^ I agree. We need more of your presence here!! :w00t: :w00t:

And back to the topic... I work in localization as a Quality Assurance lead. Which means, I basically organize/oversee linguistic testing of any software we translate (from any language into any language). SOMETIMES, that software includes video games. :yeah:

(To be completely honest though, game localization testing is an order of magnitude harder than that for any other kind of software.) >_<

now that's my nightmare job.
ive done my share of testing (hard to avoid if you're in software development) but like most programmers i know, i really really hate it. and we're not really any good at it either!
So thank you for taking that load off our shoulders :)

LOL!

Yeah... QA takes a bit of heart(lessness). X_D

It's not something I'm going to stick with forever, but for the time being, I can't complain. I believe in the company, the people I work with are all good people, and it pays my bills, and then some. ;) And in the current economy, that's more than enough to keep me here. Five years down the road... I hope to be elsewhere, if at least for the change in scenery.

Yeah, I do man, although if I'm being honest it's pretty rare that I actually use it for gaming. >_< I've cut my PS3 collection down to 7 games now and probably won't be playing any more Ps3 games until The Last Guardian.

Will find your username and add you as a friend though. :D

EDIT: I can't see your PS3 username in the online gaming topic... what (or where) is it?

No I'm not the sticker guy lol. I work 40 hours a week stocking shelves on overnights.
Dude, I did overnight stocking at my local Walmart back in the day, and let's just say I only lasted a month. I did not like it, nor did I ever see anybody.

I currently work full time at my local Whole Foods Market, doing Guest Services. I can't really complain.

I don't either, Ganondorf, but I do respect others' right to do so if they want to. I am a huge firearms buff, I just have never been in to hunting. A LOT of my friends are though. To each his own :)

I used to target shoot a lot when I lived in Oklahoma, just cans and bottles down by the Red River mainly. My guns (and other weapons) are there if I need them. They are the first thing I grab when things go "bump in the night." So I guess the best way to put it is that they are for personal protection ;)

All ive ever owned were BB guns lol. Me and my friend would just shoot cans, action figures, and pictures. We would try to shoot birds, but they were never powerfull enough :P

That same friend ended up moving to maine, and he owns a TON of guns now. We went out with a bunch of shotguns and just shot at anything and everything. Great for blowing steam!

Absolutely! Much like video games, target practice can help you vent.

I have always been interested in all forms of combat, both armed and unarmed. My love of guns is likely an extension of that. It is also probably inherited from past generations. My dad has dozens of guns, though he has only gone shooting one time  Most of them are limited edition collector type guns, but he has a decent collection of normal guns. My brother has close to 20 I believe. My grandpa was a WWII vet, and always had a couple of them around. He is who I always went shooting with. I miss getting to do that with him, and will always cherish those times now that he is gone.

I currently sit at home and play games all day...

I just left school last week, but I'm waiting until September to start a course in game development.

I also do some modding although thats more of a curiosity thing. At the moment I am putting Custom Songs into Rock Band 3 on the Xbox, but I also want to get around to learning a few SDKs aswell.
