topic says it all really... plz help me identify these action figures. they're about 2", heads and arms are detachable / interchangeable and they are copyrighted "I / N Takara Hasbro 2001".
They look very Battle Beast-like but they're not as far as i know. Any help or hints highly appreciated! BTW: i think the right-most figure does not have the correct arm(s).

Also found these two very collectable Hasbro Galactic Heroes, Jango Fett and Anakin Skywalker, and a beautiful 8" Jazwares Megaman "Bass" action figure thats badly damaged (rocket arm missing!). All the above and some other bits for just 2 euro :)

Medabots! I can't give you a name for those particular Medabots though because they don't really have a name haha. (It's kinda hard to explain but long story short, the Medabot's character is determined by the Medal placed in their bodies and not their outward appearance.)

EDIT: Mk II, every time you post one of these threads, It's almost guaranteed that a huge wave of nostalgia is going to hit me hard...

it's good, innit? i must admit that i've developed another addiction with these kind of figures. And the number of ranges and characters is unbelievably huge.
the nice thing is that i can rummage thru boxes with junk (i love that!) and i often pick up some surprising finds for next to no money.
finding games i dont have is getting bloody hard and a lot more expensive.

EDIT: yup, they are Medabots; i've identified one of the arms that dont fit on another figure :)
The left one with the knives is called Nin-Ninja and the other one has the body of Warbandit but the wrong torso, head and arms!

True! :P

Anyway, Medabots is still popular nowadays (especially in Japan) even though the anime ended like a decade ago.

There's a pretty recent Medabots DS game that came out last year: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-9g-49-en-70-3soc.html

As well as some new model kits like this one that came out just a while back: http://www.play-asia.com/Medarot_DS_16_Fine_Scale_Plastic_Model_Kit_KBT10M_Gunknows/paOS-13-71-12q-49-en-70-4a11.html

I'm still waiting for the Medabots DS game to get an English translation but something tells me that will never happen... :(

i've got a Medabots game for the GBA, bought in a large job lot, never played it TBH.
I always assumed it was just a cheap-ass Pokemon rip-off; i'm only beginning to get a bit more educated about Japanese toys / anime.

Anyway, thanks for answering my question - i knew one of you guys would come through with the info i needed, excellent!
