Fairly recently I've finished Professor Layton and Pandora's Box. I was a bit annoyed to find out that the Dutch version was voiced over as well, but I quickly got used to it.

Next up: Scribblenauts and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story :)

Yeah, the DS is pretty much the only console I still use on a regular basis. I also try to exercise with Brain Training, More Brain Training and Sight Training almost every day: it keeps me fresh :D

I've obtained Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, so that one is up next ^_^

Nice one. So, the ending... :-/ :nope:

I can't seem to find one game to concentrate on just now. I've started playing a few games that had been sitting on the shelf for a while:

MadWorld (Wii) - Replayed the first level to get used to the controls. It's a nice game, but it seems to be best in bursts... my wrists were hurting a bit after the first level. The motion controls are used well and are pretty satisfying but i have a tendency to over do it on executions! :-8 The chainsaw finishing moves are ace. :D

Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3) - Continued my game but this has been a bad move... I can't remember half of the controls. To further complicate matters, my brain seems convinced that this must have Assassin's Creed controls (even although I know it doesn't) most probably because I just finished Assassin's Creed 2. Probably the best solution would be to relearn the controls from the beginning... by restarting the game. I'm not too far in so that's not so bad.

Earth Defence Force 2017 (360) - I like this game, it's kinda "War of the Worlds" vs Serious Sam with bits from Body Harvest for good measure; it's basic but a lot of fun. :) I'm now pretty close to the end (only two levels to go!) so it's probably gonna end up on my completion list for this year. The game seemed to make very little impact sales-wise, but hopefully they sold enough to consider a sequel.

I hate it when that happens. >_< Probably almost as much as when it happens to someone else while they play one of my favorite games of the year. >_< >_< >_<

But yeah... I can totally relate... I had gone straight from Uncharted 1 into Uncharted 2 into Batman, and then back into Uncharted 2 multiplayer, and then Assassin's Creed 2, and then more Batman, before finishing off Assassin's Creed 2. Followed by more Uncharted 2 multiplayer. And HOLY CRAP what's with the run-button discrepancy??!???? First no run button, then one, then none, then two, then good friggin' lord I give up. Not to mention that I was trying to throw batarangs and pull off free-flow combat moves almost the entire time I was Ezio.

I couldn't imagine the tough time I'd have if there was a month+ gap between those games...

... back on topic...
I'm playing:
Fat Princess
God of War Collection: God of War  (title a little redundant?)
Prince of Persia Classic

I just completed my first play-through of God of War last night, and holy crap that's an amazing game!!!! I can see how/why it's so highly praised... and already looking forward to playing GoW2 & 3. (But not as much as I'm looking forward to Dante's Inferno!!!) <_>

Pure White Tendency for winter solstice is drawing me towards starting up a game of Demon's Souls... under the assumption that I wouldn't get so harsh of a beat down. :link:

JUST today I started up a game of Prince of Persia. Pretty good so far, but I'll have to have a marathon session tonight after dinner if there's any hope for me to 100% the game before the year ends. :-/

Also playing:
Fat Princess
Prince of Persia Classic

Up next (in no really relevant order):
Need for Speed: Shift
Demon's Souls
God of War Collection: God of War II
Now Playing: Clash Royale (mobile), Gravity Rush 2, Rayman Legends, Project CARS, Uncharted 4 Survival Mode ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Does the Dutch version have an English option? I wanted to buy it here in Belgium since it was pretty cheap, but then I saw "Volledig Nederlandstalig" on the box so I didn't buy it in case it was Dutch only. I don't like games in languages other than English or Japanese, and especially not voice-acted ones.

In an effort to squeeze as much replay value out of Fallout 3 as I possibly can, I've started an evil file. It's so satisfying to the heads of good-hearted NPCs flying off their shoulders. :omg:

I'm tempted to replay Zelda Wind Waker because it's such a fantastic game. :)

I thought I was the only one who went through moods like that. I've played only a couple of the games I got for Christmas, and even with those, I kind of had to force myself to sit down and put them in. What's wrong with us?

Dunno. For me it's just that nothing has really blown me away... there's nothing that I'm thinking "I really need to play that right now". I'm also catching up on other things just now; books, seeing new places, trying new things. I'm spending less time on gaming... dunno why.

Wow, this is scary. I'm going through exactly the same thing as you guys! I haven't touched New Super Mario Bros. Wii in about 3 weeks, despite absolutely loving the game.

I even packed up my PS3 and started replaying Metal Gear Solid 2.

I'm doing quick takes of StarFox, Gradius III, Super R-Type, and Blazeon on my SNES portable the FC16 Go. And I am playing through Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter on my DS. Love drawing goofy things in this game. I have Ironman as the character that I control. Some of the things, like platforms, are hotdogs, pumpkins, fried chicken legs, etc. X_D

Playing Mace and StarFox, plus a few other games on my N64. :D

I finally got my taste for gaming back. For the past few days I've been playing through Prototype. It's good fun, the combination of a huge chunk fo New York to explore and the sheer brutality of some of the moves have got me hooked. :)

Prototype was a wonderful idea, but the game was severely broken (at least on PS3), and personally I think it got old terribly fast. Are you playing the PS3 or 360 version?

Ha ha, fishing. I couldn't figure out how that worked myself, I had to look it up on GameFAQs. I'm still not 100% sure on the best way to catch one, but I only did it when it was required anyway.

The ending I thought was alright... as far as story goes. I certainly hadn't gotten the balls up for God Mode, and so I fear it ever more after hearing your account!!! But yes... GoW was bloody amazing, and I'm definitely looking forward to playing through the sequels!!

Need for Speed: Shift
Let me know what you think of that one. I've heard opinions ranging from :D to :-/

If you ask my humble opinion... I see Need for Speed: Shift as my #1 favorite racing game I've played this generation. Possibly even ever. But maybe it's because I enjoyed World Driver Championship so very, very, very much. People often use the term "spiritual successor"... and I'd use it here. It's like they took the soul of WDC and updated it to today's standards. Of course, there are a few things that maybe could have been better (specifically, more control during replays, more detailed friends' leaderboard), but I really enjoyed it. TONS.

And speaking of souls... I'm currently getting totally pwned on my first playthrough of Demon's Souls. I already told alxbly, but it's seriously likely to be my #1 favorite game of all time. I'm totally loving it. Yes, maybe I'm just a total masochist... because this game is like the epitome of UNFORGIVING... if you slip up and don't pay attention at even a relatively safe zone, you could totally pay the price. But really though... as many reviewers I think have said... if you die, it's pretty much always your own fault. Like... let's say... it's very FAIR in its unfairness to you. And I love it.

Also been playing Army of Two with an office mate. Let me just say, "ZOMG I HEART CO-OP". It's good mindless cooperative fun, and everytime we play, I end up going to bed sometime after 6am.
Now Playing: Clash Royale (mobile), Gravity Rush 2, Rayman Legends, Project CARS, Uncharted 4 Survival Mode ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
