I finally reached 20 stars in Super Mario Galaxy! Has it been a week yet? :P

Some of the transformations are really strange. Rainbow Mario? When did Mario become a homosexual? What was wrong with the Starman? And Bee Mario is really unnerving... not sure why. I guess anything bee related has that affect on me, due to my allergy...

I'm still exploring the galaxy in Spore, and reading another visual novel about Phoenix Wright. This time, it's "Trials and Tribulations". I really like games like this ^_^ even though there's little gameplay involved I still heavily enjoy these types of games. I liked the first 2 Phoenix Wright games (now I'm playing the 3rd, and after I finish this one, it's time for Apollo Justice ;) ), as was the same with Hotel Dusk: Room 215. These games feel like they're some sort of transitional form between reading a book/comic and watching a movie/cartoon :)

So if there are any other (DS) games like the Phoenix Wright series or Hotel Dusk, feel free to recommend me :)

Really? There's a Rainbow Star in the very first galaxy! How could you miss it, unless you rush through and don't search for secrets.

Dead Space and LittleBigPlanet

I've been getting into the habit of only playing these between the hours of midnight and 4am. Alone. In the dark.   3 hours of Dead Space, then one hour of LBP to keep me from having psychotic nightmares. Just a little into level 4 of Dead Space, and this is already about the best game I've ever played. It pwns my face. So does LBP, but for the entirely opposite reasons.
Now Playing: Clash Royale (mobile), Gravity Rush 2, Rayman Legends, Project CARS, Uncharted 4 Survival Mode ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

I'm playing.... Fallout 3.

This is one of those games that just instantly pulls me in. The "VATs" system totally changes the dynamic; it should be another FPS but it soooooo isn't. All the good stuff from Oblivion has been brought across but the game has decent voice acting (more than three actors for a game... Bethusda, you spoil us)! There's so much to see and do... I keep forgetting about the quests just to explore another area or building. You never know what goodies (or baddies) you're gonna find. :D And I've not played a game this gory since... I dunno. It's sick!!! But in a good way!

I was swapping between Fable 2 and this but for the moment Fallout 3 has me completely and utterly hooked.

I finished up my Dino Crisis game but instead of returning to Legaia 2 I started a brand new game of Bully for PS2. Fun stuff. :PS:

Played GH: World Tour for the first time last night... didn't even get a chance to try out any of the off-line/single player game modes, as I connected right into a friend's band (in Atlanta, GA)... complete with Bluetooth headset connection and everything!! :w00t: Gameplay was 100% lag/hitch-free for the entire ~3 hour session... but unfortunately something was up with the in-game chat, since my receiving end kept breaking up and I could barely make out what was said on the other end between the blank pauses. But apparently I could be heard just fine. :eh: (Tested out the headset with my cell-phone... works AWESOME... so hopefully it was just a bad connection.)

I finally completed FFXII! The last boss was rather enjoyable, but I found him a tad too easy. Perhaps I overlevelled more than I thought I did?

I finished Fable 2 tonight. It was okay but I preferred the first Fable. You can contnue playing Fable 2 after the story is complete, so I'll no doubt keep playing to unlock more achievements.

I'm also playing Fallout 3 (Xbox 360). I'm racked up over 40 hours so far and have barely skimmed the surface. I like just taking off into the wilderness to explore the landscape... and that kinda distracts me from doing quests and stuff. There's still so much that I haven't seen... I could be playing this game for a long time to come. :D There's a level cap at L20 and I'm at level 15 just now. I'm not bothered though, the game has been made to actively encourage you to play it through two or three times and I think I'd still be enjoying it on the second or third playthrough.

Dead Space has been keeping my PS3 busy. I'm still on chapter 2 but I'm enjoying the game and in no rush to finish. :)

Super Mario Galaxy has made a reappearance on my play list. I got three new stars today, which gives me a grand total of 25. Only 95 to go!

I'm also playing Fallout 3 (Xbox 360).
One of these days I'll get around to playing my copy of this game... (on the PS3). Have you encountered any bugs yet? It sounds like there are quite a few, no matter which platform you're on (but some afflicted more than others).

Haven't had the time for any games this week until tonight, so I shall continue on my Dead Space experience.

I think I'll do that now, in fact. It's a bit early (usually play this game between midnight & 4am), but the "being alone in the dark" part should still apply. :w00t:

Gamespot knocked half a point off the PS3 version for being too glitchy... but you're right, there's bugs that affect all versions. I've encountered one or two glitches so far; some random stuff like dead people not falling over and more serious glitches like not being able to access one area without the game crashing. I could access the area at first but something must have happened that just glitched the game out. I discovered that every time I tried to access one particular sewer the game crashed. :( So I just reloaded a previous save, checked it (no glitch on that) and continued the game. :)

No trophies on the PS3 version either (sort it out FFS Sony). :nope:

When I have friends over, we usually play Brawl for about 11 hours. But alone, it's kinda pointless, so I do Pokemon Puzzle League (N64), Phantom Hourglass, and STILL working on 100 percenting Donkey Kong 64. I only just now got the game to play again (guess who didn't know the spoon removing expansion pak / jumper pak trick until around last month? Yeah, I'm...let's move on.) and unlocking stuff in my favorite Gamecube game, Custom Robo.

I was really disappointed in Fable 2. The game was okay but there was too many glitches and it just felt far too repetitive. Theres no where near enough weapons or outfits and the story is really, really, bad.

I started Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

I've been holding back on blasting Fable until I play through the post-story stuff (there's still a lock to unlock as far as I can tell) but I dunno... I think you're right, Steve.

It kinda feels like a step down from the first game. It's far, far too easy (you can't get killed at all), there are far too many glitches :nope: and the outfits are mainly rubbish. I thought the weapon choice was okay but it could perhaps have done with a little more variation. It's disappointing that there's no armour in the game, as there was in the original Fable.

The story... I thought it was just too basic. It's the same as the last Fable but simplified even more. Characters are never developed (perhaps except for Hammer) and it's far too short.

Yeah, looking back on it Fable 2 is pretty forgettable. Shame, it had the potential to be so much more. :-/

These days I'm playing Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts (360) and Dead Space (PS3).

I'm cracking my brains on the puzzles of Professor Layton and the Curious Village. This is EXACTLY the game I've always wanted: a visual novel (sorta) with dozens and dozens of puzzles, ranging from childishly easy to mindbending frustrating difficulty ^_^
This will keep me busy for a while.

I imported that game in July when I went to Canada - just couldn't wait for the Euro release - and I loved it. The puzzles were really fun and there were so many of them, that I spent many hours on this game. Great game.

As for myself, I'm playing Psychonauts (PS2) now. Since I really like platformers and especially the level design of this game is great, I really like it so far.

Bah, finished it already -_- why did I have to keep playing it that much?
Well, the story is finished and I found most of the puzzles, but there are still some things left to do. I already can't wait for the sequel to come out! :)

Dead Space.   With an occasional SSFIITHDR    or GHWT    session when friends are online.

Life is good when I ignore all my workwork/schoolwork. :w00t:

Oh, and for some reason I got invited into the Playstation Home closed beta :eh: ... I'll admit that it has potential, but from the 2-3 hours I've spent thus far, it pretty much seems like (Second Life)/2 * (3xperv + 2x(tween-tard males))^(load times) <_<

Still playing Fallout 3. Hit the level cap (L20) but still got many quests to find and complete. Also been playing a little bit of Little Big Planet and Flow (both on PS3).

PS3 owners - Flow is the best kept secret on PS3, it's so simple but so addictive. You need this game! -_- :D
