Cooking is something I've gotten into this summer. I randomly post pictures of cakes on faceboook, of which only Stephen can currently see. Things I can make: Lasagna Chicken parmigiana Tiramisu (I did a cake version with expresso baked into one of the layers) Boston cream pie -- a bastardized version of it anyway Chocolate cake with peanut butter icing -- most fatting thing I've ever made Cheese cake -- and some variations of it And a few other things. I'm on the verge of a breakthrough with chicken parmigiana ravioli (!?!?!) and pomegranate & rosemary pork chops. |

I like baking! I used to be a chef but I'm far too lazy now... I occasionally do something a bit different but I generally prefer simple food; steaks, seafood, pasta. I luuuuvvvv tiramisu... so I may need to pay you a visit!

David's pictures do appear to be tasty. More N64ever members should join Facebook and join me in my drooling. I'm not very good at cooking, though. I'd love to learn how to make some good vegetarian dishes. Maybe I should look into some websites... Also, I thought you were a vegetarian David? |

No, I'm not. I was for a few years back in undergrad, before I lost all my youthful optimism though. Tiramisu is surprisingly not that hard. I tried it again over the weekend and it was almost perfect. I probably make more tonight actually. I also made Pennsylvania Dutch food over the weekend (ham bott boi), haha. |

I am a terrible chef. Like, really. I can cook toast, 2-minute noodles and fish fingers. That's it. Teach me. Make some tutorial videos and put them on YouTube. I'll watch. Do it. Also, I have Facebook. It's like MySpace for mature adolescents-adults. www.facebook.com/pridmore . You and Stephen add me. Edited by Franklint, Oct 8 2009, 06:08 AM.

I'm a huge fan of cooking, but I'm not too big on baking. However, there is a nifty little recipe I discovered a few months ago that's got me interested in baking. All you need to do is mix boiled pasta (any kind is fine), pumpkin, baby spinach and parmesan cheese in a large baking tray and let it bake for a couple of hours. Incredibly simple, and it's one of the nicest pasta bakes I've ever eaten.
