While lurking on the GameFAQs N64 board awhile ago I saw a link leading to a 3rd party controller that had the Analog stick and D-pad right next to each other and wasn't the Hori mini controller. The descriptions pretty vague I know, but it's hard to explain. If anyone has any info on it could you please post it?

Yup, that's the one I was think about. Thanks. :)

I semi-remembered that it was called the SuperPad, but my brothers friend is sleeping over right now and brought the 3-pronged version with him so I thought thats why I came up with the name. It feels pretty alright, but the top of the analog stick is broke off, so I can't say much about that.

Pictures and more detail would be great, floorcat, though the stuff you already posted is really informative. Once again, thanks.

I always, um...not really liked or disliked...I guess...was somehow attracted to...how the left prong would always be all cold feeling if you were using the analog stick, or vice-versa if you were using the gay-pad.

Damn... poo on that seller. It's like the equivalent of bringing the Ebola virus to international shores or something. :unsure:

I'd much rather have my insides turn to soup than mistakenly purchase a rip-off controller off of eBay.

The Dualshock/2 has two analog sticks of equal size.
The Dualshock/2 has built-in rumble.
The Dualshock/2 has a bunch of buttons, including four should buttons and two pushable analog sticks.
The Dualshock/2 is pretty comfortable.

But alas, the Dualshock/2 does not have "Nintendo" written on it.

A agree with alxbly about the GCN controller. It is the most comfortable controller ever though. And the Wavebird :wub:

I actually broke my Wavebird a couple months ago. ;_;

I know... SERIOUSLY... at least with Ebola you don't have to pay anything... >_<

And, uh, you end up looking like a pretty badass zombie. Bleeding eyes are always cool!

I prefer the non-aligned analog sticks. It makes it easier to use, plus it puts the analog stick in the main part of the controller where it belongs since its used much more than the D-pad. The Gamecube's Crap-stick is terrible though. The Xbox S/360 got the non-aligned analog setup down good.

Well, you have to take in account that its a used controller, and is no where near the technical marvel that newer controllers are.

Also, consider that fact that regular N64 controllers were sold for $8 at Rhino before the chain was bought out by GameStop.
