I've just started collecting the new series of Digimon cards: http://www.digimondatacarddass.com/Products.html I've just bought an entire box of the cards and I'm still missing out on some really rare cards like Wargreymon and Creepymon. Looks like I won't be buying a Nintendo 64DD anytime soon(not that my parents would let me anyway even if I had the money to spend on it). Anyway, is anyone else here a huge Digimon fan or a general card collector like me?

Dreamwalker Posts: 690 Group: Senior Members Member #286 Joined: March 17, 2010	This is what I think: Pokemon: Worse Anime, Better Handheld Games, Worse Console Games Digimon: Better Anime, Worse Handheld Games, Better Console Games I won't be comparing the manga because I haven't read either but there are many fans who agree that both the Digimon & Pokemon mangas are freaking great. Overall I think Digimon is better because I'm a huge fan of the anime and the console games (Digimon World, Rumble Arena).

I managed to find all 73 main cards in the series (bought the ones I was missing from a local seller but I'm still missing 9 Special Edition Promo cards) and I also just ordered Digimon World: Data Squad (PS2) for my PS3 (which I had no idea even existed until a few days ago).

Digimon only look kiddy when they are in their first 3 stages - Baby, In-training, and Rookie. Once they digivolve into Champions and above, they rarely look kiddy like Pokemon. In fact, there isn't a single pokemon that even looks remotely as cool as any of these Digimon.

They are all Mega level Digimon and Mega level Digimon usually have a humanoid shape. x.x In fact I'd say at least 33% of all Digimon have a humanoid shape.

I was hardcore with the pokemon cards, that is up until they were coming out with new decks like every week.. Another card game i remember were those Majic Cards. Again, i never got into this, but i remember my brother had a decent amount of them. -Corey
