It's a few months since I bought a N64 game (I think the last time was in April...). The last ones were San Fransisco Rush and San Fransisco Rush 2049.

I like it, it's definitely one of the N64's better motor racing games. I've spent ages just looking for shortcuts and jumps hidden around the tracks, trying to shave a few seconds off here and there. I wish I'd bought it when it was first released but I think some magzine review put me off... that or I didn't have the cash to spare.

:(

Got the Japanese verion of Super Mario 64. It's not the 'rumble version' though...

Cool, you'll have to let me know what it's like. Dr Mario never got released in Europe, so I've not played it. :(

Have you been raging at Sin & Punishment thes past few days?

Not really. I had a quick go, but my red N64 is now under the bed in an airtight plastic storage box. My PAL N64 is out in it's place and I've been playing Banjo Tooie and Jet Force Gemini. S&P looks pretty good though.

Oh, had my first real session with Ogre Battle before my import N64 got packed up... hmmm... not sure about that game at all.

No, my friend. What I mean is that I simply don't have the room to have both N64's out. The actual packaging for the red N64 is hidden away to make sure it stay in goood condition, but I have the console and controller under my bed so I can use it whenever I want. ^_^

Just won a game off ebay: Stunt Racer 64. I quite excited about finding it for two reasons:

1) It's pretty rare (a rental only US title) ^_^

&

2) It's made by the same development team that made World Driver Championship (my favorite N64 motor racing game)! :D

Sweet! I'll post some screens, etc, when it arrives. :D :D :D

Yeah, it never got released outisde of the US (and there it was a rental only title).

And it's "release". :)

Isn't MK Mythologies a bit like Streets of Rage: walk along, fight, find item, fight, find door, fight, walk some more, fight some more...

You get the picture.

It's not a game, but I'm posting it anyway! I just won a stupid controller on stupid ebay. It was one of those auctions that was going cheap so I bid, expecting to be outbid, but then won it. Anyway, it looks kinda strange:

I will, of course, let you know how it plays and any other quirky stuff about it.

No, but it looks kinda big. I'll post some photos comparing it to the official controller when it arrives. :) The thing that intereested me was the stick; it's removable! So I'm wondering if it'll have full analogue control or whether it just connects to a D-pad.

Looks like a D-pad to me...

I've not played much Hexen. Should I give it another chance? I'm ashamed to say that I got bored when I'd played for about thirty minutes without finding a gun. I don't even know if it has guns...

Cool, that one seems more flexible than mine. It sounds more like a flight stick than an arcade stick, but that's no bad thing; they're useable on more games.

I'll wait for your review before I decide to invest, as I suspect international shipping is gonna be expensive. It usually is...

Nice one. Is there any differences between the demo and the normal version of the game, apart from the labels on the cart, etc?

Yeah , first you get to see a small note about that it is a demo version and that the blood and gore is removed.

Oh. So, how does that work with the Cerebral Bore (the goriest weapon of all time  ) or is it removed from the demo version?

Ah well, it's still a nice collectors item that you found. Did it set you back much?

That's still pretty good for a demo cart. I've not seen one on ebay for quite a while.
