What games are you playing?

I finally beat Fable. I've been so busy that even though the game is only 12 hours long I was only able to play it a little on the weekends.

Up next: either Chibi-Robo (GC) or Deus Ex: Invisible War (Xbox). I can't decide...

It was really good except that by the time my character was ultra-powerful, the game was over in the blink of an eye.

Heh, that always happens to me while playing through RPGs. I tend to overlevel to the point of insanity before progressing through the story, making the challenge seeminly nonexistent. I really should stop doing that....

I'm still playing TimeSplitters 2, though I've only played 1.5 hours of video games in the last 2 weeks. :(

Me too! I spent ages in Fable just mowing down baddies to build up exp, which kinda extended the game a bit. Finding every item took me about 40hrs, which I thought was a fairly decent length for a game. I just wish the main quest was a bit longer.

It's such a good game. The challenges will keep you going for ages. Have you messed around with the map maker yet? I've made a few levels, including the Facility from Goldeneneye. The layout is the same, but the mapmaker is limited which means is looks kinda different. Sure I have some screens kicking about...

^ That's the first floor map. Here's a screen of the bottling room area and one of the bottom of the stairwell, just as you come out of the toilets:

I've had to use a ramp instead of stairs, but you can see the toilet door at the top ofd the ramp. :( The screen below is the same view but in Goldeneye.

Migulic: Paper Mario TTYD is so much fun. Have you completed the 100 room dungeon?

Only got to floor 30 :). I wasn't brave enough to attempt the rest after I realised that there's no save points in the whole dungeon...

^ It's a lot of experience to lose if you get killed. It takes a while too, I think it took me about two hours to complete. Worth for the various prizes, though. :)

Wow, thats pretty impressive! I haven't even touched the Map Maker yet, when I get some free time I'll see if I can make something decent. Perhaps I'll try to remake some Perfect Dark levels to the best of my ability, providing I have the patience.

For Thousand Year Door, presuming you're not TOO high a level, you can use the Danger Mario trick. Simply use the magician or whatever he/she is in this game to bring your HP down to 5 Max, then put on lots of Last Chance and other similar badges.

BTW, put the extra areas into your BP, if it's not maxed out.

Getting to Level 99 in that game is harder than making out something in Carmageddon. 'nuff said.

I think I'm level 23, so I might try that. As for those badges, do you have to buy them or is there an easier way to get them? (I didn't use badges too much throughout the game, so I don't know a lot about them).

Some can be bought at Pianta Parlor. Actually, all the needed ones can be bought there.

I also suggest having all partners, and lots of space for items. Money Money Badge is also useful.

I suggest going Darkside for two reasons: 1.) it's funnier, and 2.) you get more money, and therefore can buy the best equipment.

Why would you not go to the Dark Side? Why help people when you can help them die?

Going evil it is then.
Bully is good but kind of short. You get nice weapoms though, marbles, firecrackers, stink bombs, bottle rocket launcher, eggs, etc... The game does have a story...
make sure to do all your classes in the game first before you go exploring... the pay offs are worth it,,

I'm watching Trigun which I borrowed from a friend.

18 episodes down, less than 10 to go.

I'm also messing around with Forza Motorsport.

And I'm going to start a new game of Majora's Mask to show my brother why he needs to get Twilight Princess as his first game.

now playing...

N64: Star Wars Rogue Squadron - I wasn't able to get into it previously and was stuck on a mission, but I got past it now and am enjoying it so far. Finally found out that that yellow beam on the radar was for

GC: Simpsons Hit & Run - Good game but it's too short (I'm already on Apu's mission (near the end of the game) and I started it about 2 days ago. There are sidemissions I can go back to though.

GBA: Advance Wars 2 - Well not really, just deleted the previous owner's data. Going to start it soon as I'm getting Advance Wars DS.

I live for boost. Plain & simple. Finally got gold today on that one insane Europe F-1 time trial track... (alpine autobahn?)... the one where you need to get under 1:35. That took away about 4 hours of my life. 4 intense hours of mach 10 ecstasy...
