I've been trying real hard to gather information on officially released clothing by Nintendo, notably prior to 2000, there seems to be no catalog of it online so we must start one gamers! Something always pops up on eBay from time to time that I had no idea it existed, and is such a great addition to Nintendo nostalgia. *Please post pictures and give some background on any such items you may own. Especially promotional items like hats, shirts, pins, badges, jackets, etc! I would love to see them brought out, thanks! IMPORTANT EDIT: NO ITEMS 2005+! SAVE NEWER MERCHANDISE FOR WAAAAY LATER! -So to start, this is what i'm looking around for, does anybody know anything about this item? ![]() Edited by TNT737373, Jul 30 2011, 12:51 PM.

Feel free to bump this sure, I'll be looking forward to seeing your stuff! As for my question, I guess I'll rephrase it, lol.... "Does anybody know the background behind this item (N64 hat), or its year of release?" |

Do you REALLY want me to bore you with all the pictures i've got of my N64 clothing collection? All the hats, shirts, beanies, etc etc?? That is the Kelloggs N64 cap if I am correct? Released sometime 1998/1999. I think it was a 'collect tokens' sort of item from the packs of cereals?

Omg Ninty64 your collection is beautiful. Out of curiosity, do you guys(the ones with large N64 collections) have large collections of other video game stuff from other companies too? (e.g. Sony, Microsoft, Sega, etc.) Because I'd love to see a large PlayStation collection haha. |

not really... i have some other loves (Sega, other handhelds) but im first and foremost a Nintendo fanboy. And there is a LOT of Ninty stuff out there! Sega? Not so much except a few Sonics here & there. So i like Nintendo the most and you tend to find much more Nintendo junk... double whammy! |

The BK one was a real one off. I'd never seen one before and I've never seen one since. It was from the States. The beanie one was the same, they just never turn up now. Both from ebay. Of my caps, this one is my pride and joy. My absolute favourite. I've never seen another one, ever! ![]()

Cap from Nintendo's "Play it Loud" advertising campaign from the early 90's. (The commercials where they were all up in your face, and the kids acted real hardcore about Nintendo, lol) I used this giant stuffed penguin to model the hat because it just fits perfectly..

i like that one the best too (and the Scarface pose!)... sadly they only had one left, size XXL and iīm a small Medium at best What's really amazing and solid proof that Nintendo has gone totally mainstream is that i got all of them except the last one right here at my local C & A (*). And not in the childrenīs department but in adult sizes!!! I was shopping for some jeans when i heard someone say "hey look, a Mario shirt!" and then i discovered they had a whole line of different Nintendo designs, all nicely licensed, reasonable quality and not too dear (12 euro each). I could not resist the temptation. Actually they had even more designs but these were the best. (*) for our non-European readers: C & A aka Cheap & Awful is not really trendy but a rather boring and family oriented clothing store. Edited by Mk II, Aug 27 2011, 08:54 AM.
