The best part is playing it again, making different choice and seeing how deeply the narrative changes from your choices :D !

Yeah I look forward to another play through at some point.

Threw in Uncharted last night after finishing Heavy Rain. I'll finish that one next before I go back to Mafia II on the 360. :yeah:

What sort of game is Heavy Rain? Always had a passing interest in it, but never really looked into it

It mostly tells a story and is probably along the lines of an Adventure Game. I found the story line to be quite entertaining and had my attention all day yesterday from start to finish. :yeah:

Playing through The Last of Us.

TBH, I'm not really all that impressed. The game play takes a back seat to the narrative and the production values, which I think is a real shame (and a growing trend within the industry, so it would seem).

However, I will continue my journey...here's hoping things pick up...

Playing dkc for 3ds its ok. Movements. Isnt as fluid as snes version and barrel rolls only last half a screen instead of unlimited. Cant do cool speed runs anymore.

While I am trying to improve my Pac-Man play (Namco Museum 64) for the game-off, I've been playing a lot of NES Tengen Ms. Pac-man with my daughter...co-op style! Let me tell you, that Tengen release is fantastic, with the simultaneous 2-play (either co-operative or competitive), and with Ms. Pac-man speed boost (very fun).

That's good news mate. I'm far too entrenched in the single player ATM to even worry about multiplayer. But it's good to know that it's got some legs when the single player is over. Currently sitting at about half way through single player :yeah:

How many hours would you say it's taken you to get to that point mate?

I've been continuing my adventure on Final Fantasy 9 and have recently just flicked over to the 3rd disc. I forgot how addictive the older FF games are.

True, I'm about 4 hours in on uncharted so that's good. Finished it tonight, all up was a bit over 13 hours. But in saying that I think the replay value is quite high, I'm already looking forward to a second play through :yeah:

After finishing up The Last Of Us, I've dived into Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS).

This is my first Fire Emblem game and I'm really enjoying what the game has to offer. I've sunk about 9 hours into it as of this writing I'm I can't seem to draw myself away from the :cussfit: thing!

I put in a lot of time with The Last Of Us yesterday and today and I'll be getting more time tonight after my ex-wife picks up my daughter. I've been trying to stay ahead of the pace of most of my favorite YouTubers but one of them actually posted the end video of his series today. I can't wait to beat it and then watch all those videos!

A little embarrassing, but I only just (finally) got past the first section with all the runners (and one clicker) in the office building last night after a few days' break. Essentially your first encounter with the infected. My gamesave says I've done about 25% of the game. I'm playing on hard, but even still, I felt like I was totally missing something... it's crazy how scary these guys are, and how easily overwhelmed you can get, with even just two infected!

Anyways, I was determined to get through it without any help/reference, and glad that I finally did!! :w00t:

... and the quest continues... (with some nice stretches of UC3 multiplayer thrown in).
Now Playing: Clash Royale (mobile), Gravity Rush 2, Rayman Legends, Project CARS, Uncharted 4 Survival Mode ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

I saw the official AC NL strategy guide today while I was at Walmart and I was struck but how small it is. It's pretty thick but instead of the traditional letter size it's about the size of a paperback book. Weird.

We've been getting quite a few mini guides at Walmart and almost all of them are for Nintendo games. Super Mario 3D Land, for example. They're kinda cool, but I'm not sure why they've chosen to do this switch. A couple of the last WWE games had mini guides, too.

If Red Shadow doesn't with his store discount then I'll pick one up for you. PM him with a request and if he can't do it let me know. Walmart is only about 5 minutes away from my house and I'm there about twice a week so it's really no bother.

Playing Killer instinct on the SNES today and trying to get back into it. All this talk of XBOX one KI gave me urge to go back. I only ever got good at it back in the nearly nighties and now I am rubbish. As the only KI fan out of my circle who play games I want to beat my mates who love and rock at Street Fighter on the new KI when my mate gets it.

So for the first time today I thought I would use my SNES with RGB on my LED TV. Yet sadly that did not work as the I get the Nintendo Logo and sound but then it fades to black and only sound remains. So I thought hmm could be the resolution but then it turns out it must be a modern TV issue with brightness and contrast because I could get a little bit of ghosting but no real picture. So I had to go back to composite through my AV receiver instead...Think I will have to invest in a CRT.

Love KI.. I aslo have been playing the upgraded Balloon Flight which just got harder but I love it so much I have put in over 10 hours on it and that's crazy!
