What do you guys like doing other than video games?

filming/editing video, which I'm planning on going to school for
photography
snowboarding
tennis and running, I got into the habit of running 3 miles in under 30 mins every other day and plan on making it almost every day, I like it.
music, I play guitar for church, also play saxophone, can play piano, I always wanted to play drums but they're too expensive :(
working on cars, driving (hate gas prices...)
I spend more time on the internet than playing video games I think, mostly watching YouTube videos or something.

Since the birth of my baby girl 2 months ago, I haven't had a lot of time to do anything hobby wise.

Other stuff I am in to:

Watching funny videos on youtube

Collecting weapons - I have 130+ edged weapons, 5 guns, 8 pairs of nunchakus, & other various weapons

Browsing wikipedia

I teach MMA on the weekends

I do some gun smithing (never been payed, just do it for friends)

I watch a lot of movies - I have 441 dvd's

Reading - currently reading Assassins Creed Renaissance. I also love Tolkien books & the Bible. I have read a lot of Martial Arts books.

I enjoy drawing and graphic arts, though as of late I have done nothing.

I enjoy going on nature walks in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Knife making - been working on one for about a year now, I pick it up every few months.

I watch a lot of college football, and follow college basketball a bit too.

I enjoy learning about history,

I guess that is about it ;)

The premise is very simple: You take a ping pong ball and slam it on an 8x2 table so it lands into a cup on the opposite side of the table in a single bounce. Sounds easy enough, but there's another trick to it: You're not supposed to wash your hands after touching everything all day and rub your fingers on the ball and let it hit the dirty table with potato chip crumbs and pieces of skin from next to your finger nails on it. Then the other guy smears the grime off his fingers after touching everything in sight as well. You don't know where his hands have been- and quite frankly, you don't wanna know. So after molesting the ball with your diseases, you let it bounce into a liquid in which you will soon drink. Now all that funk from the ball is contaminating your drink, which under the code of peer pressure, you must imbibe. If you thought you would be sick from the alcohol the next morning, just wait until you start getting sores in your lips, gums, cheeks, and throat. Spread that bacteria!!

Wow, I am so sorry I asked

That is way worse than anything I would have guessed.
I don't drink anyways, but I would have to cross that one off my list of things to do even if I did!

eewwww.... thats just gross. i always thought you Yanks were all mildly obsessed about cooties, germs and bacteria but i guess i was wrong.
Why make such a lovely table, which must have taken a considerable amount of thought, time & effort, for such a barbaric ritual? the mind boggles...

No joke!

It just isn't me. I have been buzzed one time, and very drunk one time. I have had alcohol maybe 4 or 5 times in my whole life. Most of the people who I could not stand in high school drank, so I think that helped drive me from it ;)

I use the table for other things (including making many of my videos as I present my collection on it) but yes - it is used nearly every other day for beer pong and or flip cup. You wash the ball very often however there is no question the game can be germ filled. Play with only healthy people that you trust!

There is a video of the table on youtube where I discuss it at length of how I made it. If you want more information you can just google "SMB3 Beer Pong" and a lot of articles come up about me (it was featured on Kotaku).

It took me well over 100 hours to make and I really enjoy making the tables, but making this one the way I did is a one time thing. I have been constructing massive 6 by 2 foot files on photoshop of other characters like megaman, dk, and sonic.

I've got tons of hobbies but sadly not enough money to support them all. :-8

One of my hobbies is collecting figures. Here are just a couple:

Posted Image
^ This my Ultraman Ace. I used to watch the Japanese show Ultraman as a kid and fell in love with this version when I started doing research.

Posted Image
^ You're looking at a Zio Matrix ZCL-XA/2 figure from the intro to the Playstation 2 game Armored Core 2. Last I heard these were selling for over $200 and I paid less than $20 when it was first released. :w00t:

Nice! Yeah Armored Core is a very addictive so people who play the game tend to become obsessed with the figures too. Here's another from my collection.

Heres a beer pong revelation that will change your life:

Fill the cups up with water. Drink your beer when the other team makes a shot. If you lose, chug the rest of your beer.

And that table is sweet.
