Thinking about visiting Denmark

Things are getting strange here in the United States so my wife and I are thinking about an extended stay in Northern Europe. Right now a month long trip to Denmark sounds nice; any suggestions on where to stay at a relatively reasonable price?

If it should be south denmark, it would be close enough to visit me on a day trip :D
I can't give you advice, though, as i've only been there when i was younger...

You're in Germany, right? I've always wanted to visit as that's where some of my family roots go back to.

I feel as if God himself is calling me to Northern Europe so that's why I'm starting to ask around for advice. Of course, my wife says she wants to go somewhere warm like Las Vegas or South Florida.

Grizz, have you been to the UK? I can't offer you Florida temperatures but can offer you some great tourist attractions! :-)

what about a trip Berlin - Hamburg - Copenhagen :-D ?

But if you like it warm, the only possibility to come to middle or northern europe would be in summer...

I went to Ireland once and it was only about 50 degrees in June which felt rather chilly. The countryside was spectacular, though.
