What kind of glitch? Those that make you trapped inside the wall? :(

The game keeps freezing during this mission called Stalwart Defense. After I kill all the zombies in the first wave the game freezes. I've read that it is a somewhat common glitch and the fix is to kill a certain special zombie last but the whole ordeal is quite chaotic and it is hard to keep the zombies sorted out, especially when you are expected to shoot a HMG at the zombies when they first rush the building, then take 'em out one on one when they break in AND come to the aid of any of my fellow survivors if they are struggling with a zombie themselves. I've been resisting giving it another go because I'll get discouraged if I can't get it on the first try or two. Its a shame because I really enjoy the Dead Island games despite the issues (such as this one) that they are plagued with.

EDIT: After several attempts utilizing tips I picked up online I was finally able to pass that mission. One more freeze occurred in the next immediate area but I booted up again and made some more progress before I had to go pick up my daughter from school. I hope to jump back in later.

Just finished up my first playthrough (on "Hard") of Max Payne 3 this morning.
Wow... just... wow. What a dark, gritty, depressing, and disturbing story.

The floorcat approves.

As of recently, I started playing DOTA 2. I don't know what it is, but the game is extremely fun even for a tutorial stage showing me how to play. It might be due to the fact that this is the first game in the MOBA genre that I've ever played but the game looks and feels quite promising even though I'm going to get wrecked online for about 200 matches. I also started playing Dead Space on PC since I bought it when EA was doing the Humble Bundle sale. My only complaint about the game is that it is just way too predictable for its scare tactics. Maybe it's because I'm only on Chapter 2, but I'm hoping that it picks up soon otherwise I'm uninstalling it.

Decided that I'll use my travel times to catch up on my Vita backlog, and started to play Persona 4 Golden.

Enjoying it so far, just reached the point where
Spoiler: click to toggle
, even ended up playing some more at home

I don't own a Vita but what all is different in Golden compared to P4? I have P4 for the PS2 and I've been thinking about buying a Vita just for Persona 4 Golden.

Put a few hours into Beyond: Two Souls today and I'm really enjoying it. What I'm not enjoying is the none too surprising amount of "is it a video game or an interactive movie" discussion already in progress. Just play it or don't! Like it or don't, but don't begrudge those of us who do like it.

Beat The Beat : Rhythm Paradise on Wii.

Have hit a wall with this - the difficulty becomes brutal at the 7th group of mini-games. Great stuff though - well worth a look.

I've been playing a lot of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix on the Xbox 360 lately. It's one of the games included in the Capcom Digital Collection disc that I ordered off of Ebay for just $15. To me that seems like a tremendous value as I got 8 games for what just SSFIITHR usually sells for by itself in digital download form.

I only put 4 or so hours into the PS2 version, so couldn't tell you, look online though, I'd do it but worried about potential spoilers

At the moment playing OoT on my 3DS, have this game around for a while now but this weekend i'm finishing it finally for the first time.

Someting strange is going on, completed the water temple, and I'm trying to get the fire arrows, when I shoot the sun a magic potion comes down what am I doing wrong?

EDIT: Seems I already had the fire arrows, 1 hour wasted getting something I already had. I guess that is my punishment for taking a brake on this game.

Right now, I'm playing Pokemon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance. I've been playing Pokemon FireRed on and off for about most of the year now. My friend (who lives in another state and owns the LeafGreen version) and I are tackling the two games together, making sure not to play unless both of us are free. The reason it's taking too long is because, well, we haven't had many chances we're both free and don't feel like playing something else.

Yesterday, we've decided to get our Pokemon up to a certain level on our own before we both continue on to the Seafoam Islands. I guess that's another reason why it's taking long: we're actually grinding to level up all of our Pokemon instead of going into the Pokemon League with a strong starter and Bird type like usual. xD

As of this writing, I've got a few games on the go:

1) Dragon's Crown, which I am enjoying. I've been playing my copy for about two weeks now and I think I'm finally starting to 'get it'. A very enjoyable romp that will (no doubt) be loved by those craving an old-school beat-em-up.

2) Top Gear Rally, a game I purchased over two months ago and just started recently. Enjoying it so far, but I've still got a lot of work to do before I consider myself good at the game.

3) Wind Waker HD, a game that I loved on the cube is back with a fresh coat of pain! Same old Zelda (never a bad thing), but not quite an amazing as I remember. Only a few hours in so far.

4) GTAV... a game I was looking forward to for quite some time... I think my love was but a fleeting thing. I dunno... I like it and all, but it hasn't grabbed my like it has others. Maybe it has something to do with the amount of content... it scares me how much there is available to the player.

There are also a heap of others (alpha titles) that I'm dabbling with and I'm hoping to get started on Telltale's latest, The Wolf Among Us, later tonight!

Right now, I'm playing Mega Man X (Wii Virtual Console) and Spelunky (PS3). Of course when my N64 arrives soon, I will have a lot more to choose from (also just realized, again, that my PS3 can play PlayStation games, so I want to get a collection going for that system as well as Gamecube games once I get a Gamecube controller). That and I have plenty of Wii and PS3 games I do want to get, so there is that, as well as eventually a PS4/3DS/gaming PC/Wii U...

You can see that I don't see myself ever dropping gaming as a hobby.

At the moment, I am playing nothing. It seems I am in one of those moods and am having a selection drama with what I should play. I guess that's the issue when you back them up on a need to play basis and don't feel like playing anything. Maybe I'll just watch a movie :D

Downloaded episode one for The Wolf Among Us. Played about 20 minutes the other night before I was too tired to continue. Looks like a really good game on first impressions. Got the season pass for it. You save about $6 all up by downloading the pass rather than one at a time.

Beat Wind Waker HD and man that ending looks so good in High def. Really love that game so much. and I caught a shiny panpour in Pokemon Y which I wasn't expecting. The shiny rate is like 1/1000 now so its way more common to find em but still a good feat considering i was only in the first forest :P. Also playing some GTA here and there but its starting to bore me unfortunately.

Let me know if you want any recommendations for games for both systems. :yeah:

Back on topic... (and as a surprise ~I'm sure~ to any of you who are on my PS friend list and have been on the PSN lately)... I'm still playing me some Max Payne 3. Man, what a brutal game! Finished my "Hardcore" playthrough on Saturday, and spent most of the day Sunday on New York Minute (got to the last chapter). Still need to practice up on every level after chapter 2, but regardless of how prepared I am, "New York Minute Hardcore" is gonna be insaaaaaaaane!!

Not really... although since I am hoping to build a gaming PC in early 2014, some recommendations for PC-only games (or superior version on PC) would be nice. I really want to make use of my Steam account (especially since my current laptop is useless for gaming thanks to a video card with low amount of dedicated RAM).

Dragon's Crown looks very interesting! I'm a big fan of Vanillaware after having played the drop-dead gorgeous Muramasa: The Demon Blade on the Wii.

What game am I playing? Today I'm probably going to put a little more time in with Muramasa as I never did finish it. ;)

All I play these days is Hobbit Kingdoms of Middle Earth on my Galaxy

It is a highly addictive civilization building and war game. It takes up WAY to much of my time. I am a regent of a 65 member alliance in the world I play in and am currently 13th strongest on the world I play in. :D

some of my current interests:

- f zero GX: brilliant graphics, smooth gameplay and the best ever f zero. great to play in short sessions, i use this for a quick adrenaline rush

- blood omen 2 gamecube: feels good to play this on the gamecube. for some reason i like to play it better than the PS2 which is overall a very glitchy machine. this is my current favorite vampire / spooky game

- wave race blue storm: nice to revisit this one. better than the N64 version. also a good pick up and play game

- metal gear solid twin snakes: a metal gear solid on a nintendo console. the best version of metal gear solid, with added playability and coolness. currently my favorite action title. this is really the goldeneye of the gamecube and very underrated

I played State of Decay last week for the first time since, uh, the day it came out. Anyway, most of my people were dead (big shock, right?) but at least a few were still alive as well as my character. I didn't play for long, though, just enough to see what shape the group was in. I need to get back to that game...someday. When I feel like jumping back into a game it will most likely be Dead Island: Riptide and/or Legend of Legaia.
