Also been playing a bit of 999 on the DS a little here & there... a pretty engrossing game so far... looking forward to getting a whole lot deeper into it. :w00t:
How is 999? I heard that it's got a time limit and I'm usually just not that crazy about time pressure in my games.

Can't believe I'm still playing Castlevania: Lords of Shadow! I've been at it for weeks now and I still have not completed the game! After I'm done with LoS I'm gonna play Tron: Evolution. 8)

Hmmm... if it has such a time limit, then I've definitely not encountered/noticed it, as it's either infused into the plot (and plot only, not the gameplay), generous to the point of invisibility, or totally hidden (in which case I'm already screwed). I'd say I'm about at the 3rd main room/puzzle, and since the time limit idea never even struck me, I've left the DS running while I do other stuff.

Talking about time pressure... that's seriously the ONE aspect of Dead Rising 2 (and Dead Rising) I'm not too fond of... my first playthrough was exceptionally/unnecessarily stressful because of the clock. >_< >_< >_<

I've been playing Link's Crossbow Training. Must have bought like 3 years ago but never played it until now. Not much of a proper game but quite a challenge nonetheless and very nicely presented.

Okay. I just read about the game running 9 hours and I took that to mean 9 play time hours and that you'd get Game Over at the 9th hour if you don't solve it.

I take it that isn't the case then?

Ummm... from what I can tell, I'd have to say no. I mean - in the plot - yes, you have 9 hours to find the 9th door or you lose. But I highly doubt that translates to actual gameplay hours. Like I said, if it does, it hasn't made it apparent - and I'm screwed. But even on the very first room/puzzle, you wake up in a flooding room, and need to find a way out before it floods completely. I don't think the water level ever changed (the "flood" was just a static picture, not an animation), and I just leisurely checked out the entire room and (eventually) solved the puzzle after great amounts of trial and error, without even a hint of urgency. In the ensuing cutscene, you're given the full briefing on the 9 hours, and within the same cutscene an hour elapses.

Haha yeah it's a really good game. I guess I'm taking such a long time to beat it because I've been really busy the past few weeks. My play time in the game is already easily over 15 hours though and I'm at chapter 10 (there are 12 chapters if I'm not wrong).

Still playing a lot of Link's Crossbow Training... i know, it's hardly a game but it is quite addictive nonetheless ! I just have to get Platinum medals for all levels. Also played a bit of Sin & Punishment - Successor of the Skies. Lovely visuals, slightly confusing at first but i'm growing to like it. It's really very pretty, sometimes you almost forget to shoot because the scenery is just so beautiful that you want to take a closer look. Makes me hungry for the N64 version !

I'm not sure you could find a greater contrast of a pair of games if you tried.

Lately, ive been playing Bully:Scolarship Edition for the Xbox 360...

Its actually a really fun game, i would have never even considered getting this game if it wasnt for reccomendations on these forums..

Seems like an easy game to get 100% of the achievements, its just going to take some time. Some of the classes i suck at too like art and biology lol. Hopefully ill have this game done by the end of the month!

Next on the list is Madden 2011, im picking it up used tomorrow from gamestop. That way i can beat it in a couple of days and return it :w00t:

Tip: For biology class use both analog sticks to move the cursor when necessary(it's twice as fast).

Funny thing is, I myself didn't really like Bully when I first played it. It's only after I played Red Dead Redemption that I started loving Bully. X_D

I really like that game (much more than San Andreas), but when I tried to play it again recently it greatly annoyed me to find that I couldn't use the mouse to move the camera around. There was a mod that I tried but I couldn't quite get it configured correctly to do what I wanted it to.

Dead Rising- Are those games any good!? Ive always considered getting the first but never got around to it. I got Left 4 Dead instead. I LOVE Left 4 Dead 1 and 4, so id probably like the dead rising games too correct? Are they easy to 100% achievements wise!?

Dead Rising series is fun, but as classic as the first one is, the second is much better. But still, the first is $20 or less since it's a platinum hits since 2006. DR2 should still be full price since it came out over the summer. That one has online multiplayer and easier achievements (I 1K'd it in 12 days) while the first will take some time due to the asstastic survivor AI. Case Zero is a VERY easy 200G arcade game for a mere 400MP, while Case West, the one I currently have paused right now (and I'm about to rescue my last survivor, acquiring a 200/200) is 800MP. I recommend you get the first game and play through it first since it's cheaper and you may not want to go back to its simplicity after playing the awesomeness of the second. But don't get me wrong dude, the first still has that early 360 charm. I would recommend them all. In fact, I really wish I bought DR2 instead of renting it- even though there's nothing left for me to do in it.

Oh yeah, good luck on the 72,000 kills in the second. I suggest you clone 12 of those 10% off books to get a 120% discount and collect bank each time you buy the SUV key. Then clone 12 four wheel books to make your SUV indestructible. Start the very second the game begins (on your last playthrough of course) since I only had about four or five ingame hours to spare.

Finished Zelda: Twilight Princess to the credits screen. I may go back and complete more of the side games, get extra hearts, etc; it seemed to me that I rushed through it.

I enjoyed the story and prefer the graphics over the cel-shading of Windwaker and (I assume from what I've seen) Skyward Sword. However, it's disappointing how easy the bosses and dungeons are. The bosses must be made easier these days. With the dungeons I assume I'm used to Zelda's puzzles. I remember when I first played it, I played a friend's game and he was amazed how I didn't spend anytime with the puzzles.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Now I figure I'll get around to Glover. If I take up another game around this time, I may choose Windwaker or FF7. I started both a long time ago only to phase out after a while. I might not bother since school starts next week for me. FF7 would be easy to play with the PC version compared to the GC that is back home.

Today i started up Gears of War 2 Again :D. Ive gotten 4 more achievements today, and will hopefully get another by the end of the night! My goal is to have the game 100% complete by the time the 3rd one releases in september..

Shouldnt be too much of a challenge. The only ones that will take some time are reaching level 100, and getting a total of 100,000 kills.
