Ha ha, I can't argue with that last statement; my Mario Galaxy play time is only a few hours. But I'm really just having so much fun with Xbox live and especially with... that game I always mention.  I did take a break from that game yesterday, and got my original Xbox out. I had a few races on Burnout 2 (great game) and then played a bit of Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil (good but has a stuttery framerate). I also pimped out my DS:  And got these games for Mrs Alxbly's xmas. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y70/alxbly/web/DSCF0955.jpg  I think there's one there that you might have mentioned, floorcat...  Oh, and I'm playing Animal Crossing WW again. I just paid off my second last upgrade and got the final house upgrade. Yayyy!!! Now my mortgage is nearly a million bells... Man, that'll take ages to pay off.

What Im Playing N64:Everything Gc: Melee Xbox: Tony hawk American wasteland, Mortal Kombat DA D and A and Shaolin monks, Conker, Halo 2, PGR2 ( most on LIVE) Ps2: Fight Night Round 3 Ps: Digimon world 2, Crash Bandicoot DC: Nothing (if only i had more games..) Snes: Currently Kiddnaped By My older bro( I WOULD be playing Super mario RPG and Earthbound plus he has the Wii too... :() Gameboy: Pokemon Red GBC: Pokemon gold, Zelda Oracle Serries GBA: Nothing DS: Pokemon Pearl, Mega man ZX 360 when i get it: well i dunno what games i got yet.... |

I have 11 (I think) stars in Super Mario Galaxy. Just unlocked the Fountain area, and received two stars from there so far. The Terrace is mostly completed, well everything that I can complete so far. The Super Sweet Galaxy (or whatever) was crazy. And Bee Mario is kind of lame... Ray Surfing is neat, and the Super Monkey Ball-esque area was cool I guess. More updates to come!! |

-Call of Duty 4(PS3) This game is the shiznat! I love the single player mode, and I can't wait to get my PS3 online in January to play the online modes. -Unreal Tournament 3(PS3) Another awesome FPS, though I still feel UT '99 is the best. -Need for Speed: Carbon(PS3) Me and my friend finally finished our career 100% |

I'm playing: The Orange Box (360) - or to be more specific, I'm playing Portal and Team Fortress 2.  Call of Duty 4 (360) - finally adjusted to the multiplayer and I'm now really enjoying this game. It's brutally realistic and there's a real pleasure in levelling up your character to unlock the extras. Crackdown (360) - downloaded the extra content, which gives me an excuse to play this game again. Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (360) - I've added about fifteen hours of gameplay in the past week, and I still haven't even scratched the surface of the game. So far I've closed two Oblivion gates. Serious Sam II (Xbox) - I'd forgotten how good this game is. It's so good that I decided to buy the original Serious Sam on eBay. Wish this one was compatible with the 360 though...

Mario Galaxy: Got all stars on both loops of the game. That's 242 stars! Sin & Punishment: I made it to level 2-3 on hard. That was my first attempt. I need much more practice. Twilight Princess: Got all heart pieces. I'm missing 3 golden bugs and 17 poes. Unfortunately, it wasn't my copy so I had to return. Resident Evil 4: I just fell down a giant pit in the castle. Oh noes! |

Really? What do you think of the game(Star Solder)? It got average reviews, but I find the game to be an enjoyable cart. What I have been playing the last few days... -GTA3(Xbox) -King of Fighters 2003(Xbox) -Super Mario 64(yet again!) Off topic question: I'm thinking about picking up a GBA:SP is it worth it after all these years? |

I'd say so... and I imagine you can find one for fairly cheap these days (~US$30??). IMO, the SP is the best GameBoy on the market and the folding design not only protects the screen, but makes it the smallest it can be without losing functionality (I say GB Micro's TOO small). Most people would say to just get a DS Lite... BUT the DS/DS Lite can only play GameBoy Advance games, and NOT original GameBoy and GameBoy Color games. Which, I guess, ultimately depends on if you're interested in the earlier GameBoy era. Back on topic... I'm all up in GHIII, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (think I might break my game-reviewer cherry on this one), and 115+ star Galaxy. |

Actually, I think it is quite boring. Having played a good number of shmups, there is just nothing memorable about the game, aside from the one level that is ironically named "terrible". The level design is just so mundane, with indiscriminate enemies with little personality flying at you in the same boring formations, generic bosses, and a power-up system that is an absolute joke. And that's not even mentioning some of the technical problems, like the framerate and enemies that flash when hit.
What Floorcat said. The combined GBA/GB/GBC library is ridiculously huge and just packed with amazing games. The DS library is very strong and still improving. |

I played Rock Band last night at my friends apartment. It was really fun. I also used a kegerator for the first time, which was sweet. Then I played more Rock Band. |
