So I decided I would try to make my own cardboard insert that goes inside the controler boxes.

Before you guys pick it apart let me first - I think if I wouldve started with a piece of cardboard that was flat it wouldve been easier to make the creases work. Also I know the oval and circle shaped holes are switched. Also the cardboard was a little bit thicker than the one that Nintendo used. Also it looks like :cussfit: but it does the intended job.

Also I do not intend to sell a controller with one of these but if I did I would make sure to tell the buyer.

So what do you guys think????

Finngamer please create a really good controller database;-)
You did know about my website, right?

http://finngamer.webs.com/nintendo64info.htm

Or is there something that's missing from it? I guess the pictures could be more in-depth, but other than that I don't know how to develop it.
That's the first time ive been to your website. Very thorough! Well done!

i agree with ddr2nite on this; these stickers were not used by Nintendo.
Looks like the kind of sticker used by sellers of fake sunglasses and handbags.
That's what I figured. I just thought I would ask before I removed a possibly "stupidly rare original" sticker haha. Thanks for the help guys!! :yeah:

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing that controller boxed on eBay a few months back
that would be cool to clear that up, I asked the seller and bought it from another collectors thus not knowing if it came boxed or not
I found this link to a boxed ea sports controller auction that ended

Now if I only had A M2000............
You should try contacting the user "RsTheJuice401" (he's not on our forums) who has a YouTube channel. From the looks of his videos, he has about 3 or 4 Millennium 2000 controllers. I have no idea where he got all of them from, but one of his videos from 2012 seems to show that he got them all in 1 package somehow and it also included about 3 or 4 DK64 controllers. Not sure if he's willing to sell one, but he's definitely got several in his collection. He seems a bit like a hoarder to me <_<
How would you suggest I try to contact him? I commented on one of his videos. Is there a better way to do it?

So the link posted in the ebay topic for the hello mac controller got me thinking... those super rare jap controller aren't very attractive.

I have the three Nintendo Power Controllers and am super proud of it. They look bad :cussfit: . DK has the banana tips and the DK painted logo, NP100 has the beautiful gold paint and the raised NP100 label and the M2000 has the ever so sexy black buttons and bottom with that wonderful M2000 logo. Even people who aren't N64 collectors can recognize that they are special.

The super rare Jap controllers arent great looking. It seems like they could have been way more creative when designing these controllers. They look like somebody put together two different controllers and then put a sticker on them.

I don't currently collect Jap controllers(I'm sure that will eventually change) but if I did I would buy the Hello Mac and the Geoffrey last. Not because they're expensive.....because they're boring. For me it would be like buying the car I like in a color that's just....ok

So ill finish with a question...For those of you who own a hello mac or a Geoffrey: Did you buy it/them because they're rare and you needed it for your collection? Or did you buy it because you liked it?

I hate N64 controllers. They are so ugly. I'm going to burn every single one of them and melt it into a giant pile of smoking, toxic plastic.

Just wondering if anyone has any info on this controller?

http://akiba-games.com/catalog/product/view/id/26524#!prettyPhoto

That green Joycard controller was a special controller made by Hudson. 1000 winners were chosen by drawing to win this special "Green Skeleton" controller. It allowed you to play special battle modes in Bomberman 64. But it only worked in the JAP version of Bomberman 64.

Ive never actually seen it work but I remember hearing about it once.

Anybody have the green joycard and jap bomberman so we can try it out?

Looking to buy black N64 buttons like on the Millennium controller. I think they would look badass on an Ice Blue controller. PM me if anyone can do this please
Im pretty sure nobody makes them. You could take apart a crappy controller and paint the buttons.

Does anybody know which issues of Nintendo Power Magazine advertised the promo controllers? Im interested in buying those magazines and maybe doing some kind of display with the insert and the controller.

I have one issue of NP Magazine that happened to have the DK one. If there are any others please let me know

This is the one I found

just bought a hello mac for 500! looks like its in good shape, the last one sold for like 410 and had deep scratches do you guys think it was a good deal??
 :yeah: :dk: That seems like a fair price. That last one was pretty scratched up so 500 for one in good condition seems alright to me. When do you recieve it?
