I've been playing a fair bit if GTA V on the PS4. Only about half way through the main story. Might be putting it down for a while though. I've got DragonAge inquisition, Assassins Creed Rogue and The Wolf Among Us all coming in in the last week that I also want to get into.

Feel like turning my attention to DAI at this point. With a game time of over 40 hours to complete I'm really looking forward to what this game has to offer.

A few days ago I decided to drop into World of Warcraft for 30 days just so I could make an appearance during the 10th anniversary event and get the special achievement. I don't even have the new expansion yet but I couldn't miss out on something that will never happen again. Anyway, I had been thinking about how I had put over 600 hours into Garry's Mod this year alone and that the only game that might rival that was WoW. Boy was I ever right. I have over 1600 hours on one character alone! And he wasn't even my original guy.

I have played that game off and on for over 5 years but even that number surprises me. I guess I got lost in Azeroth a little more than I remembered.

So after all the free games I've downloaded today, I decided to start a game I bought a few weeks before Christmas.

Assassins Creed Rogue. Have just started playing this, but am already enjoying it. The whole era that it's played in is really enjoyable IMO.

Far Cry 4 has taken the back seat to Garry's Mod and World of Warcraft. I have such short attention span when it comes to games these days. X_D

Been battling through Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Wonderfully challenging 2D platformer with gorgeous graphics, brutal 3-stage boss fights and terrific soundtrack. To calm down after a particular tense DKC session, I've been chipping away at Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, which is a great chill game.

Should add that I've been logging some Contra NES time (when the kids are hogging the Wii U :D ). What a game. Still stands up after all these years. After 2 play-throughs using THE CODE, I'm trying to beat it without. And it is all about keeping the Spray Gun.

Been playing a bit of local multiplayer with a mate on Diablo 3. I never play games like this, but I am really enjoying this game. Might be because of the multiplayer factor :yeah:

Been playing a lot of modern games lately.
- On 3DS I've been battling with Project X Zero. Really nice cross-over with a lot of famous Japanese games. Nice story, but gameplay is more or less the same all the time. Good for short plays of an hour or so.
- On WiiU my time is being split between Mario Kart 8 and WindwakerHD. MK8 takes a lot of time on getting true one trophy for getting gold (the one with Dry Dry Desert). Just can't get it. And that sucks. But online makes up great for the single player frustration.
On the other hand WindwakerHD is really fun. Time flies while playing this classic. Although I own it, I never played the GC original. Really liking the Gamepad-only play, while my favorite TV shows are on in the back as well.

That's my fourth or fifth #1 ranking and i only have six tables :)

Right now, I'm playing some Tekken Tag Tournament on my PS2, but it's only to pass the time. When day light disappears, I'm getting started on my playthrough of Fatal Frame for Xbox.

Started playing campaign mode in Battlefield 3 last night and was enjoying myself. Then, today, I tried to play again and I keep getting thrown to the Battlefield website and I can't enter campaign mode because it says I have to download something and repeated attempts to do so net me with errors. I'm kinda confused and agitated. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found the problem. Chrome was blocking the plug-in that the website was calling for. I don't understand why so much hassle just to play this game. Oh yeah, its EA.

Having watched helplessly as copies of shooters GunNac and Crisis Force rose from a $1 listing price to a final sale today of about 80% of market value, I rocked some Star Soldier Vanishing Earth on the N64. Beat Beginner Mode (which is so very fun) but got wasted on Regular. Very rusty, but made me forget about losing out on a remote chance to own those rarer (and likely inferior) shoot 'em ups.

I'm about 30 hours into Persona 3 Portable and I'm getting that same level of enjoyment as I did from Persona 4. I know I still have 50+ hours ahead of me but I'm excited for it! The characters and story really make these games shine; the characters feel like living, real people that you get to know and live along with. Just brilliant stuff.

I have been playing some Rage on the Xbox 360 of late. Decided with now having no internet that it was high time that I went back to some of the games I have in my back log and start playing them.

Really enjoying the game currently, has a fallout, bioshock feel to it.

Completed the first Heist in GTA:Online and WOW! I feel like they started off small, as the mission requires you to rob a very small bank on the west side of town but it still felt solid and totally crazy. I've never felt like such a criminal in my life  I loved yelling at the innocent witnesses to keep them down and prevent them from doing anything rash

Also, I quite like my new Heist vehicle 8)

How long did the entirety of the heist take? My friends and I have been discussing coming back and playing but we are trying to gauge our interest around the length of the heists and how much they'll pay out. Since we all work differing hours we're not sure we can sink hours into a heist if the cash isn't going to be sufficient.

Not long! Maybe 30 minutes? A nice almost-150k payout too :)

That's promising to hear. IGN said heists take 3 hours to complete creating about 20+ hours of new content with all the heists combined. I was a little worried about that. Thanks for the info!

Maybe the harder heists will be more complex or time-consuming, haven't tried them yet... The first one is really easy and felt really short, though. Nowhere near 3 hours for sure!

Had my first experiences with heists tonight with friends and it was a blast. We finished the initial heist and were halfway through the second when it just got too late for those who have to work early. Looking forward to doing more very soon.
