Welcome. I used to (haven't done it much recently) buy from Yahoo Japan Auctions. I've also purchased from MBok once as well. I use a service called Rinkya, who works very well but they are not cheap to help my bid/buy from those Japan sites and importing into the US.

I had a good experience with Play-asia.com. Reasonable shipping Japan to USA. I've also had maybe 5-10 transactions with Japanese sellers on eBay (USA site) and all went swimmingly with respect to shipping time and shipping fees.

ya play asia is good, but what im specifically referring to is a company that will bid on things for you on japan only auction sites, then ship them to north america. they just act as the middle man. theres similar companies in the US who can get things from amazon.com to canada since we are stuck with amazon.ca :(
