Annual Club Nintendo Year N64 Gaming Challenge! To celebrate our forum, we discussed ideas in the 1000 Members discussion thread. Several of us thought it would be a good idea to follow nintenod Age's idea of trying to beat as many games as possible in 1 year - but let's put our own spin on it and do it in 1 Club Nintendo year. The goal will be to complete as many games as possible before midnight on June 30th, 2013. We can include any games already completed this Club Nintendo year by members, just take a screenshot / post it. Rules: 1.Only 1 Game can be 'Claimed' per person at a time - multiple people are free to beat the same game if desired but first person to claim it, gets it (please check previous posts to make sure the game is not already claimed after an update post from me) 2.Difficulty level does not matter 3.Sports games are to be beaten via a championship, or state what you completed 4.Some games have no actual ending so state what you challenged yourself to do to "complete" the game 5.Beating the final boss (if there is one) is mandatory - 100% completion is not required, but welcomed 6.After you beat the game, take a screen shot of the ending credits (this needs to be the actual end credits and not taken via the home menu option to go to the credits) 7.Post the picture and try to include how long it took you to beat the game (actual duration in approximate hours, as well as length of time Ex. 2 weeks, a month, etc.), what you completed (final boss, 100% etc), and your personal enjoyment level 8.I will update the list of completed games alphabetically once a week or so via a comment, and games that are completed will be shown in a different color NEW!! Achievement Levels: E3 Gold Level: 15 or more games completed--Highlander(34), Majora's Mask(22) NP100 Gold Level: 10-14 game completed: --Heinrold(13), bluedogrulez(12) T.R.U. bluedogrulez > congrats on beating Penny Racers 2, nice job! I have just beaten Gex3: Deep Cover Gecko. A pretty ok game, a rather typical 'platformer', collect stuff to open new levels plus bonus levels, and so on. This was yet another completely blind playthrough and it took maybe around 25 hours for me to beat. Spoiler: click to toggle I'm not sure about my ability to beat the next game I'd like to claim, don't know of any translations for this game in the series, but will do my best: Doraemon 3: Nobita no Machi SOS! Maybe someone here knows japanese and can give some clues if I get stuck? |

I don't own the game, but if you're in a tight spot and can take a quick screenshot, I could probably help you out with the Japanese!

Way to go Majora!!! Somebody is sniffing E3 Gold And you just tied Heinrold, our 1st Half MVP. WOW!I FULLY endorse you taking on a Japanese title . . . it is one of the cool features of our Game-Off . . . they all count! And great that floorcat is there to assist you . . . [cue generic sappy moive theme] because ***SNIFF, SNIFF*** beating them together is what this Game-Off is all about. Edited by bluedogrulez, Apr 16 2013, 01:52 PM.

Doraemon 3: Nobita no Machi SOS!, is beaten! It took about 4 hours. The final boss was ten times easier than the final boss in the first Doraemon in the N64 series. Pretty good game, but I guess if you know japanese it is a whole lot more interesting plus a whole lot easier... A lot of trial and error for me to find out which items to use etc but it worked and I beat the game! Spoiler: click to toggle Edit: Managed to also win Monopoly just now, took about 1,5 hours Spoiler: click to toggle I would like to claim Lode Runner 3-D, next!

CONGRATULATIONS TO MAJORA'S MASK, our second participant to acheive E3 Gold Level!! He is on fire, blowing past Heinrold and coming quickly at Highlander for most beaten Game-Off games. Lode Runner 3D is all yours, MM. And remember folks, just a little under 2 months left. So if you want to participate but have been procrastinating, or if you've claimed and have been procrastinating, now is the time to get up and play! |

I'm afraid Jet Force Gemini was completed a while back by fellow member cyan_ phoenix but Revolt is good. I'll add you to the list now I'm hoping to have Star Wars Battle for Naboo finished up this weekend. I'm not far off the end but just haven't had much game time recently. |

@Highlander: Congrats on Victory #22!!! You are a legend! Gald you have joined us, faulty puppy! Good luck with ReVolt! @mrdanielcroker: For Pokemon Stadium (#1), we counted beating the gym castle as completion. Is there any similar level in Pokemon Stadium 2? Finally, @Clarky, when it hit 2AM GMT time tonight, and Battle for Naboo is almost done, just think of the glory and honor we will throw your way for another completion, lol. |

Dezaemon 3D has been beaten. This create-a-shooter has two shooters loaded on it, the kiddie easy Usagi and the arcade hard Solid Gear (pure bullet hell). But stunning game. Beat Usagi in about 20 minutes. Solid Gear took 2.5 hours (on "easy"). Solid Gear Usagi

Mortal Kombat Mythologies = Metrep Mortal Kombat Sub Zero = Highlander I think I may have picked the same game as Metrep?? the full title of the PAL version is Mortal Kombat Mythologies - Sub Zero If it is the same one and not a different PAL/NTSC game I'll swap mine to Daffy Duck starring as Duck Dodgers

Ha, nice catch. The proper title in NTSC and PAL land is Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub Zero. In your defense, "SUB ZERO" is printed very prominently on the box. End of mystery. Daffy Duck it is, Highlander. |

Before I started Daffy Duck, I finished off two games last night I've been playing on and off for a while now (months!) The New Tetris Tetris basically has no ending, it'll play as long as you can, but there are challenges and levels to build within the game and i have completed all of those. Yay, Lode Runner 3-D, is beaten! This is a good game. Very difficult throughout, but especially at the end. Seriously. Anyone who's played this game and endured that far, knows what I mean. Someone here played it/beat it, if so, what did you think? This must be the hardest game I've yet played and beaten it took some time to learn to appreciate it. How's about this: - You die from one hit, no exceptions. No upgrades or anything that I know of can prevent this. And death means you practically have to do everything, all the collecting and stuff, per level - all over again. - You basically have no weapon against the enemies; but some blocks on the ground you can blow up and an enemy can fall into the hole. You can get bombs on some occasions, but they are precious, required to blow up blocks to advance/solve puzzles, and you can only rarely use them against enemies. Plus, blocks re-materialize just a few seconds after being blown up, so you have to be very tactical and use the bombs wisely. - If you would happen to manage to kill an enemy, they re-spawn instantly! - You need to beat all 4 levels of each World stage before you can save the game. There are a whooping 100 levels in the game! I was close to give up, on more than a few occasions, cause it just seemed so hopelessly difficult. But, if there is one thing I've learned from this Game off - through finishing games I normally would just quit playing and discard - is that some games that appear, should I say, 'not so fun' at first, can turn out to be pretty darn decent, if you endure and keep on playing...deep stuff ![]() Well, it must have taken longer for me to beat this than it did Earthworm Jim 3D, so I'm guessing plus or around 40 hours, yikes! Spoiler: click to toggle I would like to claim Duke Nukem Zero Hour, next! |

Well, a hardy congrats to Majora's Mask for spending the most time to beat any game thus far! And a reaction game (as opposed to an RPG), to boot. Great Job! And Highlander what ever did we do to deserve you? @mrdanielcroker: Fixed. It was my bad. Lithium would never make such a silly mistake

Stop it, you're making me blush!! Daffy Duck is REALLY difficult! i'm not really a platform fan but I can usually do them ok but there are bits on DD I'm trying over and over and not getting! ![]() Especially when you're controlling Daffy Duck in what looks like a cartoon, it looks like a kids game but its not! I got fed up with it last night, so between that and digging the garden I tried something else Dual Hero's completed, took about two hours on normal level. Spoiler: click to toggle

Duck Dodgers complete. V-Rally next please I'll get a better pic of the ending asap, when the game finishes (Marvin the Martian defeated) it shows DD falling out a plane then it goes to the credits, with DD talking in the background asking to be shown on screen to take the credit, so it doesnt really photo very well! ![]() Spoiler: click to toggle

Duke Nukem Zero Hour, is beaten! Good game, (IMO) way harder than Duke Nukem 64. In addition to the general difficulty of this game, it features unusually long levels, and you can only save after a level is complete. Well, it took around 20 hours to beat, I think. Spoiler: click to toggle Would like to claim "Rugrats in Paris: The Movie", next please. |

I was babysitting my niece (10 months) and nephew (3) tonight, I had planned to get a good way through V-rally tonight but Logan spotted Buck Bumble and we ended up playing that! Actually quite a good game, you play as a flying bumble bee with machine guns and missiles etc, working your way through levels dogfighting other airborne and ground insects, Three hours later and it was completed ![]() Buck Bumble off the list! ![]() Spoiler: click to toggle
