Annual Club Nintendo Year N64 Gaming Challenge!

To celebrate our forum, we discussed ideas in the 1000 Members discussion thread. Several of us thought it would be a good idea to follow nintenod Age's idea of trying to beat as many games as possible in 1 year - but let's put our own spin on it and do it in 1 Club Nintendo year. The goal will be to complete as many games as possible before midnight on June 30th, 2013. We can include any games already completed this Club Nintendo year by members, just take a screenshot / post it.

Rules:

1.Only 1 Game can be 'Claimed' per person at a time - multiple people are free to beat the same game if desired but first person to claim it, gets it (please check previous posts to make sure the game is not already claimed after an update post from me)
2.Difficulty level does not matter
3.Sports games are to be beaten via a championship, or state what you completed
4.Some games have no actual ending so state what you challenged yourself to do to "complete" the game
5.Beating the final boss (if there is one) is mandatory - 100% completion is not required, but welcomed
6.After you beat the game, take a screen shot of the ending credits (this needs to be the actual end credits and not taken via the home menu option to go to the credits)
7.Post the picture and try to include how long it took you to beat the game (actual duration in approximate hours, as well as length of time Ex. 2 weeks, a month, etc.), what you completed (final boss, 100% etc), and your personal enjoyment level
8.I will update the list of completed games alphabetically once a week or so via a comment, and games that are completed will be shown in a different color

NEW!! Achievement Levels:
:n64: E3 Gold Level: 15 or more games completed
--Highlander(34), Majora's Mask(22)

:applause: NP100 Gold Level: 10-14 game completed:

:yeah: T.R.U. Gold Level: 5-9 games completed:

Just thought I would give a status update, as it's been a while since I started playing this.

Wow, I didn't know what I got myself into with this game, it was hard, frustrating and looong, well, it felt long.
It had its moments, but not my cup of tea, don't think I will be replaying this any time soon, so to speak.

There is no timer in the game but I guess it took around 40 hours for me to beat.

Here are some pics from the end sequence and the end credits:

Well, I standing ovation for Majora's Mask for perhaps the longest conquest to date! Wear it like a badge of honor, my friend!

I am hoping a few more fall this weekend . . . we're so close to cracking triple digits.

Ok I've finished NBA live 99. Did it a while ago but got lazy uploading the photo.

Got taken to 7 in the finals but pulled it out.

Give me NBA Jam 2000 next, since I've just bought it.

I've found a new game I'd like to claim: Holy Magic Century (Quest 64)

This is probably going to take a while for me to complete, but it seems like a good challenge!

Things are picking up as we near the homestretch!

@DeeMoney: nice job with Da Bulls...very fitting!

@SHOTEE: 10 completions? That will earn you the coveted NP100 Gold status. I'll be rooting for you!

@Majora's Mask: you don't shy away from a challenge, do you? Be sure to check out HydroNix's FAQ on Quest64 and post questions if you have them...he is a forum resource.

Is Mario 64 Shindou Edition a stand-alone game? If it counts as an extra clearance, I would finish it.

@ bluedogrulez, thanks for the tip! I might check that out, but so far it's actually going very well, and I'm really enjoying the game, a 'hidden' gem it seems! I have already completed 3 of the first quests (earth orb, wind jade and water jewel). I'm actually surprised I'm the first to claim this game.

Deemoney isn't the only baller on this forum: I've finished NBA In The Zone '98 on "Super Challenge" difficulty (playing as the Seattle Supersonics)

Click here to see the photos:

Spoiler: click to toggle

Despite the difficulty being described as "Super Challenge", this game was pretty darn easy. Most games were blowouts and I swept the Chicago Bulls in the finals (Game 2 was close, I only won by 5 points). It helps that the Supersonics are a ridiculously stacked team in this game.

Since I've done two easy ones in row, I'm hoping the next game I take will be more of challenge. Next up for me is Dark Rift.

Good luck with NBA Jam 2000 Deemoney! Boomshackalacka!

Which team are you going with this time?

Struggling a bit with A Bug's Life so I stuck in War Gods, a new one I just bought.

Didn't realise it was heavily based on the Mortal Kombat series, it plays near identically to Mortal Kombat and i'm a great MK fan :D

Finished it on hard level in about 2 hours

I made a 71 star run and defeated Bowser in Mario 64 Shindou Edition. I don't know how long it took exactly, maybe 6 hours?

Spoiler: click to toggle

The next game to play will be Tom and Jerry. Don't know how hard or easy this will be as I never played it before, so wish me luck ^^

Finished Tom & Jerry on Easy Mode playing with Tom. Easy was hard enough for me because I did not find out how to do special moves... But after one hour I was through.

I will claim V-Rally 99 Edition as the next game but can't promise to be soon finished with it.

I'm afraid I have to admit defeat, and "un-claim" Castlevania. I hope this is ok?
Could I claim Mega Man 64 instead?

Some info on my failure for those who might be interested:

@Majora's Mask: you beat the game on Easy and since gameoff rules allow for completion on any level of difficulty, I'm inclined to count it unless there is an objection.

One idea I had is that if someone beat a game on an easier difficulty setting, then someone else could "top" their achievement by beating it on a harder difficulty... because the bigger the win, the more impressive it is, right? That way someone can still take a beaten game on for the game-off if the person who beat it couldn't handle the game's maximum difficulty. Just a thought.

I've beaten my current game, Dark Rift, on easy, but you don't fight the game's real boss when you do this, so I haven't submitted it yet - eventually I'll beat it on Normal or hopefully Hard. (But Castlevania is probably a lot harder than Dark Rift so it's all good).
