Hey, I was thinking it might make things feel a little more cordial among us if we knew each other's names. First names, of course. Sometimes it seems weird to refer to someone by a long username that has numbers and whatever else included. It is just a thought, but I wanted to put it out there and if anyone wants to make things a little less formal and perhaps a little more intimate, in that friendly community sort of way, then introduce yourself here.

To get things started, my name is Evan. On the forum here you may refer to me as Evan, Red, Red Shadow, etc.

Hi Evan, nice to meet you. Your right it does make a bit more personal. :yeah:

I know a few of the guys names, I would say I'd know a vast majority of the active users names here.

My name is Andy, I came up with DeeMoney after me and a mate used to play NBA games to death against each other and create a player and put him on our favourite team. Back in the day, the commentators wouldn't use your last name, so I just picked a name from the nicknames list and DeeMoney was born.

Good idea, Evan.

Most anybody I deal with on here in PM's sees my real name signed at the end. It is KC. Very short and easy to spell  I do think knowing people's first names makes it easier to be friendly. I am anxious to learn some more of our member's names :D

My legal name is KC, without dots like you typically see in initials. It does stand for Kenneth Calvin, but I have never went by either. I don't like either of those names (at least for me that is).

My name is Spencer, and because I'm only 98lb (I'm not anorexic or anything. I just don't get hungry often, and when I do, I don't gain any weight because I fill up so fast), I acquired the nickname Stik because I'm as skinny as a stick. The spelling of it was to make it more personal, like a legitimate first name I can use. My user name came from Alice Cooper and Blackie Lawless. I chose two musicians I liked and put their names together because it sounds awesome. My girlfriend always said to me that if I ever became someone awesomely famous like that, that I should go by that name- but the name I would choose is Stik Ross (Ross is my middle name, but nearly everyone I know thinks it's my real last name. If you click my name in my signature below, you'll see why).

EDIT: I'm 6'0"

98lb wow that's little. I think I was that much when I was in lower primary school. That's only about 44KG. How tall are you Stik??

My name is Cooper, but I'm sure most of you knew that. My username is my youtube name, and I came up with it by putting ony of my previous band names acronym with my name (Spear Induced Carnage) so it became SicCooper.

Nice idea Evan :D

My name is Paul and my nick name is Scooter, when i started my last job there was already someone who worked there by the name of Paul so i was told i need to come up with a new name, i couldnt so someone decided to call me Scooter because they thought i looked like scooter from the muppets, i have red hair and wear glasses, now everyone i know calls me scooter, including family friends who have known me since i was three, and the 77 on the end is because 7 is my favourite number.

My name is Mark.

Many older games allow you to enter three initials in high score tables. My initials are MAW. Any Scots here might be able to see why I was reluctant to enter that as my name in leaderboards. I decided to just use my name, Mark, instead, after removing one letter. MARK became MAK, which looks a bit weird, so MAK then became MAC. macN64 came about when signing up to GameFAQS years ago. mac was taken, obviously, as was mac64. That left macN64. :)

My real name is Pedro although I've gone by Peter most of my life. Most people just call me Pete.

I go back to the three letter high score arcade days too but back then I was known as REX. I used that because it stands for king in Latin like in Tyrannosaurus Rex meaning King of the Tyrant Lizards.

hey, that's my name!
Remind me, what was the story behind your username? :P
full story: in a previous life i became a regular visitor at this shady dance club downtown but there already was another guy called Mark and also somebody known as Mark With The Hands.
Therefore my nickname became Mark Two (even though i was the third Mark!), Mark Mello or Light Boy.

Those were the days my friend.. we thought they'd never end.

Those are some cool mafioso sounding nicknames. Everybody has to be a loyal patron for a shady downtown club at one period in their life.

As for me my initials are TNT, and what's with the 3's and 7's? While those numbers are considered lucky, they are regarded as one of the worst combination of cards you can get in a poker hand, and I always seem to get it when at the table. ;)

No more waiting at the door lines, free entry to almost every event or club and plenty of sex, booze, drugs and dance!

Yep love their music, that song's about some "bad hands" in life. Also love Josh Homme's other project with JPJ and Dave Grohl Them Crooked Vultures. Really looking forward to both bands next albums, hope they release them next year. We have about the same taste in music, I like everything you've posted. Some real talent. Not just these "robot orgies" or singing about "da club" or all this other music produced for 13 girls like Bruno Mars or Owl City, can't stand that stuff, already have to hear it all day at work.. :-X

MK you should write some short memoirs about your times around that club, ha or will you take those sins to the grave? NY Times best seller 8 weeks in a row, I bet they'd have to put one of those plastic screens that say "18 & up" in front of the book on the display shelf it would be so controversial.

You could put it in a spoiler tag that warns readers about graphic content with age warning and then tweak the text color so you'd have to highlight it to read it.... Just sayin'...
