I'm looking forward to the release of the Hyrule Historia book here in the US this week. I pre-ordered a copy from Amazon. Did you all know that this is the book that knocked 50 Shades of Grey off the top of Amazon's sales chart?

Wow floorcat, Im guessing your really looking forward to that game. Finally got my hands on Hitman HD Trilogy. I get it home to play Blood Money first and low and behold, it wants me to change it from Pal 50 to Pal 60. Ok, so I go into display settings and there is no option to change it.aaarrrr So to youtube I went for some possible answers. Apparently on the 360 you need to break your component cable out and then you can switch it in the settings. The you can change back to your HDMI cable and all will be well. Well, I bloody gave my component cable to my brother when his broke awhile ago didn't I. Looks like im going to have to shell out $5 to buy a new one from ebay. On a brighter note, i started playing Hitman 2 Silent Assassin and am loving it. Such a great game.

I'm EXTREMELY on the fence about getting Deadspace 3 but only because of 59.99 XD Co-op'ed the demo with my Roomie the other night and we had a blast! It's nowhere as scary as the last two ( from the demo's perspective ) but it is still just as THRILLING! |

From what I've seen of the first two Dead Space games this third one is quite different. I saw the demo being played and it seriously reminded me of the Lost Planet games. |

Yeah... the Dead Space 3 demo involves quite a bit of large insect-y things, very few scares, and a lot of shooting... including shooting at things/people who shoot back! All of these weren't that common (or non-existent altogether) in the previous 2 games. The atmosphere/setting is fundamentally different from the previous games as well, being in a very spacious, oftentimes well-lit (and naturally-lit) environment, but in my opinion the dead space team is very capable in almost every way, so I'm not worried. I've followed the Dead Space lore from every game (except for the iOS game), web-series, comic, interactive website, and novel (currently reading the second one, Dead Space: Catalyst), and it's a pretty well thought-out, deep universe they've created. At this point, I'm a totally biased, overly spastic Dead Space fanboy, and Dead Space 3 could turn out to be a crap-tacular mess, but I already know I'm gonna love it!!

Read a review on The Last of Us today. Looks like a really good game. Havn't played the uncharted series, but from what people say about it, this game should be good. And damm just read it's a PS exclusive. That's not good.

I'm guessing that by now anyone who was geared up for GTA V has seen that it was pushed back to September 17th, but if not then I guess you know now. I want to be disappointed and say that I can't stand all the extra wait time but that would be the old me. Nowadays I'm perfectly fine with delays. On a high profile title like this that can only mean the final product will be that much more polished and ready for mass consumption. Plus, it frees up about $60 for other games coming out in the next 2 or 3 months.

I've always liked companies that would rather disappoint you and push back the release date rather then send out a half finished game or buggy game and just fix it later with updates or DLC. On the other hand, when they push it back and it STILL has issues when it's released, that pisses me off. |

I have Tomb Raider, Pandora's Tower, Dead Island: Riptide and The Last of Us all pre-ordered and their release dates span from early March to late May. GTA V was gonna be right in the middle of all that as well so this helps. I'm even splurging on special editions of Tomb Raider and Dead Island, as well as a cool strategy guide for TR. The only other game I have pre-ordered is Beyond: Two Souls and it doesn't have an official date yet but is projected all the way into early 2014. And I'm seriously debating picking up Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch now instead of waiting for a price drop, but the other games are higher priority to me.
