The Kid Icarus Uprising AR Cards are really lovely and highly collectable for Nintendo junkies like myself.
I've got 30 at the moment and 60 more on order from Club Nintendo. If anyone wants to sell or trade send me a PM.

that is my collection database. MySQL database, interactive web-based front-end built with PHP, AJAX and CSS3 and hosted on a local Apache webserver.
I'm trying to put everything in my video game collection into this database; games, consoles, strategy guides, soundtracks, magazines etc etc etc.
Currently working on adding all my pins & buttons, plushies & figurines are set to follow.
At some level, you need something like this just to keep track of what you actually own...

I would probably read it, too! I have a whole bunch of books on things like MySQL, PowerShell, you name it. But the bad thing is, I never have the time to apply any of it for my own usage :-/

The thing is to start with every small steps, dont expect to make something amazing immediately as those first steps are the hardest.
learn some basic PHP to generate simple pages and build a small database, something like a Contact List or your CD collection.
The net is filled with examples of that sort of thing.
You should be able to write your own MySQL queries after studying those examples for 1 or 2 hours.
It really is VERY simple, i had to learn it "on the job", maintaining & expanding existing production code and i managed just fine :)

And i can tell you that being able to program your computer is very rewarding in itself, never mind all the lovely things you can make it do.

I'd love to collect all these cards but unfortunately I already earn little enough being a part-time eBay seller in Singapore. I hope somebody uploads scans of all 60 cards so I can just use them from my computer screen hehe. :phear:

there are already more than 440 Kid Icarus cards as far as i know.
getting them all will be nigh impossible, not helped by the fact that they are different across the regions.

Already seeing some crazy prices on eBay but i reckon those will bottom out when more cards are available.
Nintendo is thinking about selling them in shops, just like the Pokemon trading cards and that would be awesome.
I'd buy at least one pack every day!

Anyway, here are two cards to get you started :)
BTW: ive noticed the 3DS AR scanner is triggered by the lower part of the cards... that swirly colour pattern on the left is different on each card. im sure thats the key

I got a couple of these free from Club Nintendo & Nintendo Power. These card are exciting and I could see them becoming a big craze if they make them for more games...

Holy cow... I must've misread your first post because I thought there were only 60. >_<
I guess I can pretty much give up on collecting every single card now.

I'm assuming the AR cards only work in the Kid Icarus game and not on the 3DS's AR option right?

Great link! I don't own the game but sepent 250 stars on 12 cards from Club Nintendo UK. A real good deal too. I never thought the AR cards would take of the way that they did. I am looking forward to the Wii U for these features, if they hold the interest of the GP.

I got 3 from Nintendo power: Medusa (Battle), God of Death, Thanotos, & Poseidon. Since I need money and don't have a 3DS I sold them on ebay for $20.
