Annual Club Nintendo Year N64 Gaming Challenge! To celebrate our forum, we discussed ideas in the 1000 Members discussion thread. Several of us thought it would be a good idea to follow nintenod Age's idea of trying to beat as many games as possible in 1 year - but let's put our own spin on it and do it in 1 Club Nintendo year. The goal will be to complete as many games as possible before midnight on June 30th, 2013. We can include any games already completed this Club Nintendo year by members, just take a screenshot / post it. Rules: 1.Only 1 Game can be 'Claimed' per person at a time - multiple people are free to beat the same game if desired but first person to claim it, gets it (please check previous posts to make sure the game is not already claimed after an update post from me) 2.Difficulty level does not matter 3.Sports games are to be beaten via a championship, or state what you completed 4.Some games have no actual ending so state what you challenged yourself to do to "complete" the game 5.Beating the final boss (if there is one) is mandatory - 100% completion is not required, but welcomed 6.After you beat the game, take a screen shot of the ending credits (this needs to be the actual end credits and not taken via the home menu option to go to the credits) 7.Post the picture and try to include how long it took you to beat the game (actual duration in approximate hours, as well as length of time Ex. 2 weeks, a month, etc.), what you completed (final boss, 100% etc), and your personal enjoyment level 8.I will update the list of completed games alphabetically once a week or so via a comment, and games that are completed will be shown in a different color NEW!! Achievement Levels: E3 Gold Level: 15 or more games completed--Highlander(34), Majora's Mask(22) NP100 Gold Level: 10-14 game completed: --Heinrold(13), bluedogrulez(12) T.R.U. Gold Level: 5-9 games completed: --Omnert (9), SicCooper(6), Spidercolt(5), Randomgeek(5) Silver Level: 2-4 games completed: --Clarky_N64(4), macN64(4), Slowbird(3), James92(2), Gooman130(3), DeeMoney(3), Alice Lawless(2), acomicbookguyyc(2), TNT737373(2), buddy1983(2), lithium017(2), Toad (2). Awesome. I love the chaos of Area 6 but I hate it when I lose my wing and laser and then a high score is done. |

Yeah how about the guy who had Zoki spend over a year customizing a SF64 console? Not to mention he just finished swapping the guts from both a new console and controller into it yesterday, in order to get the perfect joystick and longevity out of this remarkable fan-fueled piece. ...Nah, that guy's calm and collected. lol Kidding aside wasn't planning on opting for this one, I've played Star Fox 64 way too many times, frankly I view it as a sickness that I know every piece of dialogue, slippy haunts my nightmares... ha it's all yours buddy. Never finished this as a kid so I'll do Kirby 64!! Edited by TNT737373, Jul 16 2012, 04:35 PM.

Yes exactly. I stated that in the first post of this thread \ Our main problem is that a comment can not be edited after a few days so the first post will eventually be finite. I will therefore have to add in entries via new posts, and having a list 296 games long would be annoying as a new comment every time Edited by lithium017, Jul 16 2012, 05:08 PM.

It's time to get some serious gaming going. I'll knock off a couple of easy ones to warm up. World Cup 98 Fifa 98 Edited by clarky_n64, Jul 16 2012, 06:08 PM.

Excellent! Could you just snap a pic of something in the game that shows your completion and share it with us here? Then I would mark Harvest Moon as the first game completed |

I just beat Cruis'n USA. (Three times, on Easy, then Medium, then Hard, to get all the upgrades for the car I was using.) I took some pictures of the endgame and credits: ![]() Getting the trophy on the last race. ![]() Victory celebration? Oh boy! ![]() I get to go to the White House! ![]() Wait, even better...I'm on top of the White House ![]() And they upgraded my car for me. ![]() Roll credits. If I had to guess, I'd say it took about 1.5 to 2 hours, because the game gets tricky on the highest difficulty level. AI racers and traffic cars just randomly get in the way when you can't predict it. Also, the game uses rubber-band AI to keep things close. It may be true that the arcade version is better, but I still enjoy it on the N64. |
