I've noticed that many members of this forum are blessed with artistic ability. In this thread we should share are work in a free-form style.

I'll get things started with a hand drawn sketch I did many years ago.

and lastly some early bryce work of some alien crafts. Much like the last 2 above, some were rough. I was not yet using math for the x,y,z coordinates, so they were not perfect.

Thanks, it took about 7 or 8 days, working between 6-8 hours a day for the room model.

I want to start doing more pixel art too

Sculpted this back when I was around 13 years old. It's made out of latex rubber which gives it the ability to stretch a little.

I've made others which are more like masks which I'll share in my next post.

Here are a couple more of my creations. Although they're too small to fit over one's head they do allow for enough movement to be worked like hand puppets.

Those masks are great, grizz. The one on the right is my favorite.

Cooper: that takes dedication. Some of my models took 6 or 7 hours to do, nowhere near as complicated as your whole room. I had plans to do a chainlink fence and gate, complete with a chain and padlock. It was a challenge to come up with ideas that could only use basic geometric shapes. Bryce 4, was pretty limited, as was my understanding of it at the time.

Grizz, your masks remind me of old stop motion movies, like Clash of the Titans and other films worked on by Ray Harryhausen. Any influence from those?

Ray Harryhausen is one of my heroes! Yes, his work has had a tremendous influence on me; so much so that I made a replica of his Centaur from The Golden Voyage of Sinbad.

Here's one of my more bizarre creations that pays homage to the work of John Dods.

Very nice work, Cooper! If you ever create something that could be played by any of us on the forum then you should definitely share it here. :yeah:

Maybe Cooper can make a new N64 game which is somewhat viable now that reproduction N64 cartridges are being produced. Wouldn't that be EXTREMELY cool if a new N64 game got released this many years after Nintendo stopped selling the console?

Anyone looking for inspiration on what modern N64 game to make should refer to this thread for ideas.

N64 games you would love to exist

In the coming months, I will work on a game that will be fully playable by everyone here. Its a large group project in future classes :)

Also, if I can make an N64 game somehow, some day, I will. I will make it happen.

If you needs funds maybe we can take up a collection here. I'm sure every member of N64 Forever would love to get a copy of a brand new Nintendo 64 game made by a member of the community for the community.

If you would need any help with writing or concept art I'd be happy to contribute. In fact, you can even borrow my idea from the short story Conflict in that wizards can battle via their toy-sized magical manifestations.

That would be awesome, but I am very far off from even attempting something like this. I have no idea how they are made, what engine (if any) they use, etc. Honestly, I'm closer to making a PS4 or Xbox 720 game than an N64 one :/

Made this today in about 6-7 hours. 100% from scratch in Photoshop. This is a hand painted texture, and is used in games such as World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Diablo, etc...

Most textures for games are more realistic, and are basically combinations of photos / reference. Games like Call of Duty, Dead Space, and Uncharted use those types of textures.

And my turn in for class with my 4 hand painted textures (This entire project took about 3 days of work, with about 5 hours of work a day on average)

I was browsing through my old videos on youtube and I found some really short After Effects demos I made a while back :)

Both are done using green screened people on stock footage backgrounds with some effects to boot
