Yesterday i picked up this butt-ugly Harry Potter themed controller by Thrustmaster as part of of a job lot. It's considerably larger than the original controller and not as comfortable to hold if you've got smallish hands like me. Still, it didnt really cost me anything and it's a nice addition to my collection. BTW: ive got a Pearl White PAL console (DOL-101) and an Indigo / Clear controller available for sale or trade. PM me if you're interested!

My orange spice controller randomly started moving to the right while playing Melee at my friends house... Anyone know how to fix the controller? I've had it for many years and it never did this before. I've tried everything without actually opening the controller, blowing in the slots, reseting the GC, using different slots, using different Gamecubes etc. I decided to get another GC controller and I found an official white one on ebay for $21 shipped, not bad. But I still hope I can get this one to work but I don't have the bits to open the controller up.

These controllers pop up from time to time. I really want one, but there is NO WAY I am going to fork out $100 on it.

I had multiple chances to get one for $50, and I passed. If another one came up for $50, I'd go for it now, but that's still way too much for this.

Yeah, 100 is a lot.

I spent 80 on the clear one, but got a refund because the R button was broken.

So yeah. 46 for emerald blue.

I got lucky, the emerald blue controller i won for 46 w free shippimg, it ended on a sunday morning and had a 30 day ship time which is probably why no one tried to beat me. It went completely un challenged. I may sell later for profit. I almost won the pearl white one that just sold from the uk, but just missed it.

The clear one i have sucks as a tournament controller, heh. I may end up selling it eventually. I use my fleet of orange controllers for tournament right now.

I might work on finishing my snes collection before i get another cube controller.

If it was me, I wouldn't use a $40-$80 GameCube controller daily, and especially not for any tournaments.

A lot of people wonder why I would spend $50ish on a controller that just sits on display and never gets touched, but I would rather keep it MINT and be able to sell it later, for the same price (or more), than to have a rare controller that is used and shows it.

To each, their own, but I don't understand why people would get something like some of the promo N64 controllers, or the RARE GCN controllers, and use them, especially how some of these kids destroy them. Why not just use a regular, dime-a-dozen first party controller?

I'm selling a clear controller in very good condition if anyone is interested. When I recieved it, the r button didn't work, but I was able to fix it. If this helps your collection then this could be for you.

Here are my four platinum WaveBirds.

I've refurbished them so they're nearly mint. Thats why I keep them in plastic bags.

Here's the grey one I mostly use when I play F-Zero GX.

Nice Platinum Wavebirds!

As much as I like the Platinum color, I don't like how it wears off of the controllers. Which is why I prefer the stadard grey ones.

The one on the left is my main controller. It's been through MANY hours of Smash Bros. Melee, and Brawl. The two that are bagged are pratically brand new, and have no wear on them. They are my back ups, since Wavebirds have shot up in price. The three Platinum ones are the remaining three that are used when friends come over.

For some reason I prefer the flat Gray, since it's exclusive to the Wavebird.

Although, it would have been awesome to see Jet, Indigo and Spice colored Wavebirds.

Can anyone tell me if the ASCII keytroller can actually be used as a real keyboard on a computer or only on the gamecube? If it can be used on a computer it'd be perfect for emulation.

Yoshi of Earth,

They make GameCube to USB adapters, so it might work. I tried to figure out how to hook it up to the Wii, so I could brouse faster, instead of having to point and click every letter of a website, but I have no clue how to make it work.

scooter77,

That is a decent deal on the Mario Club Nintendo controller. There is a Luigi one and a Wario one. They all can pretty easily be found on ebay. Mario and Luigi are listed all the time around $100, and Wario spiked in price, because I believe there were a lot less of that one made. I think it's between $175-$220, last time I checked.

I didn't click on the video, but I can tell it's lithium017's video.
