I am so pissed at myself that I never played Eternal Darkness; always heard awesome things about it.

Anyway, I am currently playing Resident Evil Revelations for the Wii U. Also looking for Duck Tales Target edition w/ the metal pin. I would be happy to paypal anyone that can get one for me :)

@Striker, if you head over to the want to sell section BDR has 2 for sale right now for a very reasonable $30 shipped if you live in the US. :yeah:

Was the original version of this game really all that popular? It seems like such a random game to re-release in a remastered version all these years later. I was never a DuckTales fan back in the day so maybe I'm missing the point.

I am playing BF4 now, my PC can take everything on "High" frame rate is pretty do-able,

LOTS of bugs in the game (single player) The most funniest part:
You need to be SNEAKY and walk to a gate, when my "teammate" LITTERLY WALKS over the enemy tank, and was not spotted at all..
There was also en enemy stuck in the wall and I could not hit him, he killed me though <_<

Looks like I'll be returning to the world of Joel and Ellie (although it looks like it will take place before they meet and Joel won't be a part of it) early next year with the first single player DLC pack for The Last Of Us.

I've been playing lots of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn lately. I think it's a must play for every Final Fantasy and MMOrpg's fans out there. The game itself is incredibly fun and challenging. The only downside in my opinion is the monthly subscription, which tends to be frowned upon by many MMO players since most recent MMO's don't have monthly subs. But hey, I guess $15/month isn't that bad if you really enjoy the game :P

Anyone that hasn't bought this yet and is a Zelda fan...get it!! it's probably the best Zelda game since Ocarina of Time.

Everything you mention is all new! I was very skeptical when I heard of it's release about it not having enough new content to be different enough from the original but that's far from the truth. The map layout is all that is similar, however a lot extra has been added to make it a completely different game.

Played the first temple in 3D Dot Game Heroes and enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm sure its a little on the easy side to begin with as I whipped through it quickly. I like it so far.

Now I'm off to play some GTA Online.

The first episode of The Walking Dead Season 2 was fantastic but over way too quickly. I guess I'm just not used to it as I played the first season all at once. Argh, these episodic games are real killers. Its always worth it when it comes to a TellTale game, though. :yeah:

I totally agree mate. Just finished it then and was happy with what episode 1 had to offer. These ending credits are a bit annoying though

Cathie's been playing the Brian Age games on my old DS. Sudoku is great for stimulating logical thinking and it's also quite relaxing as it requires so much concentration to complete the puzzles quickly and without any mistakes.

I've been playing Sin & Punishment: Star Successor on the Wii. The game is so deliciously difficult that I absolutely love it.

Mario & Sonic: 2010 Winter Games (Wii): Surprisingly well done family fun

New Super Mario Bros. U: Super Mario Bros. is all grown up.

NES Remix: I do like playing handheld games in short bursts, and sitting on the couch upstairs from the Wii U feels like a handheld, and the game fits the bill perfectly. For the unfamiliar, it's like NES black box training (or in my case, re-learning, lol).

I do have to agree with that floorcat. I've got no clue how you get so high.

Me I've been playing a bit of DMC Devil May Cry on the PS3. Came free to the console with PS+, really liking it so far.

Been playing a lot of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Started playing Minecraft (again) too. For the most part though, I've just been adding to my backlog that I probably won't get to until I retire. =P

i rediscovered my PS2, and i still have all my save files and my original day-one purchase retail copies. 95% of my 30 games have mint discs 8)

predator concrete jungle: i played this game to death when it was first released. i discovered all the upgrades and weapons and my stats are maxed out. this game is so much mindless fun. i feel i have to completely learn the controls anew, as they are very confusing. they take long to learn. but there are so many cool ways to wreak havoc in the levels, it's more than rewarding! 8)

killzone: this was before the regenerating health bars, you still had to find medipaks. for this fact alone, i think this is the best killzone. i hated killzone 2 with a passion.

goldeneye rogue agent: you can shoot 2 guns at a time, including the rcp90 from the very first level onwards. you make your own combinations. you have a cool goldeneye gadget that can even deflect buttons. can you do this in killzone 2? no, the only thing killzone 2 has is good graphics, everything else sucks

jaws unleashed: the funniest sandbox game i know. the moves that jaws has give mortal kombat a run for its money. this game is incredibly fun. this is what gameplay is all about. the developers gave jaws every cool move they could think of. you attack swimmers, boats, orca's and even harbours (wut??).

all in all, i think the PS2 and the gamecube were the last real gameplay-based gen. after that it was all about graphics. but these two offered the best of two worlds: perfect graphics and incredibly fun gameplay. small developers could still take risks, and the result was a variety or original gameplay mechanics.

I did a run through of Jeopardy! today and...failed miserably. But I'm not giving up. I will be champion and complete a game for the Beats 'Em All!

Last night, while GTA Online was shut down for maintenance, I tried to play some CoD 4 but I ran into an unusual error. Well, maybe not all that unusual as there are YouTube videos that instruct how to get around it, but I could never get it to work. I'm not sure I'll be able to play the dang game anytime soon. :-/

Been playing F-Zero GX the past several nights. I never appreciated how good that game was back then. It also reminds me how absolutely glorious the Gamecube controller is.

The last two tracks on the Emerald Cup keep kicking my butt though!

Has anyone here been playing the alpha/pre-alpha versions of Rust or Nether? I find these two games to be rather fascinating as they involve genres that I don't normally get excited for. They are both online games that involve pvp and Rust also includes a major crafting style kind of in the vein of Minecraft. Nether is sort of a survival horror game. Neither one really has questing or missions but that may change in the final builds. There are a lot of YouTubers playing these games and I just feel drawn to checking them out myself. You still have to pay for them in their early builds but they are $20 each and I'm thinking about giving them a go. I'd love to hear opinions from anyone who has played them or watched footage.

EDIT: They are both for PC and you can get them on Steam.
