Currently dipping in and out of a few games: BioShock Infinite - been playing this for a month or so but not really feeling it yet. Dead Space 3 - I got this cheap a wee while ago and only recently started it. Really enjoying it so far. I like the pacing, it's really upbeat and frenetic. Dante's Inferno - A last chance for this one. It's n been sitting on my shelves for years, if I don't get into it soon then it's getting traded/sold. Driver San Francisco - picking this back up again after a year break. Still enjoying it, taking my time and sweeping everything up. Super Mario 64 - I've a save file with only 28 stars on it and crazy idea about finishing it for the first time since I originally finished it back in 1997... Automobili Lamborghini - time hasn't been kind to this game. It was so-so back when it was released, but it's a bit sentimental to me because it was the first N64 motor racing game I bought when it was brand new. |

I'm in the middle of playing Epic Mickey for the Nintendo Wii. It has some serious technical problems that is making it tough for me to enjoy this otherwise great game. |

After MK8, I decided to give two much maligned games a run. 007 Legends. Look I'm not much of a FPS fan, and this one started to grab me. Dan Craig and Dame Judi Drench voice acting? Nice. First scene discovering a beautiful victim of goldfinger? sweet. Running and gunning toward a countdown meter marker through an enemy airbase...ah, you lost me. (literally, I fell in a trench and it took me awhile to figure out how to progress). i might give it another try but this really isn't my genre. Wii U Boxing. Two fists, two remotes. Oh yeah! Okay, there are some calibration issues, and accuracy issues, but I got a Wii U workout and it was a blast. Will play again. |

@Milage007 I bet you're having a blast. Those GTA games on the PS2 were magic at the time. I'd love to go back and replay them all again sometime. |

Ran into too many technical problems and design flaws with Epic Mickey and decided it wasn't worth playing through anymore. Now I'm playing one of my favorite video games of all time: Super Mario 64. I've never gotten all 120 Power Stars before, so maybe I'll do that. No promises, though. I'm also going to play Men in Black: The Series for the Game Boy Color on the side. I hear it's pretty awful (seeing who the developers are, I believe it), but that it's also short and easy. It'll just be something I can say I've beaten I guess.

Been playing some PSone and N64 games recently: Medal of Honor (PS1) - I like this, it took a while to find the right control set up though. It has a fairly slow pace at the start, hoping things will pick up soon. Forsaken (N64) - In trying to get further than I did when I original played this (1998-ish?). The levels start of well but seen to lose their way as the game progresses. Not giving up yet though. |

I used to love Medal of Honor on the PS1 back in the day, great game. When you're dressed in Nazi gear and you have to show your credentials he like whips out some form of ID lol.

Spent the last 2 days solid playing LA Noire and still haven't finished it yet. Game time is hovering around 14 hours. I'm really enjoying it so far. Only about 5 missions left on the main story

I have a DS game based on the first Michael Bay Transformer movie and that one turned out to be a lot of fun as well. I still go back to it if I want to replay some of the missions or just cruise around some of the locations. As for what I'm playing now, I'm continuing a playthrough of Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Colonel that got interrupted early in the year due to my old GBA SP refusing to charge. So far, it's been fun save for those Liberation missions. I really don't like tactical role-playing games and being forced to beat everything within three turns (including the bosses) doesn't help much.

I've been playing Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on PS1 and it has me hooked! Can you believe that I actually got the game one year ago and waited until last weekend to play it? Castlevania is one of my biggest gaps in gaming history, as it's such a big franchise that I've never even played before. So last week, I happened to listen to a podcast with Castlevania music and was inspired to finally fire up my PS1 disc. And I was not disappointed, as SotN is really awesome. It's filling the Metroid void in my heart that Nintendo hasn't in years... But yeah, I'm a bit stuck in the game at the moment, as the second castle is really, really tough. On the portable side of things, I'm slowly working through Mario & Luigi Dream Team, but I've been busy at work and haven't played in a couple weeks (I get most portable gaming done at work-- during lunch, on breaks, etc.). I also started messing around in Mega Man Battle Network for GBA. I need to calm down and play one game at a time. |

Finally picked up where I left off (almost exactly 3 years ago now) on my Ico save-file. THIS, is a STELLAR. GAME. Some of those puzzles really stumped me a few times, but I was determined to get through the game without looking up any walk-through guides, etc. (which was kind of why I stopped playing those many years ago... I was stuck!!) The patience paid off! A really beautiful piece of work... even though the game is a few generations old now, I can't help but marvel at the level design, atmosphere, and scenery. Looking forward to SotC!! (And the Last Guardian, if that ever comes out!! heh)

Playing through South Park The Stick of Truth. Really really good game. Struggled to get In to it in the first hour, but once I got used to the gameplay and style of game it was, I'm thoroughly enjoying my South Park experience

New Super Mario Bros U (By myself for the first time, usually my siblings and I play this one together) RE 4 Gamecube, still workin on this one though I am very far! Dr Mario N64, friends, siblings, and I are loving it after spending hours upon hours on the NES one. Kirby Triple Deluxe 3DS, took me a bit to get into as the first world was way too easy. I put it away for a while but I broke it out again and it's great now! Actually kind of challenging once you get far into it. A Link Between Worlds 3DS, second play through |

I'm now heading into Mega Man X5 (I've beaten Battle & Chase and X4 since my last post). I'll admit I'm not 100% excited to start this one as I hear a time limit and even luck determines what ending you get. |

Since Friday, I've been spending an unhealthy amount of time on Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. Smash Run just might be my favorite mode in the game outside of online battling. For now, though, I'm trying to beat Classic Mode with all characters.Oh and I forgot to mention this a few posts ago, but my friend and I are both playing through The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (though I'm playing the HD version on Wii U). We're making slow progress due to our different work schedules as well as other life...stuff, but we'll beat this thing eventually.

Been working my way through the story of GTAIV. (Only 6 years after everyone else in the world had done so.) Fun!! And when my schedule (or, my partner's schedule, rather) doesn't allow me to flit about in Liberty City, I've been doing the same, but in Theftropolis (i.e. Retro City Rampage).

My gaming, again, is a lot of portable gaming. On the PSP I'm struggling to beat the last few bosses in Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the blade. The whole game -more or less- is a walk in the park, except for the last 3-ish missions. Now I got some very much needed skillpoints set for stuff I do not need in battle. you!On the other hand played SSB and Kirby Triple Delux on 3DS. Specially the last one. Really really liking it! Kirby still is cute as ****, but the game gets pretty tough! Edited by Kamikaze, Oct 16 2014, 11:49 PM.

With Wind Waker HD out of the way, my free time is now split between Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Pokemon Black 2. Unfortunately, I think Pokemon Y has spoiled me so I'm not enjoying Black 2 as much as I thought I would. That and the story, so far, is pretty weak. But I'm still around the beginning of the game (just got the third gym badge), so maybe the story will pick up later. UPDATE: And add Kingdom Hearts II to the list. Like Wind Waker HD, I'll be playing this one with my friend. We've beaten the first game earlier this year so continuing the story will be interesting especially since this will be my first time playing through this game from beginning to end. Decided to dip my toe into some Dragon Age Origins tonight and I really like it. I still lean towards waiting to get the console version before going all out with it but I enjoyed it and we'll see how far I go with the PC version in the coming weeks. |

I've taken a small break from Pokemon Black 2 to focus on Super Mario All-Stars. I've already beaten Super Mario Bros. and The Lost Levels, so now I'm moving on to my favorite in the collection: Super Mario Bros. 2. |
