C'mon alxby. You think id turn down a Gears of War Co-op!? Not a chance Shoot me an invite next time im on, and id be more than happy to run thru the campaign with you. We can do it on casual, then again on insane after you unlock it. Playing thru the campaign will add to my kill total. So it will get me closer to Seriously 2.0! -Corey |

Playing Dead Space 2... finished Hard Core recently, and am thinking to start a fresh run of Zealot mode, without using any DLC weapons/suits, as well as refraining from using the AWESOME "Hand Cannon" you unlock by completing Hard Core. I'll probably try to get through Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People episodes 4 & 5, as well as Dead Space: Extraction & Ignition on the PS3 (for posterity)... should probably be close to 100% on Dead Space 2 by then as well.

Finally picked myself up a copy of Fable III for the 360 tonight! I wanted to wait till i could hunt down the collectors edition sealed for a good price, but i couldnt resist any longer. So ill just play thru what i can with this copy, and when i find the collectors edition cheap ill either sell this copy, or keep both so i can keep the collectors edition sealed! Anyways, i never played the first one for the original xbox, because i absolutly hated the system and never had interest buying it. The second one on the other hand i bought soon after it was released. Absolutly fell in love with the game. Im not usually the one for RPG's, but Fable is amazing. I played thru the entire second one but got rid of it before the final add on was released. So i still intend on rebuying the game, as well as the DLC so i can polish it off! -Corey |

Trophies/achievements are great, and they can even add a bit more depth/longevity/fun to a game, but it's a sad truth, that they've ruined video games for some percentage of gamers...

I'm playing Need For Speed: Most Wanted. It's the first racing game I've stuck with in a while, and I'm enjoying it a lot. In the past few weeks I've also been playing: Fable III - just started it really. seems good so far but I'm a bit wary about the numerous glitches that it's meant to have. The Incredible Hulk - It's similarity to Prototype (which I finished last year) got me interested and it's not bad at all. i'd missed it when it first came out assuming that it was another movie cash-in but it's actually good fun. ![]() Lego Star Wars - Just went back to see if I could unlock the last of the characters, which I've now done. I do need to replay the levels at some point becuase there's so many little secrets areas and things that aren't available the first time you play through. Ghostbusters - finished the single player, still got a few collectables to find though. Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom - this a great wee game that I knew nothing about until I read a bit on another forum where it was described as being "a bit like Ico/Shadow of the Colossus". That's high enough praise for me, so I decided to get it. The gameplay revolves around the two main characters; a theif trying to save the land (who you control) and a strange looking creature (the Majin) which he frees and it then helps him on his quest to rid the land of a dark evil. It is quite Ico/Colossus-y and definitely worth a play. I'm adding this to my list of games I want to complete this year. Mirror's Edge - I still had some collectables to find so I went back and replayed most of the levels to find them. Gears of War - finished in co-op with a friend. Tropico 3 - I hadn't really played much of this, so went back to it and was pleasantly surprised. It has quite a Simcity/Civilization feel to it, and I ended up playing it all night. It's probably the best console strategy game I've played in a long time.Glover - pretty disappointed with this. I'm glad I took part in the game of the month as I hadn't really played much of it before but it's not a good game, or at least, it's not to my taste. Shadow Man - restarted the game and am making my way through it. The dreamcast version is shinier but that's not in spirit of a "N64 Game of the Month" topic! |

Still trying to get a gold star for each event in Mario Kart Wii. Today i've also played thru a stack of recent Gamecube finds - i try to play each game in my collection at least once ![]() Most memorable games were 007 Nightfire, NBA Street Vol. 2 and Viewtiful Joe 2. The latter in particular looked very good on my 55" TV; must be the cell-shading technique that was used. Edited by Mk II, Feb 20 2011, 02:38 PM.

Did some N64 gaming today. I played a bit of Banjo Tooie, Hybrid Heaven, and Indiana Jones. I was mostly just making sure they all worked. I was not real impressed with Hybrid Heaven. It has an interesting look to it, but the guys so akward. Indiana Jones was interesting. I like the look of it, but I am not sure what I think of the game play yet. Banjo Tooie was alright. I mostly watched a lot of story videos, and only got to actually play maybe 15 minutes. I was just kind of getting used to the controls again. |

Are you enjoying Saboteur, alxbly? I beat it 100% earlier this year, and loved every minute of it. I felt it was a hugely under-rated game. |

Q-bert 3 for the Super Nintendo. Always liked this game in the arcades but never learned to play it properly because it had such a steep learning curve. Video games here used to take 1 guilder (almost 3 US quarters IIRC) so it was VERY expensive to play anything really challenging. |

Yeah, really enjoying it. I like the GTA-Assassin's Creed feel, it's really easy to be distracted and there's plenty to find when you start exploring. I'm really impressed and also a wee bit sad that this ws Pandemic's last game.

Yeah, GTA meets Assassins Creed is exactly the way I described it to friends. Yeah, it sucks that there likely will not be any sequels/prequels. I destroyed all 1400 some odd Nazi objects you could. I enjoyed every minute of it too! "Let's dance, Fritz!"

Still playing Black. I played Assassins' Creed Bloodlines for a bit last night. It seems promising, and I was surprised that it had a true A.C. feel to it

Just started on Saints Row and I'm really enjoying it so far. Thanks Stik for recommending it to me because I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have gotten it otherwise. Also, I had originally planned to start on L4D not Saints Row but for same strange reason I kept getting disconnected from the server when I was playing the campaign mode online... |

Still playing Saints Row now (halfway through the game) and it's definitely been more enjoyable than GTA IV so far. The clothing shop owner named Stefan always cracks me up.
