it's all snes for me lately with my console cleaned on the outside (and no yellowing whatsoever, it's all first quality plastic on this baby) AND inside (thanks to a little gem called 4.5 philips screwdriver), and a fresh working controller, nothing can stop me and my snes i've started collecting on CIB's for the snes, all the lost loved ones and some hidden gems i only recently discovered. seeing those boxes makes me realise, again, how unbelievable phat this console is. it's the pinnacle of 2D gaming (which face it, even rivals some graphics of the N64 in the detail department) and i wonder how could i ever lose track of it. is it because society demands playing the newest / coolest games? maybe that worked with me on the schoolyard, but the moment i closed those doors forever was when i started to think for myself. screw all your halo's / COD's. you cant kill wall tearing skeletons in those games (probotector) or something even cooler (the baseball guys from yoshi's island). i'm on the verge of selling all my current gen games / systems. but then again if there is one thing that the snes taught me, it's to NEVER....EVER get rid of your games no matter how bad it is. except if it has the word "oblivion" or "skyrim" in its title. one dungeon of ALTTP has more fun than the whole of those two games. if this is how RPG's are going to be, i'll never buy a new RPG ever again. |

I ordered the Ultimate Edition from EzyDVD the other week. Still waiting for it to get to me. Apparently it went on back order or something. So the wait continues. I'm pretty keen to get my hands on it. I enjoyed Fallout 3 and totally missed the boat when New Vegas came out. |

Just started up Max Payne 3. Looks QUITE promising!! Haven't played either of the first two... and with the looming generation upon us, I'm looking to play a good bit of the multiplayer this weekend. Especially since it's supposedly a triple-XP weekend. Then... it's probably back to Uncharted 3 multiplayer.

Struggling with Quake (N64) for the game-off, have been playing on and off for quite some time now, it's just so hard and frustrating. It's dark and hard so see what's going on in the game, which doesn't help with the high frequency of monsters everywhere, plus the controls are rather horrible. It's such a relief each time a level is finished so that you can save the game. Oh well, hopefully I will finish it sometime. And well, in between rage quits/breaks from that ^^ game, I have been re-playing and finishing both OoT and AoL.

reliving old snes times robocop vs terminator: hard as hell but a very good robocop game. i like this type of game: pick up and play, focus on gameplay in stead of graphics castlevania 4: my first time playing this. hard to tell why people like this so much, there isnt even a run button i keep dying too [n00b alert]earthbound: cool graphics and sounds, looks like i might sit this one through the fighting mechanic seems a bit dated though, especially for a game released rather at the end of the snes' lifetime

One of my fav games, played it recently on the Mega drive. Got to the last level buy it's so hard, kids these days dont know how easy they have it with check points and regenerating health lol. Just started Sleeping Dogs on the PC, quite impressed so far. Installed the high res texture pack and it looks great on my pc, its not even a very high spec pc but everything is maxed apart from AA and running at 40 FPS. |

For ages, I dug around my house trying to find perfect dark, and after a lot of digging I finally found it! only to discover my expansion pack has dissapeared, so no PD for now:( cant wait to play it again though! Also, I'm currently playing Diddy Kong racing, personally I find it much more fun than Mario kart 64 Edited by martian22, Aug 26 2013, 04:26 PM.

I'm currently playing a number of games. I recently signed up to PSN Plus on my PS3 to take advantage of the instant game collection and the free 3 months on top of the 12 month sub. So games I'm currently playing are. Need for Speed Most Wanted Splinter Cell Blacklist PayDay The Heist I recently found out that I have unlimited internet download a the moment, so that's a good excuse to download the other games in the library and check them out

@martian... wow, talk about a super-legacy quote!! Yeah... I spent AGES playing through Perfect Dark... even pouring dozens (hundreds?) of ours into the multiplayer with the bots, trying to rank up to the fabled 1st rank. Haven't played it since, but Perfect Dark HD is still on my bucket list... @Dee... awesome! I thought the PS+ was totally worth it, even before the "Instant Game Collection" so you could imagine how great a deal I think it is now!! On topic... started up Max Payne 3 (multiplayer) and Terraria this last weekend, breaking my solid nearly-3-month-long run of Uncharted 3 multiplayer. FUN STUFF!!

Taking a break from Pikmin 2 and have been playing quite a bit of GTA 4. Oh, and I'm also a chunk through Mario & Luigi: Dream Team right now I'm enjoying the control scheme for the most part and the game overall, but I am not a big fan of all of the cut scenes and dialogue

Started playing Dead rising 2 as its free on Xbox live..................quickly stopped playing dead rising 2, whats the point in that game. Downloaded Max Payne 3 as I have some money on my Xbox account, seems pretty good so far but it's a little bit repetitive |

Spent about 4 hours last night playing GTA V. Wow, such a great game, with so much to do. Like I said about 4 hours gameplay last night and I havn't even made a dint in that massive map. The city and everything is so alive and the gameplay feels a lot smoother than GTA IV. The driving mechanics are really nice and the game feels so easy to operate. I think there is going to be some life lost exploring this monstrosity of a game

I really love the vehicle variety this time around!! In past gta's it felt like car models had pre-defined spawn areas so you'd always spot the same car like 3 times in the same 10m radius. This time, I just love speeding through the city with SO MUCH variety ! Tomorrow is finally my day off so im gonna play as much as i can! |

Ran into a nasty glitch in Dead Island: Riptide that is totally frustrating me. I'm gonna give it another go today but if it continues I'll be playing something else until GTA V gets here.

i keep dying too [n00b alert]

I'm at 80% complete for Ms. Pac-Man, and yesterday, I finally managed to get through the Air Force One level on Perfect Agent (again, for the 3rd time ever, 1st time in at least 5 years)... and not only that, but through a freak instance of ambition, I decided to also go for the time-trial cheat (unlimited ammo - laptop gun)... which I nailed almost right after! It's probably the easiest Perfect Agent time cheat to get, right? I just remember some of the other ones being retardedly difficult to get. It's sad... like I would never re-visit a level after I got the time-cheat for it.
... unless I do another play-through.
