What great games are you ashamed you never finished? for me it's Zelda: Ocarina of Time. i loved the game but for some reason i never got around to beating it. Luckily since my 360 RRoD'd I've had a lot more time to spend with my N64 and it looks like I'm finally on my way to beating OoT... even if it is 10 and a half years late.

Pretty much the only games I never finished are games I never wanted to finish. If it's a game I can enjoy, I'll play it the whole way through. If I don't like the game, I'll simply not play it after I make some decent progress and it seems that things just aren't going to get better. I never got to finish Banjo-Tooie, though. That game is massive. |

I really wanted to dinish morrowwind and oblivion Pity the my laptops key board isn't very reliable and the pc i used to play it on is dieing. it lags even with just one internet window open like now and takes about 10 minutes before the desktop becomes responive. Does Marrowwind work on windows vista? if it does i might install it on my windows vista computer. or wait till i get a better gaming pc hopefully by the end of the year 1 im looking at is 2 gforce 9800 gts 8 gig ram 1 tb hard drive windows vista ultimate quad core |

Zelda: Windwaker for me. I got all the way to beating the Wind Temple and then got distracted by other games, and never got around to finishing it. |

Same goes for me. I passed that forest dungeon about 2 years ago, and never really bothered to continue on with the game. I have no idea why though, it's one of the best N64 games I've played. |

Maybe that's the problem, the game is so great that you don't want to finish it so you'll always have it to look forward to? |

Possibly. Though I believe the primary reason for me not finishing the game is I always attempt to play it during the busiest periods of my life. To illustrate my point, I started my first Paper Mario playthrough when I got my first job, about four years ago. Needless to say I ran out of free time pretty quickly, and in turn lost interest. I then attempted to complete the game again (from scratch) a couple of weeks before my exams. No explanation needed. Nowdays I have even less time for gaming, and Paper Mario never seems to work its way up my "must play" list of games. But regardless I've promised myself that I will finish the game, even if it happens ten years from now. |

Yeah I was lucky with the first 2 Paper Mario games, summer holidays (in fact I got both games on Christmas of their respective years) which meant heaps of spare time. Played through both games in about 15 days of pretty intense playing, I got so into them! For me the game that had beaten me in the past has been Turok 2. However, earlier this year I got an urge to suddenly play the first Turok, which I did beat when I was 9, but using cheats (from that game afterwards, I never used cheats to beat a game again). So anyway, I beat the first turok just this year, and now, Turok 2, as far as I've eve been, about to enter level 6, just after I got back and get the rest of the goodies from level 4 and 5. Can't wait!

Endure and survive...

on the n64 bomber man 64 - i was dissapointed with it, but still wish i would have stuck with it. super mario 64 - i never made it to 120 stars. i stopped at 116 leaving the most difficulones left undone. ps2 driver 3 - hardly anbody liked it. i thought it was ok, but one frustrating missin made me drop it completely. gta III - although i played it alot at a friends, i bought it after vice city, and thus never finished it. gta vice city stories - i was playing it simultaneously on the ps2 and psp, and never made it past 75% red dead revolver - bought it after gun, which i loved, and never really got in to it. the getaway - awesome, innovative game. i just never got past a couple of hours in. splinter cell - looked cool, and felt cool. i just never really cared. true crime streets of new york - actually wish i wouldn't have bought this one, but atleast beat it since i did. |

FFVII. My favorite game of all-time and I've never been able to beat it. I've been to the final battle countless times but I'm just not good enough at RPGs to make it through without dying. |

FFVII and Super Mario RPG I'm close in SMRPG. I didn't even get stuck i just stopped playing one day. i will get to it one of these days. I've beat all the other Mario RPG games except mario and luigi 2 though FFVII- played too late, hard to get into the battle system but the story line is one of the most compelling ever |

@Alxbly: Body Harvest is a beast. Still need it beaten for our Beats 'Em All event. Without sounding too insecure (I hope), I would feel better about myself as a gamer if I could beat all (or any) of the original Ninja Gaiden trilogy. I got to Stage 6-2 in the original, but that notorious stage just whipped me. |

@ Bluedogrulez Ha ha, Ninja Gaiden can be properly tough. I remember playing it on Xbox and it got to the stage where I just couldn't bring myself to pick to the controller again. I'm not sure the pain/reward balance is right.... but then I never seen the end so it might be IMMENSE! |

I played the NES version, could never beat it, but I did beat Ninja Gaiden 2 on xbox 360. Very hard game. I made the mistake of turning the final level into a drinking game. I would take a drink every time I died. Oh god was that a bad idea. I don't know how but I beat the game drunk. That last level is just stupid. First you fight a boss, when you win you fight another boss. After that you have to scale a erupting mountain, and... fight another boss. Then another boss shows up. ahhhh.... and after you kill him one of the other bosses shows up in his final form and you fight him. I am not making this up. I think I died about 200 times, spent 3 hours on it, and drank a 18 pack of Four Loko (very very VERY gross malt beverage). |

Oh hey, I finished Turok 2 after I posted my last msg (like 7 years ago 😂) Super Mario RPG - I got to the final boss and stopped playing after dying once. No idea why! Arc (I think that's what it was called. A PS2 RPG) Again, got to the final boss but was way to weak to beat it, and you can't go back and level up! I'll have to replay the whole game sometime. Its a great game so worth doing. Body Harvest... First started the game years ago and didn't even beat the first level. Started again a few years later taking it in turns playing with a mate, we made it as far as the 3rd level . Bloody brutal that game! The levels are huge and its so punishing at times. Super Mario Bros 3! Turok : Evolution I was enjoying this game, got a tiny bit stuck and stopped playing. Silly! Edited by D.J Cat, Jan 16 2016, 06:21 AM.

turok 2: gargantuan levels and a glitch in the save system makes this impossible to beat without cheats turok (ps3): the end boss kane is impossible to beat donkey kong 64: working on it. castlevania legacy of darkness: 4 campaigns, on the third one currently. this game is like beating 4 games in a row, each time a different quest. banjo kazooie: still not finished after all these years indiana jones (N64): too many levels which are too long and too difficult without a guide. will i ever beat it? shadow man: another game which i'd love to beat rogue squadron 1: the later levels are impossible goldeneye (PS3): trevelyan is impossible to beat final fantasy XIII: stuck at one of the summons |

I did once lose my data on Turok 2 way back in the day. However, not an impossible task, I beat it 6 years ago without any cheats. First 3 levels are achievable, 4 and 5 are tough. If you get through them, the Primagens Lightship shouldn't be too tough. And some more to add to the list... Hmm, I have a lot of gaming incompletes, what's up with that? Super Mario Sunshine - never got 120 Stars. I went back and replayed Galaxy and got 120 several years later. I should 're do Sunshine as well! Dem water effects! 💦💦💦 Rouge Squadron (N64) - yep, those last few levels. Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun - maybe I was too young when I first played this, and then getting Red Alert 2 and it was a far better game. Still, need to do better than like 5 levels in 😖 Edited by D.J Cat, Jan 17 2016, 09:56 AM.
