Which do you prefer, cats or dogs?

Personally, although I love both, I have to say cats. I love their independance and their quirks (non-cat people think that cats are all the same and don't have personalities, but they are wrong, cat's do have individual traits).

Although I can certainly understand anyone who says that they prefer dogs, as dogs are far more loyal and devoted (most cats don't care much about anyone but themselves, as cats are solitary creatures by nature, whereas dogs are pack animals, like humans), plus dogs like to please, whereas cats couldn't care less what anyone else wants.

You could well draw up an argument that humans don't deserve dogs, as we often mistreat them (I don't mean all of us, most humans are kind to dogs, but some people are absolute b*st*rds and neglect or treat them cruelly) or take them for granted, and they deserve far better than that. No animal deserves cruelty, but with dogs it's somehow even worse, as their nature is so often to love their "masters".

Catz. I grew up with cats as the family pets so I'm pretty good with cats and I like them a lot. I like dogs too.

Dogs as long as it's not something stupid as hell like a bulldog or a pug. I've always grown up with dogs so yeah. I love beagles, and yorkies. Yorkies never shut up but they're one of the most playful dogs ever.

Don't like either one, but if I were forced to choose then it would be cats. They keep to themselves and aren't attention whores like dogs.

The only pet worth having would be a stoat.

1. dogs aren't necessarily smelly because you can wash them, plus i've seen smelly cats.
2. its i good thing that dogs are loud because it gives them more personality, imagine if dogs and cats didn't make any noise.
3. dogs don't go to your face or crotch if there well trained , don't blame the dog blame the owner.
4. dogs are loyal and are mans best friend.

i could says a lot of things about cats but its not there fault that they kill native birds its the owners fault for letting them have that opportunity to kill native birds.
