I do feel a little gutted, I have not missed a Nintendo launch since the NES/SNES. The retailers in the UK are all over the place with the price. I think I will have to wait till January/Febuary and then get one. I feel the console is over priced. I know lots of fanboys have fighting over the graphics and specs but te price is too high for whats in the box. I know the controller is not cheap to make but that still uses old tech too. When I bought my Wii I knew I was getting a low spec machine and all of the issues that would bring. I would be ok with that again but the price is too high. I feel. That being said I will get one ASAP but feel a little bit ripped off. Really want to play Zombiu and Rayman

I'm gonna buy the Wii U, but not at launch. I got birthday and Christmas gifts to buy first. I also want to finally upgrade to an HDTV before I get the Wii U. I'll probably try to get one after Christmas. I'm fine with the price. It's only about $50 higher than what I thought it would be. Besides, I already see a lot of games I really want to play. |

That was my plan but...You know you have a problem when after a rant you pre order it anyway. My Mother was pre ordering her Black Wii U and I cracked! Still, I think it is a bit over priced but HD 1st party titles and ZombiU were enough. I ordered the ZombiU set from HMV in the UK. I noticed that they are still showing Nintendo Land as part of the bundle. Which is does not come with! Game were doing the same but just checked and they had updated and removed it from the ZombiU bundle. HMV have not though. Still took screen grabs and I will try my luck. James defo go for your TV Upgrade first though I could not deal with that, like driving a lambo with speed limted to 30. When I swa how dreadfull the PS3/XBOX 360 ran in SD I decided to upgrade my TV first. Edited by Vekoma64, Sep 16 2012, 04:41 PM.

Yeah, between having problems with my current TV working properly and wanting a Wii U, I decided that I'd upgrade to HD. Like you said, the only way to truly experience HD gaming is with an HDTV. |

I was really looking forward to ME 3 on Wii U. Until I realized that even with an HD console, Nintendo still gets the shaft from publishers. http://masseffect.com/about/trilogy/ I totally understand not being able to include ME1 and ME2 due to porting work for the Wii U Gamepad and all. But, this bit of news really kills the Wii U version. |
