Annual Club Nintendo Year N64 Gaming Challenge!

To celebrate our forum, we discussed ideas in the 1000 Members discussion thread. Several of us thought it would be a good idea to follow nintenod Age's idea of trying to beat as many games as possible in 1 year - but let's put our own spin on it and do it in 1 Club Nintendo year. The goal will be to complete as many games as possible before midnight on June 30th, 2013. We can include any games already completed this Club Nintendo year by members, just take a screenshot / post it.

Rules:

1.Only 1 Game can be 'Claimed' per person at a time - multiple people are free to beat the same game if desired but first person to claim it, gets it (please check previous posts to make sure the game is not already claimed after an update post from me)
2.Difficulty level does not matter
3.Sports games are to be beaten via a championship, or state what you completed
4.Some games have no actual ending so state what you challenged yourself to do to "complete" the game
5.Beating the final boss (if there is one) is mandatory - 100% completion is not required, but welcomed
6.After you beat the game, take a screen shot of the ending credits (this needs to be the actual end credits and not taken via the home menu option to go to the credits)
7.Post the picture and try to include how long it took you to beat the game (actual duration in approximate hours, as well as length of time Ex. 2 weeks, a month, etc.), what you completed (final boss, 100% etc), and your personal enjoyment level
8.I will update the list of completed games alphabetically once a week or so via a comment, and games that are completed will be shown in a different color

NEW!! Achievement Levels:
:n64: E3 Gold Level: 15 or more games completed
--Highlander(34), Majora's Mask(22)

:applause: NP100 Gold Level: 10-14 game completed:
--Heinrold(13), bluedogrulez(12)

:yeah: T.R.U. Gold Level: 5-9 games completed:
--Omnert (9), SicCooper(6), Spidercolt(5), Randomgeek(5)

:D Silver Level: 2-4 games completed:
--Clarky_N64(4), macN64(4), Slowbird(3), James92(2), Gooman130(3), DeeMoney(3), Alice Lawless(2), acomicbookguyyc(2), TNT737373(2), buddy1983(2), lithium017(2), Toad (2).

--Cypher, danilochka, hockeylife21, HoldStartSelect, Mykur, Renad, SHOTEE, Vekoman, xChrisos, cyan_phoenix, stinger9142, Agent of Ligar, mrdanielcroker, floorcat, RocMan

Alright, I've decided to beat California Speed. I will beat the game on the California Cup mode (The longest mode, I believe). Is this okay? I checked the list and it didn't say it was taken.

I'm so close to being done. :D I'm on the last race! I'm having quite some trouble with it though, I've been on this same race for 30 minutes. This game is more challenging than I thought.

Woohoo! Just beat it! :w00t: I'll edit this with pics once I upload them to photobucket.

These are the end credits. I think that the tractor is a car I won for beating it. I am also pretty sure that the gold California trophy is the first place trophy since I know I did finish in first. Oddly enough it doesn't provide an overview of the circuit once beaten, just this screen.
Posted Image

Here are the results of the last course. I am BCR. This is the longest course in the game and encompasses all of California.
Posted Image

In total the 18 race circuit took 1:29:26 (1 hour, 29 minutes, and 26 seconds). :yeah:

Okay, I've got one more giveaway. Same rules as before (but Spidercolt) is eligible, and winners of other giveaways are not--gotta spread the love). Winner gets 3 Universal Game Cases with full-color printed N64 covers of his/her choice (subject to availability of course) shipped free worldwide.

UGC cases are really cool...they fit N64, SNES and NES (with modification) games and manuals. I like them so much, I'm on my second batch of 100.

Great idea, bluedogrulez, to link this challenge with prices for our 1000th member celebration.
I've played Ridge Racer and Battle Tanx quite a bit but have not finished yet (and not claimed them to be honest). Every now and then I try to beat Charly Blast but always get stuck somewhere :-/

I'm so glad that I saw Red Shadow released Toy Story 2 since I just beat it 100% today :D I'm uploading the pics now and will edit this post soon.

This game took quite some time. I'm guessing about 10-12 hours in total. I didn't time it since Red Shadow had it taken so I was just playing for fun. This was over a period of about a month and it got quite tiring towards the end since the level objectives are quite repetitive but the level design is intriguing enough to make me want to keep playing.

Finished Ridge Racer. Well, almost. This game sucks. It's one of the worst racing games I have played so far. This is not about driving fast but trying not to touch the sides of the road. You don't feel like you're driving a car but more something like a bus or a truck. The playability of this game is so low and makes it so hard to win the last races that I decided before I reached 100% :-X
I've won all cars and races except for the last two. Playing time somewhere around 10 hours (half of it spent one the final tracks where it is impossible to win).

Spoiler: click to toggle

And the Excel-sheet with the current standings:

Just thought I would tell you. On the Excel Sheet, you have me down as beating Superman and I beat Spiderman. Thanks for the Excel Sheet though its easy to keep up with the games that way.
This game might take a while to beat but I'll Claim Mario Party 2. I'll beat every stage and post a pic because there really isn't a story mode to the game.

Great job, Heinrold and Gooman130. And thanks, Spidercolt, for claiming another N64 title to beat!

@Heinrold: I really liked RR64 for the first few tracks in first person mode. But as high-speed drifting become necessary, first person was too hard for me, and the third party view made it another (less fun) Cruisn USA. Been shelved ever since. . . .

I'm going to throw my hat back in the ring and claim South Park and Jeopardy. But how should I consider Jeopardy defeated? Just play through and win? I'm not even sure if it has any extra modes, but I'll check it out by the end of the day and report back.

Hey Red Shadow great to have you back in!

Please note that as per Game-off Rules (see first post), 1 Game can be 'Claimed' per person at a time.
Please let us know which one you want to take on first so I can claim it for you on the first post. (I will also check on what constitutes beating jeopardy .. . I believe there may be an internet resource for this).

Changed Spiderman and Superman (which was already beat by James92).
So here should be the right Excel sheet: 2012-N64-Game-Off.xlsx

Doesn't Mario Party 2 have something like a Mini Game Mode? At least MP1 had a game mode where you go through every single mini game on a special island.

The Main Menu has where you select which board you want to play on. Or Mini Game Land which lets you play mini games that you unlocked while playing the game.
