This seems reminiscent of one holiday season 3 or 4 years ago where both the Xbox and PS2 were in short supply in the US.

Really enjoying Endless Ocean just now, it's one more reason that I need to own a Wii. I think I'm gonna try to celebrate my Wii's first birthday by getting it online. The Nintendo bluetooth thingy never worked for me, but I've seen a wireless router that's Wii, 360 and PS3 compatible... so I think I'm gonna take the plunge into online console gaming. Finally. ^_^

I borrowed Twilight Princess from a friend. Way to implement decent camera controls Nintendo :( I'll keep going, but I may return it to him and insist that he buy the Gamecube version so that I can borrow it and not return it instead.

I just ordered 4 yesterday. Didn't Nintendo say they would package Wiimotes with the jackets now? Because all the Wiimotes I've seen aren't packaged with the jackets.

It'll probably be a while before we see Wiimote Jackets packaged with the Wii. Anyone seen Wii Play packaged with a Wiimote jacket? That'll probably happen as well...

I've been using the Wiimote jackets for a while now and I quite like them. They make the Wiiimote a bit more comfortable... although it was pretty comfortable to begin with! ^_^

When I got me Wii, a jacket was already on the controller. So they are at least packaged with systems. No idea about controllers.

I never use mine.

It is just me, or have Wii's been going for more on ebay since they're been packaged with the jackets?

It's more likely to be due to xmas demand for the console.

^...And the Zelda Wii and DS too.

I was referring to the Zelda Wii and DS when I said that.

Yes... you popped my online Wii cherry! :-8

I sent you a Wii message too!

Now I need someone to give me their Animal Crossing DS friend code! I need to upgrade Nooks store so, so badly!

*thinks*

Hmmm. Maybe an "online gaming" topic would be worthwhile...

Shoot... yeah... damn. Haven't stuck that one into my DS in a good long while... 8 months now?! *shudders to think what the town might look like now*

... funny thing with the wireless we've got going on at my place is... is that it only works with the Wii. <_< My DS can't connect. >_<

That's a huge flaw in the gameplay of AC. Sure, it encourages you to play often but if you forget for a few months then your game is basically screwed. I went back to GCN Animal Crossing after a year of neglect... I spent hours just picking up weeds. :(

And that's no fun at all.

Shame on Nintendo. >_>

Heh... *thinks about that recent animal crossing weed-picking vid* >_< ;_; >_<

... maybe I'll just set my DS system date back to last march sometime when I think I last played... and "play" it every other day/week. <_>

... errr... maybe not. <_<

 I hadn't seen that before. The weed thing is crap, essentially it makes the game unplayable after a while, unless you play regularly. Reminds me of that Gamecube launch game that I've forgotten the name of...

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!!! Yeah, it was a piece of crap. One of the missions was to collect rubbish... which is just as dull as pulling weeds. :(

Wow... picking up garbage?!? That sounds like a blast!! >_<

Hey... let's just time ourselves how fast we can clean up our rooms/houses/flats, then mess it up again, and then try to beat that record!! :w00t: :w00t:

I'll never understand this wierd obsession with Animal Crossing. Then again, I've never been into those type of games. I remember playing The Sims for the sole purpose of getting two sims into bed.

Ahhh...memories.

There's one thing about the Wii that I hate... The fact that you have to go through the damn Wii menu every time to play a game. It's even more annoying to get to a Gamecube game, because you have to go through the menu using the Wiimote before you can play.

I like the Wii's menu. It makes all sorts of "DING-A-LING" sounds! I don't like that message before every game about using the wrist strap though.

In fact, I removed the condom Wiimote cover and the strap from my controller, just to spite that screen.

I absolutely HATE that message! I actually don't even use the wrist strap on my wiimote. It's just a pain in the ass and gets in the way of things. Besides, I never drop the remote ever. I mean who does? Some loser with anger management problems?

Actually, we tend to throw the Wiimote -- usually at people.

Actually, I once did intentionally hit someone with a Wiimote once. Good times.
