Advanced Member Posts: 62 Group: Member Member #201 Joined: March 26, 2009	My friend and I have a very odd variety of inside jokes: -Birdo (because it's just that freaking awesome) -Rainbows (yeah, believe it or not, it's not because of it's a sign of homosexuality or anything. It's something completely different) -Eggs -"Dramatic" things -Perfection -Diamonds -Bows -Rings -Funnels or tubes -Tebuet, my teddy bear from like, 13 years ago. -DK -DK (as a collective noun, referring to someone who does many tasks well (coming from Mario Hoops: 3-on-3, and this applies to Daisy, DK, Diddy, Dixie, Birdo, Yoshi, Boo)) -Coin collectors (coming from Bowser, as in Mario Hoops, he somehow can collect tons of coins without getting hurt. Anyone who can do this is a coin collector) -Sliding, jumping, falling, rolling, or reaching plays in Mario Superstar Baseball -"Taunts" (doing dramatic plays, timing along with animations (for example, in Sluggers when Yoshi scores a point, we time A in the replay when he hits the ball, and during his little taunt animation, we time it when he stops on his foot and yells happily), ect.) -"Serious" gameplay (not stopping in platformers (no matter what, even if in a game like Mega Man or Contra), dominating with characters considered the worst (if Toadette's one of the worst batters, why is almost every time I charge a homer, Superstar or not?), playing against the rules, ect.) -Characters being "mad" (getting giant amounts of points, being unstoppable, or getting a ton of small amounts of points in a very short time) -Our horrible laziness -"Well, I guess <thing> is never gonna happen, then!" (because we're horribly lazy) -Various odd fanfictions about Birdos and Yoshis (because birdettebirdetta, Yosha, Yosserine, ect. are amazing) -"birdettebirdetta", an odd username I came up with once. (there's also variations: birdettebirdette, birdettabirdetta, birdettabirdette) -Birdo's odd movement patterns in Mario Hoops: >When Birdo's walking, she always moves in a zig-zag pattern. >With a Super Mushroom, Birdo only moves in straight lines. >With a Poison Mushroom, Birdo moves in lazy, wavy lines. >With a Star, Birdo moves in Unpredictable patterns. (sometimes doing loops) >With items, Birdo moves normally. >When Birdo has the ball and we're waiting for the match to start or continue, I always tap the bottom right and left corners so Birdo spins around.

StYoung Forever Posts: 2,609 Group: God Member #17 Joined: July 13, 2006	I have a few inside jokes, the most notable being the word "douche f***" About a year ago, my friend was completely wasted and called a group us that name. It's been sort of the greatest insult ever since.

The most memorable ones are: -Beep (you know the sound that's played to cover up swearing on TV? that sort of beep) -75 (AFAIK it was the solution to some really hard math problem some time ago, but it kind of replaced 42 as the answer to life, the universe and everything since then)

Advanced Member Posts: 62 Group: Member Member #201 Joined: March 26, 2009	We also have: -"Platforming" in RPG games (running like hell, refusing to attack, and dashing to the end) -Platforming in 3D Zelda games (if you draw your sword, hold L, and press forward and A, you can jump. I use this alot. I also do a slash after jumping off of cliffs to extend my jump distance) -Hearts -Massive slide distances in Mario Superstar Baseball (Waluigi has an absolutely incredible slide distance. It's even greater than Magical Catch's range) -People throwing to each other with good chemistry -People throwing to each other with bad chemistry -Bowser in center field Edited by Nonoke, Mar 31 2009, 11:01 AM.

End All Sorrow Posts: 625 Group: Member Member #55 Joined: January 3, 2007	some of our jokes are "FC" which for people that dont play guitar hero or rock band means full combo which is 100% without breaking streak. it started in mall cop when he voxtars Detroit rock city and i shouted FC. we also whisper whiplash in each other ear because in the guitar hero comp i entered the song was whiplash i was first and someone whispered whiplash in my ear.
