Awesome news Red. Picked up my copy of Army of Two the Devil's Cartel this morning. Now I just have to wait until work is over before I can go home and play it :yeah:
Sweet! I hope you enjoy it. I owned the first Army of Two game a couple years ago and just couldn't get into it.

Honestly, i'm a HUGE metal gear fanboy, but im worried about this.

Main reason being that David Hayter isn't voicing snake, this pretty much is gonna bug me throughout the game.

Also kinda annoyed its coming out for current gen consoles, really wanted to see this on PC or next gen, running at full hd with AA

I don't mind the graphics look fine to me, again I could care less about graphics as long as its polished and looks clean (aka mario galaxy/skyward sword)

Isn't it possible it might still be announced for next gen?

And wait, did Ground Zeroes get canceled in favor of this?

@hockey Its more nitpicking, but I really notice the current consoles graphical shortcomings after playing on PC for a few years now, plus 30FPS which console games tend to run at, feels quite laggy to me.

Also kinda ruins the Photorealism target they were going for when you get jagged lines and reduced resolution (just to show what I mean - http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/867215320824423188/C98443FB5EC9AB884A58BAE45C355C4C345D079A/ (possible bioshock inf spoiler)

@Shadow I suppose, but I feel like if it was, it would have been announced already

Ground Zeroes + Phantom Pain = MGS 5 :D

They were two trailers with different titles released at different times but they are both about the same game ;)

I am excited for sure!

Yep, head is spinning. In a small way I feel sort of upset that they are going to throw two games at us instead of just one. Mo' games, mo' money. <_<

MGS5 does indeed look brilliant, but David Hayter's absence is going to be seriously weird and hard to ignore. I know his voice, or lack thereof, won't directly impact the game, but come on, Big Boss without Hayter's voice? Hell to the naw.
Give this man a fish, and he can throw it up eleven times

Just wanted to shoot two things out there:

Firstly, I'm having a pretty decent experience with The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct so far. Graphically, its a shoddy mess. If you think about what current consoles should be able to do at this point in their lifespan, this game is a massive disappointment. If you've ever played PC games on a computer with a poor graphics card, or if you've ever loaded into a level on a PS3 or 360 game and watched the layers of graphics pop into place, then you kinda know what I'm getting at. It seems like the final "coat of graphical paint" doesn't appear like it should and that is just how the graphics look. So I am a little peeved that they didn't take the time to clean everything up. But it is actually a fun and immersive game. There are some other problems with it, though, that I might address at a later time. But for now I'm not regretting the purchase or the price I paid...yet.

Secondly, I read an article online that was posted last month that said The Last Guardian was moved from PS3 to PS4. It is a rumor as it has not been officially announced from what I could find out, but if it is true then color me super sad and upset. I cannot see why they couldn't get this game out with all the years they've had to do so. And now it'll most likely go to a console I'll never own. Grrrr!

The tale of two games. One released too quickly and another that was sat on for way too long. :nope:

I figured that would be coming red shadow, when you don't get any news about a game for years and the next gen is coming just this year they probably wanted to move it to ps4. Same thing probably happening with FF13Vs. since square said a new FF would come to ps4. Hate when companies pull crap like this

I know, it makes me feel miserable just thinking about it. Shadow of the Colossus was and still is my favorite PS2 game to this day. They did an amazing job with that and ICO wasn't all that bad either. We've known about The Last Guardian since 2009 at least so I just don't get how it couldn't have been completed in time for the PS3. I know things were complicated by Fumito Ueda leaving Sony and changes in the team's development process, but surely they could have gotten it done by now. Oh well, it is no use crying about it as it has no effect. I'm just bummed by this apparent change in events. :-/

Bite your tongue, man!

But in all seriousness, I knew this kind of thing was going to happen. Between this and a new Zelda title on the WiiU I now have a couple of temptations out there that are just sticking their tongues out at me. I can only imagine the same will happen with the new Xbox. >_<

It's kinda inevitable mate. They will always be teasing you with some new game that you'll rationalise with yourself that you can't live without.

So I have to add Batman: Arkham Origins to my list of games to watch out for. I need to see what it will look like and how it'll play since it is not being developed by the same guys who did Asylum and City. And since it is due in October I think they need to show off some gameplay as soon as possible.

Guessing you've thoroughly played/enjoyed Arkham Asylum & City, Red?? I've never been a huge Batman fan, but I LUST for the kind of melee combat that can be found in those two games. Seriously... the combat mechanics are better than any other game I've ever played/witnessed... SO FUN & SATISFYING!!!

(And in all honesty, these two games successfully DID turn me into a Batman fan.)

In reverence to AA/AC, I'd like to bring up the absolutely awesome trailer for AC... probably the best, most fitting song (from The Heavy) in a game trailer EVER!!

Now Playing: Clash Royale (mobile), Gravity Rush 2, Rayman Legends, Project CARS, Uncharted 4 Survival Mode ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

I'm worried about Arkham Origins. I think it will be cool but I think a lot of people like me who want to know what happens after Arkham City. Won't get to see until they make a game. Sure this game looks cool but like Red said. It's not developed by Rocksteady. And they made the first 2.

I came almost all the way to the end of Arkham Asylum but got stuck at the Poison Ivy boss battle. I haven't played it in quite awhile. I wanted to finish it before I jumped into Arkham City but couldn't wait so I started it up and played a little ways in. City is pretty fun and I like the concept but I give the edge to Asylum. It reminded me of how much fun I had playing games that took place in one building/complex like Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid. They're both fantastic games but now that Origins is in the hands of someone else I'll need to give it a closer look before I jump into it.

Looking forward to The Walking Dead A Telltale Games Series. I believe that this has been available in North America for some time, but is only getting a release here on the 9th of May.

Doesn't it just figure that when things are getting good they decide the next game will be a prequel? Perhaps they're saving up an official sequel to Arkham City for the next gen consoles. >_<

I'd seriously stake my gaming interests on you enjoying that game. I'd be seriously shocked if you didn't profess your absolute love of it after you've played it. I'm looking forward to next month!

That's a big call Red. But your probably right tho. From my research it looks really good. At least better than the rubbish they bought out recently of The Walking Dead.

You still playing it? managed to finish it yet??

Haven't played it since the first go round, but only because I realized it took a little more strategy than I was giving it. I want to take my time with it because it actually has some promising aspects.

If you're referring to the Telltale Games Walking Dead game then I have played it already. Played and completed it twice, in fact. LOVED it! Every minute of both playthroughs. :yeah:
