ok, a few days ago i found a game by the name of "Armagetron Advanced"
a tough, online multiplayer, 3D tron game, easy on bandwidth (nearly NOTHING), and very, very adictive.. your probably thinking tron is lame or doesnt sound fun and what not, but once you play it, your hooked. the game isnt about competition and victory or loss, sure its hard at times, but its so much fun weither you win or lose..
Check it out : http://www.armagetronad.net/

2MB download only :D
no updates, though few events each year or so..
loads of active players and servers
loads of game types to experiment on
change your ride color and trail and HUD and even the grid to the way it suits YOU
(though your ride and trail may change if your on a team match)
I used to play that a couple of months back! :)
I even had the Tron: Legacy skin pack haha.

Fallout 3 is so addicting. I haven't played New Vegas, but it's supposed to be good as well. Right now I'm just near the end of Fallout 3, since I stopped playing about 3 months ago, I'll probably end up beating it soon though.

Lately just Rock Band 3 (as always) and LA Noire

I have about 22 hours logged for Fallout 3. The main quest you can beat in about 10 hours, I've heard, but I wasted time on beating some of the DLC, since I have the GOTY edition, and in my opinion some of the DLC is more fun on the main quest. So I waited a while to do the main quest.

Right now I'm playing Half-Life on PS2, since my old PC died, and all I have right now is my laptop until I get my new computer next week.

This morning I played a little F-Zero GX in hopes that Nintendo will announce a follow-up on their new console at their E3 press event tomorrow.

F-Zero GX looks absolutely stunning on my 40 inch LCD TV running in progressive scan and wide-screen mode. The whole spectacle is heightened further by the amazing music and sound effects which are presented in Dolby Prologic for an even more immersive feel.

i bought a new PC so now im actually able to play some more or less recent games for that platform. And i 've discovered a real-time train simulator called RailWorks. Not unlike MS Flight Simulator with gourgeous scenery, attention to details, loads of locs, rolling stock (historic and current) and tracks all over the world. Like MSFS, it also supports up to three monitors for a true panoramic experience (and yes, ive got three monitors) It also has a lot of installable user-generated content, add-ons and expansion packs. Most people would find playing this 'game' utterly boring but i get a strange pleasure out of it. its very relaxing just to sit in the cab and see the world pass by. Heartily recommended to all trainspotters and other anoraky types :)

Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse (NES). A great (and really challenging) old school 2D platformer. One of several later NES games that has impressed (and entertained) me. Now at stage 7 of 10 . . . .

Really good music in that one, if I remember correctly. I recall getting pretty far but never actually completing it.

If you enjoy the NES Castlevania games I suggest you hunt down a copy of Astyanax. I had a lot of fun with that one to the point that I even completed it.

Today I got into Wipeout 64. Its like extreme G meets F-zero. The cars are really 'floaty' feeling but the tracks look really good.

This game is hard. I had a perfect run on the first challenge of the race mode and still couldnt do better than 5th place. I wonder if Im missing something important..... I may have to bust out the gameshark just so I can se the rest of the tracks!

Recently picked up Chrono Cross and have started to play it, though I set up an emulator to do it for better graphics and convenience.

One of those games I played when I was young and have memories of.

Today I played 1080 Avalanche on my Wii (it's actually a GameCube game) just so I could listen to the music. :P

I went to visit my friend today at Gamestop and while I was there I picked up ATV Offroad Fury 3 for $5.00 to play on the PS2 that I just snagged cheap from a seller on Craig's List.

My friend also told me that now that they are taking preorders on the Wii U (price and launch not yet available) they're only giving $20 trade-in on used Wii's. He said they're giving an additional $25 trade-in on all consoles bringing the grand total up to just $45 for the Wii. :o

well, that kinda makes sense when you look at the price level of a new Wii.

yesterday i played a bit of Star Trek Conquest on my Wii. Now im not overly fond of the Star Trek phenomenon (aging men in thights? no thank you!) or strategy games in general so it was surprisingly entertaining.

I'm currently playing L.A. Noire. It's been really great so far and I don't know how to explain it but it just feels like one of those games where you know you've gotta complete it at least once in your lifetime (like Phoenix Wright and Trace Memory). :yeah:

Played a bit of Need For Speed Nitro for Wii which is being billed as "the first NfS game written for the Wii".
It is still a steaming load of excrement though. Unresponsive controls and ugly graphics. Avoid like the plague!
I paid only 2,50 euro for this game but that is way too much to be honest.

Also played Colin McRae's Dirt 2 off-road racer. It looked slightly (VERY slightly) better but it was just as unplayable as NfS Nitro.

I started Monster Hunter Freedom 2 last night. After spending 522 hours on the last, it feels really weird to start back over. I am really hoping to get to play some Assassin's Creed 2 tonight. :D

Been playing Wii Sports resort with the little woman. The other day she kicked my arse in boxing when we played the original Wii sports so I felt it was time to move on. ^_^

I'm also playing a lot of Super Street Fighter IV as I'm going to enter an Arcade Edition tourney at the end of July.
