Hello members! I am announcing my giveaway item. It is a used, but working copy of Mario Kart for DS. Who will I be giving it to? Well, here is how it works basically. I will send it anywhere in the US. So here is what all you interested US citizens have to do. Answer 4 simple questions for me. After a couple of weeks or so, I will pick a winner from the crowd. While answers to questions 1 and 2 will weigh heavily on my decision, everyone will still have a shot. For those of you outside the US, I would love to still read your answers to 3 and 4. If you would like to answer, please state somewhere in your reply that you DO NOT live in the US. I apologize I cannot afford the shipping to give it away to the rest of you guys. Anyhow, on to it! Please post your replies below. Question 1: Do you own a Nintendo DS? Question 2: Do you own Mario Kart for DS already? Question 3: How did you find Nintendo 64 Forever? Question 4: What do you love about Nintendo 64 Forever? |

DO NOT LIVE IN THE US BBBBOOOOOO But i'll play along and answer 3 and 4 for you Stinger. 3. When I started collecting for the back at the start of last year as most of you know you do a lot of research on items and places to obtain such items etc. etc. I was looking on the net and stumbled upon this place by accident and started reading the forums. I was thinking this is awesome, more people you enjoy the like me. So I signed up and the rest is history, I'm still here!!4. I think that this is a great forum. It has a really homely feel, with friendly people and a really good atmosphere. I think one of the main reasons that I hang around here is because of all of you guys who are also members here. I enjoy my daily chats with you guys about anything and everything and especially the . For me it also passes the time at work lol

Not entering, but i think this is a cool idea. 1. No i don't own a DS 2. See answer to #1 lol 3. Found it on google, i just googled Nintendo 64 game info, and one of the results led me here. 4. My favorite thing about this forum is probably a lot of people's favorite thing. Being able to interact with other collectors and people who know what they are talking about. |

1. No, I do not, but I may one day if/when the price is right. 2. Nope. 3. I heard about the forum over on the N64 GameFAQs boards. I came and checked it out in February of 2008 and the rest is history. 4. I think it is an even split between the great people here and the nostalgia factor that the N64 brings to my life. Although the forum is all about our beloved console, it harkens back to an entire era that is completely timeless in my mind and always will be.

I won't enter, I don't really use my DS so i'd rather see someone else get it, i'll go ahead and answer anyways though Question 1: Do you own a Nintendo DS? Yes Question 2: Do you own Mario Kart for DS already? No, the only DS game I own is Super Mario 64 DS. Question 3: How did you find Nintendo 64 Forever? Through google. When I first started collecting N64 stuff (Lithium's videos got me interested), I often just googled information about the Nintendo 64, I almost always would end up here. That goes to show how much information is available here. Question 4: What do you love about Nintendo 64 Forever? There's alot I love about the community, not only is there a huge resource of information regarding the Nintendo 64 here and collecting in general, but the community is welcoming and friendly. When I first signed up here I was surprised that alot of the members initiated PMs with me to help me build my collection. N64 forever may not have the biggest member base, but at least the one that we have is tight-knit and friendly. That can't be said about some other prominent collecting communities. |

Dont live in the US no hard feelings Question 1: Do you own a Nintendo DS? No Question 2: Do you own Mario Kart for DS already? No Question 3: How did you find Nintendo 64 Forever? By mistake, i am fairly new to forums but found one for retro gamers here in New Zealand, but there is only a couple of others on the site who collect N64, so one day i decided to have a look around the World Wide Web to see if there was another forum out there with more N64 collectors, and this was the first site that came up on the search i did, i had a look around, liked what i saw and joined that day, and as they say the rest is history. Question 4: What do you love about Nintendo 64 Forever? The people, everyone on here is so friendly and made me feel so welcome when i joined, also the knowledge on here is fantastic, no question asked goes without someone on here knowing the answer. I also like the international aspect of the site with people from all over the world. I also feel as long as this great site is going, then my beloved will live forever.

N64 collection completed 7/29/12

Question 1: Do you own a Nintendo DS? Yes (one regular, three DS Lites) Question 2: Do you own Mario Kart for DS already? I used to back when I lived in NJ. My "friends" stole it from me about two years after I moved to SC, along with all of my other DS games, and lots of other stuff like play and charge kits and what have you. So far the only game I got back that I owned was Super Mario 64 DS. Question 3: How did you find Nintendo 64 Forever? I spent months actively looking for a group of people with the same passion as me for, not just retro gaming and nostalgia, but the Nintendo 64 in particular. I started my collection with just a few games left over from after my brother sold a bunch to afford Enter The Matrix for PS2 (which he only played once). I never sold a game in my life, and that was the first step for me to becoming a collector. My childhood revolved around the N64, and I got made fun of for buying an N64 game back in 2006. Well that game was Conker's Bad Fur Day, and it was $20 new then, and a crap ton more now, so looks like I got the last laugh! Anyway, I needed to find people to like running partners, or spotters or whatnot. I needed to find a group that could help me collect and keep me motivated. After a long time a searching, I finally stumbled upon a link to the forum, and I was addicted. That was the summer of 2009, and that's when I started collecting fo-realz. I started with 8 games and made my way to a complete collection, thanks to this site. I should really mention that I didn't sign up until about six months later, as I felt there was nothing I could contribute back to the community. I felt intimidated by everyone else's knowledge and their massive collections. But something about the community made me want to sign up. I'm really glad I did because I was instantly welcomed and that boosted my motivation so much that I was able to achieve an amazing goal- especially in three years, which is crazy because I didn't get a job until the last 8 months of my collection! Even after finishing off the N64 and starting up a GameCube collection, this is still the only forum I go to. Question 4: What do you love about Nintendo 64 Forever? My absolute favorite thing is the community. There's a handful of dedicated members, and getting to talk to each other on here makes it so much more personal. We know each others' names, back stories, other hobbies, we know things about everyone's families, jobs, where everyone lives- it's very personal and I feel like if I ever met any of you for the first time, it'd feel like I've known you for years. |

Question 1: Do you own a Nintendo DS? Yes a fat silver one. Question 2: Do you own Mario Kart for DS already? Yes, it's the reason I purchased my DS. Question 3: How did you find Nintendo 64 Forever? I think somebody over at the Gamefaqs forums made me aware of it by posting a link. Question 4: What do you love about Nintendo 64 Forever? Everything! The people, the stories, the pictures and the access to such a vast wealth of N64 knowledge. I also enjoy the international aspect of this forum as I read much more than I write so inevitably I learn something new about the world every day. |

1. Do you own a Ds No i dont 2. Do you own Mario Kart DS No 3. How did you find n64 forever in october of 2012, i was really looking for n64 enthusiast forum. well litium017 had a video that he had a 1000 member n64 story contest and he told about this forum in the video. well i went to this website and i was blewn away of how many n64 fanatics were here(heck some people on here are even more hardcore of collecting for the n64 than i am) at first i thought i wasnt too good for this group(because i thought that you guys were way more intrested than me) but i started getting really intrested into the n64 again(thanks to paper mario 64) and then i decided to join this forum. 4.What do you like about n64 forever? the people and moderators here are very friendly and they gave me a warm greeting when i joined this forum. i also like that people are as intrested as i am of the n64. and i also like that there almost no trolls here(i have a youtube channel and man i got trolled pretty badly) and that its a small community. also i like that the moderators are very friendly and if you break one of their rules they dont ban you immediatley(like other forums do) but they tell you what you did and why you shouldnt do it. i also like that i feel very much at home here in this forum |

Duuuude! This is awesome! Thank you so much. It's reasons like this that I love this site: to go along with question number four, this site is so friendly that not only do we sell and trade games amongst each other, but sometimes we're also lucky enough to win things in the friendly forum games we've been holding. And it's also reasons like this that I would like to pay it forward by holding one myself in the coming month and giving back to the community. Hopefully that winner will pay it forward as well, and this will become a thing. Thank you Stinger for the prize, and thank you N64 Forever for being the greatest e-family a gamer could be a part of! |
