Excellent! I don't think you'll be the least bit disappointed. Yeah, its pretty rare for me to play a game through a second time immediately after the first time but I did with The Walking Dead. It originally released here via Xbox Live, PSN and online in episodes. First episode released April 24 for PC and on PSN and April 27 on XBLA. The fifth and final episode came out November 20 for PSN and the 21st for PC and XBLA. The others released in between, usually about a month to a month and a half after the previous. I held out for the retail version that released on December 11 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. My copy was 360 and I dove right in. As soon as I had completed it I was eager to play it a second time and see what other choices I could make, etc. etc. Then, when I got my internet back I proceeded to watch a handful of my favorite YouTubers play the game. Needless to say, I've been pretty saturated with the game since December but it is still my game of the year for 2012.

Sooooo...this. Project X Zone I'm not a big fan of Smash Bros. style games (although I'm still keeping my eyes open for an All-Stars Battle Royale price drop) but this might interest those of you who are. EDIT: A closer inspection reveals that the game isn't just fighting but some strategy/RPG elements are thrown in as well. Sounds kinda cool. ANOTHER EDIT: Haha, the use of the term Smash Bros. in that article was apparently because of the mix and mash of different game franchises. That screencap certainly makes it look like Smash Bros.-style. Anyways... yes Red, you totally need to get All-Stars... it's fun!!  And if you've got Yogurt on your side, you'll probably win online matches,too!!What's funny (and feels a little unnatural) is that I'm not really psyched up for any games at the moment. YES I want Last of Us... YES YES Dark Souls II (although I need to actually play past the 2nd (or 3rd?) campfire)... but nothing is really making me scream "ZOMG NEED MUST GET CANNOT WAIT!!" ... which is probably a good thing... I've got a pile of stuff I already have that needs (NEEDS, I say!) to be played. On the top of this pile? GTAIV. Never played it. Gotta see it all before GTAV comes out. After that, it's... Uncharted 3 Red Dead Redemption Max Payne 3 Brütal Legend Mass Effect 3 (multiplayer) Sniper Elite V2 LittleBigPlanet Karting Sonic & Sega All-Stars 1&2 SSX NFS: Hot Pursuit & Most Wanted The urgency in all of it is that I kind of want to play all these games and really experience their multiplayer portions before A) they totally die out completely, or B) the multiplayer servers are shut down... both of which are an impending inevitability now that the next gen is closing in upon us. |

If you're referring to The Walking Dead game from Telltale Games then you should know it follows the graphic novel more closely than the show. But yes, you should definitely play it as it is an unbelievably great game!

I keep thinking the list of games coming out this year that I want to buy should be shrinking as I pick up titles from that list, but NOOOOO. Of course not!  The new Telltale Games release looks pretty good, and this comes on top of the fact that The Walking Dead Season Two should be out this fall. I can just see that money flying away from me. If you're gonna get Saints Row IV and can stand waiting a month or so then watch steam. They do deals on games like that pretty quickly. |

Yep, and I'd much rather see a game that is complete and as bug-free as possible when released at a later date then pushed out early and needing immediate patches and updates. |
