trend. Bengals fans are often noted for shouting out the words "WHO DEY!" as in who thinks they can beat us. Now all Cincinnatians refer to the Bengals home feild as the "JUNGLE" where the Bengal tiger roams LOL. So we all chant when the Bengals start kicking tail ends or scoring touchdowns "WHO DEY think they gonna beat dem Bengals, where do they play? In the Jungle....I said nooooo booodddy! Boy I get riled up over my beloved home team ha ha ha. Now in Cincinnati you got one rule you gotta follow when out on the streets during the NFL season. NEVER EVER and I mean EVER, mention the daggon Pittsburgh Steelers. We hate the Steelers lethaly...as in I have seen street fights break out over that stuff. We hate them and they hate us....simple. It's one of the NFL's most bitter rivals. The players fight just as bad as we fans will too. It's like a gang war anytime Pittsburgh comes into town. Almost like a mosh pit! Yeah you can walk in alright....can't guaruntee you'll walk out ok though! Here...a little Bengals Hatoraid for the steelers fans ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hey come on now, is that really necessary? I don't get what this whole feud is between the Bengals and Steelers. I mean, I know there was that incident a few years ago where Carson Palmer got injured in the Bengals vs. Steelers playoff game, but it isn't like that was intentional. Can't you let it go? I actually have a Steelers shirt that I wear on occasion... though I always wear a Bengals shirt under it. Depending on where I go, I might do a quick change so I don't receive any guff. Don't start talking about chili, you're going to make me start to crave it... not that that's hard to do. I can't get enough of Skyline Chile, I always have at least one can stashed away for those cold, rainy days.

Really there is a lot of reasons for the animosity between the two teams that have nothing to do with the Carson Palmer injury. I'll try to explain a few of them.... Head coach Marvin Lewis of the Cincinnati Bengals was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Former Steelers coach Bill Cowher gave Marvin Lewis his first NFL job as a defensive coordinator IN Pittsburgh. Former Bengals Head coach Dick Lebeau is now a defensive coordinator IN Pittsburgh. QB Ben Rothlisberger of the Steelers played college ball at Ohio State. Defensive tackle Kimo Von Olehoffen was the man that shredded Carson Palmer's knee in that AFC wildcard playoffs game. The fact that he was a former BENGALS defensive tackle only added fuel to the fire. He also later admitted to the press that he had intended to roll into Carson Palmer, that it was not an accident. He stated that he was only trying to intimidate the Bengals star QB, not to actually HURT him. The Steelers owner and CEO Art Rooney was later fined by the NFL for it too. It was a well known fact that both Bill Cowher and Marvin Lewis did not get along. At the conclusion of the playoff win in Cincinnati, Bill Cowher had his steelers mock the WHO DEY! chant by citing "Who Dey? We Dey!" This chant fueled the rivalry between the two head coaches. Joey Porter THEN of the Steelers, was arrested in Las Vegas Nevada for assaulting a Bengals Offensive tackle after the Steelers Super Bowl victory and during the off season. Several eye witnesses told police that Porter swung first. The Bengals offensive tackle (who's name i'm forgetting right now) later dropped the assault charges. Carson Palmer and Steelers all pro Troy Polomalu, were roommates AND teammates at USC college. Former Bengals great, QB Ken Anderson is now a QB coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers. .....there is actually more similarities between these two teams that escapes me at the moment. What makes this rivalry so heated is the fact that both these two teams KNOW each other and not just because they are in the same division. They really KNOW know each other. I think that when your having to deal with people you know and happen to dislike on a deeper level than simple football, it tends to get very ugly. I believe that the players hate each other more than the fans hate their opposing fans. The friction between the two incites rage among us fans however. When a Bengals fan sees a late and unnecessary hit, we get irate. And the players do intentionally aim to hurt each other in their games together. One of the funniest moments I recall as I witnessed the 4th fight between the two teams in that wonkey playoff game in 2005, was performed by announcer Phil Simms. Phil questioned the players on both teams stating that they should be more professional and that they seemed to lack discipline. He then put on the famous song "WHY CAN'T WE BE FRIENDS"! But the fact of the matter is, often times it's more the players faults than us fans whom are impressioned by our respective teams. If our favorite players want to duke it out on almost every snap and espescially in big playoff games where emotions are higher, then you gotta know the fans are gonna want a shot at the action too! ...And that's why we CAN'T be friends in a Bengals/Steelers rivalry. Although I do apologize if my previous comment offended anyone. |

They sound more like a dysfunctional family than two football teams... I bet they secretly love each other!
Either way, I don't care about supporting a team or getting caught up in team rivalries, I just want to see a good game of football. I'm not sure what you could classify me as; I watch the games but I don't follow the other aspects such as players and feuds... or even their win/loss record. Casual fan of football, I guess? Nintendo would probably classify me as a "non-watcher".

Yeah you got it somewhat. They really do seem to be a dysfunctional family.....but believe me these men are trying to kill each other LOL there is NO love there. I am a Bengals enthusiast but I thrive on action more than anything else. I actually enjoy watching braws....it's as engaging as watching the games themselves to me. I dice up my need for football on Sundays and Monday Nights. My Passion for Nintendo and gaming in general is sated throughout the normal week. |

Coolio! Mine is pretty obvious so I won't bother with mine. My board name all across the net in many places is always Damion Michaels. This is because at the time of my birth, my mother had wanted to name me Damion and my father (who's name is Michael himself) wanted to name me Michael JR. Since both my mom and dad could never agree, they decided to name me Shaun Michael Aeschliman....that being my real name in full. I borrowed two of my would be sur names and use them regularly as a pen name in writings, and on the net in general. |

Being a pretty decent judge of caligraphy in general, I was already pronouncing you that way personally. But I also didn't want to assume so I asked you. So what does it mean? What was your inspiration for it? |

Sorry mate, I couldn't resist! There's a kind of in-joke on the board about spelling Rapueda with a Q. I think it was Mop (Moq?) who started it...

Of course it was me, nobody else would do something that stupid. I'm the type of person who doesn't often pay full attention to things, and so I thought that Rapueda's name was spelled with a "Q" instead of a "P". He eventually caught it and corrected me, but it was too late... the misspelling was already burned into my brain, and I can't spell it any differently. Raqueda even went so far as to install a word filter that would change "Raqueda" to "Rapueda", but it has since been removed for some reason... Hm... That story isn't very interesting, is it? Maybe I should make something up next time... |
