Just curious to know how you all display your n64 carts, or keep them in a way where you can easily navigate through them. |

I've just started to buy modular drawers made by Sterilite. The carts move around a lot but will be more stable when I get each drawer filled up. |

Decent, how do you go through them if they're all blank on the tops? |

ive got loads of plastic storage boxes for my carts, i store my game boxes in larger plastic boxes in the attic and my manuals in binders (i think thats what they are called in English). Only snag is that always when i need more boxes, i can never find the exact same model again. And this method is NOT convenient if you need to find a particular game... Damn you Nintendo for not featuring spine labels on SNES and N64 carts! |

I LOVE the logo on top! Mine are white but pretty much the same idea. As for finding a game, I just hunt for whatever I'm looking for. Mine are alphabetized.

Have them sorted by tiers of quality.. lol. Best games on top, sequels and other good games in the middle, and on the bottom mediocre sports/platform/puzzle/racing titles. But still even divided in the shelves I don't want to label them, digging through all the carts forces you to pick up and see the other games you have, I tend to forget so it's almost like a surprise every time I go to this thing, ha. I store mine on a shelf with the accessories near by. I'm actually moving all my stuff into another room, so in a day or two I can take another picture. I made up my own end labels (which I can email to anyone upon request), and that helps me find the games. It's all alphabetical too. The bookcase can hold 294 carts, so I'm going to get another bookcase just like it and park them side by side. The N64 games will take up the first three rows of each case, and the lower ones will be for when I start buying for other systems. If you want to see a clearer image of the labels, just let me know.

That's cool, are the labels just for the spine of them, or do you just print out the entire box art? |

I made labels for the spines that are based on the box art. The boxes at the top are the real deal. I don't collect CIB games, but when I can get them, I never pass them up. I'm just trying to get carts primarily. If I have carts with damaged front labels, I jut print 'em off and stick them on with label paper. |

that's awesome. yea i'm just collecting carts for now as well, i'm a fairly new collector and I only have around 20 carts. i only have like 10 CIB games which were from my childhood, so theyre the only ones i really care to have boxes for. where do you find the labels btw? |

Private message me about them and you'll receive a link with all 296 labels I made, along with instructions on how to apply them (sticker paper). Of course you could just scotch tape them on if you want to use regular printer paper. That's perfectly fine and looks just as nice. |

I too keep mine in a sterilite drawer, in the middle.![]() Just reached 36 carts last week, so that fills up 2 rows, so the next n64 game I get is gonna have to invade the genesis row or go vertical next to it lol also the bottom drawer is ALL genesis games ![]() Edited by EddieJ1984, Feb 28 2012, 11:07 PM.

All my carts live in three CD boxes like this (though I'll soon need a forth as my current setup is bursting at the seams!): http://www.bpallen.com/b2b/pics/CD_Box.jpg 2 boxes are silver, one for imports and doublers, and the other for my top rated games that aren't already in the other silver box. The third cream box houses the games that are perhaps not so great, though it's quite common for games to be demoted/promoted to/from the cream box. There's no end labels either, I just remove one cart then flick them back as you might do when looking through a box of CDs. I've always stored them in either a CD or shoe box, and have come to love the noise of the carts colliding as I flick through them. Adds a bit of ceremony to the occasion, just finding the game is an event. You are also forced to see the front sticker of each game, rather than lifeless text on the spine. Method in the madness, as they say.

Yep, that is what I'm going for eventually. I just don't think you can beat those for loose carts. |
