So I just got a huge lot in from eBay today (about 100 n64 items), and almost everything smells of cigarette smoke. Anyone know good ways to (permanently, or at least for a while) remove the smell? Any type of sprays?

Watch Lithium's video "Collecting Tips 101: Tip #11 Ask Questions When Buying Items" as he discusses items that have smokey smells.

Dryer sheets work wonders, and I've been told kitty litter (but I haven't tried that one).

I've had this happen as well. I just wipe everything down very good with a warm damp cloth and leave it exposed for a couple days. The smell went away and never came back. :)

I received a guide book, that came shrink wrapped from a seller in London. The whole package stank of African food! To the high heavens! In the end I just decided to take off the shrink wrapping hoping the smell would go in the bin with it, but it didn't. My whole collection corner now smells like yam yams and spiced chick peas!

Oh well, it was only a fiver!
Keep it secret, keep it safe... :phear:
